Chapter 3

Zyva sat silently in the dungeon, looking at the dirty floor while Sally searched desperately for a way to get out. She checked the window but it was too small, she started to shout for help and it didn’t work. She realized her comb was in her pocket. She tried to open the window with her comb, but it didn’t open. Angry, she stomped her foot at Zyva for not helping her. “ Instead of sitting there looking at the ground, you would have helped to find a way out!” But Zyva gulped, saying the escape was impossible. Sally folded her arms and tapped her foot in anger. They could not find a way out, and what was worse,

Zyva had given up on finding a way out of the dungeons.

As the sun went down, the dungeon was full of shadows and it was very cold. Inside, strange noises came into the dungeon and it became dark and spooky. Outside, the wind howled, it was windy and stars glowed in the night sky which lit up the rose gardens of Breckenhill Bridge. They both heard a quiet bark in the  bush rustling glowing green eyes appeared in the bushes. It was Tiger, their mechanimal dog. They both winded him up and he dropped a small key into Sally’s hand.

Using the key, Sally and Zyva both unlocked the door. We started to escape the dungeons and came to the rose gardens, following Tiger across the lawn to the safety of a garden
Zyva lit up a fire when Sally explained the adventures they went on. They were safe, but questions remained: Where was this precious watch, and what had happened to Michael and his airship?
