If were a door
If I were a red door,
I would show you,
The depths of Mount Etna,
The field of dancing poppies
And a pit of lava.
If I were a pink door,
I would take you
To a blossom tree blowing in to wind,
To the world’s largest bubble gum
And cotton candy on and carnival store.
If I were a yellow door,
I would show you
A bumblebee flying past your window,
A gold bracelet being made
And fire flickering in the wind.
If I were a blue door
I would stop you
From falling in the Pacific Ocean,
From the clouds into the sky
And a pile of jelly fish.
If I were a green door,
I would lead you
To a field of freshly cut grass,
Leaves blowing in the wind
And children’s screaming in the grass.
If I were a orange door
I would stop you
From falling in lava,
Form falling into sinking sand
And falling into flickering fire.
