Dear Mum,

Thanks for the apple even though I accidentally dropped it.It was a nice snack. I played with my yo-yoyo until we arrived . There was so much green and deer. It was so magical.

 

Staying with Miss Possible, she is so nice. Most of the food is home grown, but there were only a few parsnips. So for lunch I had to steal vegetables.

 

I have a little room , but it’s enough. It has some ancient dust ( which dwells under the bed). Miss Possible lets me go in the sea every Saturday.After,I’ve done various chores.

 

At school, they make us pray forty times a day so we win the war. Then, I thought what would happen if we loose the war?

 

I hope Dad beats Hittler soon and you and Tom are ok . Please write back .

The Wreckage

In an ocean

dark as midnight

lays a wreckage

which is a site.

 

The hull is a pool of death,

skeletons of sailors and captains

laying in wait to drag boats.

 

The sails

ripped long ago

in the  storm of stars

which led the sailors to their demise.

 

The mast snapped

like a stick

when the meteor

destroyed it.

 

The tiller use

to shine as

bright as a

silver star

in the night sky.

 

The cabin

caved in years ago

now fish and eels of silver

live in the cracks.

 

The portholes

are guarded

by twinkling albino

lemon sharks.

 

The nets

tried to swim

away but

got pulled back.

 

The disastrous dangerous deck

got demolished by a whale

which sent giant waves

which destroyed more boats.

 

To use cohesion and a range of different devices

Early one morning, polly and her friends were in a cave. Until suddenly ,they heard walking. They froze in shock as the walking came towards them quicker than ever. It was there … in front of them. All of them screamed in shock. As they screamed they all ran as fast as they could. However as they ran so did it. When they came out they went home and talked. They didn’t want to tell mom.

Using adverbials

At 5 am the car accelerated  towards Bournemouth, drove round the corner swiftly, and came to a halt by getting a speeding ticket.

Suddenly, the dragon landed on the castle, crawled towards the school curiously and paused immediately.

At 2pm, the starship hovered over the car, and aimed the laser beams shockingly and fired quickly.

Using conjunctions

Bob ran down the road but,He fell over.

The thunder roared as, the hobbit hid.

Bilbo slept in a cave because, the goblins attacked.

The cart came to a wheezing halt When, Gandalf strode onto the hobbit hole.

Jim was interested in the idea although, called his friend.

Owls are nocturnal and, this means that they are active in night and have excellent eyesight.

 

Outside inside

Outside, the thunder storm rumbled the town. Inside, a heater flamed up and we all panicked.

Outside, there was a blizzard that covered everything. Inside, the hot water bottle ran out instantly.

Outside, it was a heat wave that struck the city. Inside the cooler broke annoyingly.

Mr Hardy

As soon as happy-faced Mr Hardy skipped into class seven,the familiar room immediately appeared to turn cheerful.He was thin with a lovely and joyful stare rather like an kid on a trampoline.’Calm down children,‘whispered the new Teacher,‘I’m happy for a little bit of talking.’
