if I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the taste of

an ice cream freezing my mouth and giving me a brain freeze in the  Sahara desert.

I would take the sound of

the sea waves, splashing against my body – cold, frozen.

I would take the taste of

marmite toast,

melting butter, warm and hot In the North Pole.

I would take the sound of

The Pacific Ocean splashing against my body like getting dunked in ice.

I would take the smell of

the Japanese flag then eat the rainbow down the oesophagus.

if I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the taste of strawberry cake slices like thick sponge on vanilla ice cream, a water melon made of strawberries and a book by  Enid Blyton,

I would take the touch of the sun melting in a winter wonderland.

A wood fence making me get splinters, and  water from a warm lake.

I would take the smell of a rainbow on a cold windy day.

the window of a classroom,

 and paper from the ninetees.

I would take the sound of water waves crashing against sea walls, birds tweeting in wildlife

and wind blowing against are faces.

I would take the sight of the colour pink  dancing in a talent

show,

the moon in the day and the sun at night and trees with orange and red leaves.

If I was called to create a mask…

IF I WAS CALLED TO CREATE A MASK

I would take the sound of

midnight wings flapping in the morning breeze,

the flying spell coming from a unicorns silver, sparkling horn

and the magical white snow from Mount Everest.

I would take the taste of

lightning jumping through the sky,

ice skaters twirling and spinning

and hazy mist licking an eerie landscape.

I would take the smell of

smoke from Apollo 11 thumping down onto the moon,

the fiery flames from an ancient fireplace

And the lava crawling away from a faraway volcano.

I would take the touch of

clouds as hard as the door to a deep, dark dungeon,

the sun as cold as ice cream

and snow as hot as chilli.

I would take the sight of

laughter as big as the universe,

If I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the sight of

A thoughtful tree dancing in the strong winds,

The dull street you saw many years ago,

and the leaves running from the oak tree.

I would take the sound of

my cousins joyfulness and terrified tears,

The wind pushing the clouds,

lava launching itself through the sky.

I would take the smell of

of happiness shimmying up my spine,

the sunset enjoying the view of the sea dancing, the dog running from the picture it’s trapped in.

I would take the taste of

the moon cooking spicy chicken,

the chick running from the oven,

ducklings hating by the picnic.

I would take the touch of

the quickest eagle in in the solar system,

the flying diamond dancing though the night

lightness beaming though the great nights darkness.

If I was called to create a mask…

I would take the sight of

the sun burning like a microwave,

a jaguar tiptoeing into the city

and Mo Salah’s feet racing.

I would take the smell of

chocolate being crunched like a squirrel eating its nuts,

nice aftershave giggling in the drawer,

and tropical fruit juice frowning at your appetite.

I would take the sound of

scraping noises like people screaming,

trees shouting at lumberjacks – destroyers of the Earth,

goal posts running away from frightening footballs.

if I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the taste of strawberry cake slices like thick sponge on vanilla ice cream, a water melon made of strawberries and a book by  Enid Blyton,

If I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the sight of a

golden  lucky leaf,

a bad blood sword,

and a golden bar hitting the ground.

I would take the touch of

venom taking my body,

a flaming volcano,

and the Earth exploding.

I would take the taste of

a golden poppy floating in the sky,

a black hole  taking everything,

the water slapping my face.

If I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the sound

of Bess’s bark at the tractor in the nearby fields,

the purr of a newborn cat

and the whine of a panting puppy.

I would take the touch

of the glistening water in the swimming pool of a bee,

fire in an aluminium prison

and a vase of floating lava.

I would take the taste of a Big Mac on Antartica,

a melon made out of dogs

and a blade of wood.

I would take the smell

of elderberries in the wild,

painted plastic pizza melting in a mouth of matches

and a silly salmon with salmonella.

I would take the sight

of an erupting volcano spewing out ice,

an evil dentist torturing the patient

and a blob of ink.

If I was called in to create a mask…

I would take the sight of

a shooting rainbow stretching out wide ,

a magical silver tree with stars hanging,

and a golden ice pinecone that makes wishes come true.

I would take the smell of

fairy sugar and a purple Milky Way,

a banana thrown onto a cloud,

and the Rings of Saturn that can spin like a dancing monkey.

I’ll take the taste of

sweet, shiny, red, fresh, sparkly, mythical, yummy strawberries,

and a tiger-carrot, shaped like a horse cantering over a tree.
