The poem of hope by Maya

Hope is made from-
Clouds of marshmallows, delicious and tasty,
Wars coming to a halt,
Chocolate dripping from taps,
Wishful dreams of imaginative pieces,
when pieced together it creates hope.

I found it-
In the depths of the Earth after fights, letting freedom drift through the world,
In the face of the sun, shimmering down, casting wish everywhere,
In the eyes of my parents, wondering what they would get me for my birthday,, hoping it would be on my list.
In the ending of a great book, when something amazing happens.

Hope can-
End fights,
Bring goodness and rewards to everyone who deserves it,
Give yourself a smile, not of sadness,
Make sure you have an enjoyable time,
by hoping,
that everything would be great.

If I lost this hope-
I wouldn’t be able to wish, have desires or even have hopeful dreams,
that’s why everyone needs a slice of hope.

What can faith do? By Poppy

Faith poem

My faith is made from-
The sparkling dust of belief,
The sweet scent of freshly bloomed roses,
The warm feeling of melted chocolate in your mouth,
The softest and squishiest cloud in the sky.

I found it-
Snagged in the corner of a dusty shop, caked in mud and spiders,
The crisp corner of a perfectly red apple,
Floating in the middle of a mcdonald’s burger,
Trapped inside anxiety.
My faith can-
Calm the roughest of oceans,
Warm the sad hearts,
Eat distress and make it disappear,
Help anyone who may need it right now.

If I lost faith-
Even my best friends will be disappointed in me…

Happiness by Lilly

My happiness

My happiness comes from-

The laughter of children playing in the field

The bang of popcorn ready to be eaten

and the sound of my dad finishing work.

I found it-

Caged in the crust of bread

Trapped in a woollen scarf

Squished under a car tyre

where the doors meet like a hand ready to applaud.

The ship of enchantment by Nila

The ship of  enchantment

By Nila

On the ship of enchantment, there lay a Dead Sea under its deck while the glistening moon shone with its glory.

feathers of doves lay on the wooden deck as the abandoned boat floats to the mysterious nowhere.

The plankton was twinkling as the boat was sailed by an apparition.

The music box was the only sound, the lantern was a tiny, dying sun and the passing crows squawking were only a sign of distress.

Celestial chimes were the ships only friend as if it was an abandoned city.

You could hear muttering and whispering of ghosts singing a ballad for eternity as if they were a choir on a stage.

The sea will glisten, and if you listen, you will hear the ship of enchantment sailing as angles surround it.

It will sail till the crack of dawn, and the break of night when you sing to it too.

They say the ship is lost forever in the ocean, never to be found…

The vessel was once happy, but now it has no one to be with and it is sad…

Its salty tears mixed with the ocean, and that’s why it’s so salty…

And you thought you were lonely!

The boat made of green moonlight glow

The boat made of green moonlight glow

The green moonlight beamed on the cabin door, glowing out the brightness of the moon. Dust sparkled, across the darkness of the cabin floor shining out with the green light floating around in the galaxy. The moonlight observed its reflection in the waves of splashing depths. The sea roared its power as its waves crashed against the ghostly ship.Glistening moon rays rode on the splattering vessel. The vessel bounced of the unforgiving water and howled like a wolf. Flags of green skulls lingered overhead which gave me waves of fright. The galaxy shines as the Milky Way glows with pride and joy but  the pirate ship is still trying to reach the island.

The Ship Of Thunder

In the night sky, you can hear the water waving, you can smell the sickening smell of the dusty fishing rods. Laying down when you hear a loud bang that makes you feel sick to your stomach. The thunder is louder than an elephant blowing its trunk. You can see the evil crows trying to get to their nests without getting hit by the lighting that is followed by the thunder. The ship glows brighter than the jet black fog.

– || The Stream of Dreams || –

In the stream of dreams, the sparkling river flowed flawlessly as the boat was screaming with glee. The ocean swayed joyfully below the cotton white clouds. The sun beamed against the boat as the boat got close to land. The fish swam gracefully whilst the rocks sat silent and calm. The white sand stopped the little boat and a dash of wind suddenly passed which made the palm trees wave happily. The coconuts fell from the tree and came rolling down peacefully as if they wanted to say hello. The boat was pulled onto shore as the wind whistled lightly.

The Ship Of Hope!

Silence haunts the night, if you listen closely you might hear the ghostly whispers.

The Ship of Hope wanders through the Ocean of Luck like a lost child, portholes like spotlights light the way through the harrowing depths of the ocean. The empty hazel deck whispered through the night. If you looked down, you would see water fairies, happily dancing, twirling and more. The fairies brought hope and happiness to the uninteresting gloomy, silver, isolated boat. You can hear small giggles and thuds from the fairies. Vexed waves crashed along the boat, furious that the water had entered. The desolated cabins swayed, unable to stay put, the wind screamed aloud, the mirror shattered, the anchor unhitched, the wheel span and span unable to terminate- then silence…

The sea of secrets

In the sea of secrets, the sun shimmers down onto the sea like a spotlight on a polished stage.

Shipwrecks get buried in the sand as fish reveal their treasures with myths to be told.

In the sea of secrets, waves ripple like a twisted slide in the glittering dark ocean.

Rusted valuables lay on the bottom of the sea bed waiting to be found.

In the sea of secrets, caves of hidden promises hide beneath the golden sand.

Waves crashed before they became white foamy liquid getting dragged along the soft sand.

In the sea of secrets, silver metallic gifts were waiting to be found.

Sunlight shone down on the sea like a torchlight leading the way to paradise.

In the sea of secrets, the waves glistened as specks of glitter slid down the ocean.

The stars gazed down like eyes watching you every moment as the sun went down. The sea stopped..it all went quiet…and a golden shimmer reflected the sea…

The Eye

The ship was now officially repaired! The captain was steering the wheel like an athlete while the duck had its very own shelter in the dark corner of Tom and Sam’s room. “Here you go little one!” said Sam as he passed a bowl to the duck. “QUACK!” it answered. “Hey Tom! Is it okay if we spend time with the baby on top of the cloud?” Sam asked. “Fine, but we can’t stay up there for long, Sir David will go mad!” Tom answered. They slammed the door on the beds then off they went.

They climbed up the steps of section B at the back of the vast Cloud for their little hangout time. The steps were enormous, towering over eighty feet off the ground. They finally made it up to the tippy top of the airship to see that the ladder was hanging down from the front porch! “That’s not meant to be there, it’s meant to be pulled up and tucked into the storage tank!” Tom pointed out. Sam descended down the ladder to see if something or someone had took it down. Without warning, Sam screamed in the sight of a wide eye blinking at him. “TOM! You need to come see this!” Sam shouted with a slight screech. The eye had a dark green, thin pupils in the middle of a gloomy white outer layer. It had red lines in the corner of every dark spot and they just made it ever more frightening. “Where is all that noise coming from!” a voice shouted in the distance. “HIDE!” screeched Tom. Sam hid in a crate that said ‘NOBODYS HERE’ while Tom went behind a pile of empty cardboard boxes. However, it had looked like the eye had disappeared as it silently closed up.
