Chapter 2 by Alahna

Emma said to the old man “What is your name,” the old man said ” My name is Lucien Rose ,” he walked over to her ” You can touch anything but the book ,” he said firmly

Lucien walked behind the curtains with a pet monkey on his shoulder. Emma was walking round and saw the book again she was so tempted to write in the book she look behind the curtains for Lucien he was no where to be seen. There was a pen in her hand and she started to write in the book about a little forest with a mini for children when she finished she drew a little picture in it.

The monkey came form behind the curtains and it said ” Follow monkey.” Emma followed the monkey behind the curtains and the monkey tuck her to a door she opened the door and saw the picture she had drawn she was so excited to go in.

The Rose Emporium- Alahna

There are places where no one goes. The Rose Emporium was like that.

Even through at Christmas, the tinsel Hung from the door and shimmered in the moon light. The toys in the window waiting to be bought. The light in the window shimmering multicoloured and brightening up the shop.

But no one has ever been seen in the Rose Emporium. It was to dark and glum to enter. Until Emma did.

Chapter 1

Emma had always loved exploring all around town her mother hated it because she might get stolen. Emma was walking down Upton Street. She saw a new shop called the Rose Emporium. Emma walked in.

Everywhere she looked it was packed with age antiques and she wanted to touch it. She saw a monkey swinging on vines that hung down toy falling of the shelf and a vase of flowers.

If were a door

If I were a red door,
 I would show you,

The depths of Mount Etna,

 The field of dancing poppies

 And a pit of lava.

If I were a pink door,

 I would take you

To a blossom tree blowing in to wind,

To the world’s largest bubble gum

And cotton candy on and carnival store.

If I were a yellow door,

 I would show you

A bumblebee flying past your window,

 A gold bracelet being made

And fire flickering in the wind.

If I were a blue door

 I would stop you

From falling in the Pacific Ocean,

From the clouds into the sky

And a pile of jelly fish.

If I were a green door,

 I would lead you

To a field of freshly cut grass,

 Leaves blowing in the wind

And children’s screaming in the grass.

If I were a orange door

 I would stop you

 From falling in lava,

 Form falling into sinking sand

 And falling into flickering fire.
