As Captain Cullpepper barked her orders, the engines roared. Pier pulls in the anchor and Paige watches the steam rise.

Suddenly, one of the whales fluke hooked onto the anchor. This wasn’t noticed till it was on the ship. While the Captain tried to get that one space whale off,more tore through the clouds and fell down to the ship’s sole. Pier shouted” Captain, more of them are coming.” Slowly, ten more fell down to the floor.Their fins hit the side of the rose and made dents in the metal and wood.Paige felt the space whale’s smooth,slimy skin brush her shoulder.

As Paige wipes the green goop off her shoulder the captain and two other crew members get surrounded by five of the space whales. Terrified, Pier ran to the captain trying to lift one of them away from the circle.He saw one of the crew members’ trousers were covered in slime from the space whale. Paige heard a scream as another whale fell down.

It was Pier, one of their flukes, which is as sharp as broken glass, hit his right cheek. The scarlet jewel falls out of his pocket and into the sun. He tried to grab it again but it was already collecting heat and was too hot to hold. All of a sudden, it makes a wave of energy and the whales fall into the ocean.Quickly, the captain ran to the edge of the rose and watched them fall back down.

The sole had been ripped up and several people had been taken to hospital to bandage their arms or legs. Pier and Paige sat on their balcony watching the cyan sea and reading a book. Paige found a page that described the seven jewels when she noticed that the scarlet jewel was on there. 

“Pier look at this!”Paige told him. 

The seven jewels :the scarlet jewel (that is the least powerful), the pumpkin jewel, the dandelion jewel, jade jewel, arctic jewel, the lavender jewel and last but not least the lilac jewel -which is the most powerful jewel to exsit.Pier replied to Paige “That would be a fun adventure.”

Where will they go next?

As Pier walked through the doors, Captain Culpepper was already barking her commands,” You there go collect clean water. And you find some actual food.”

She turned to Pier (who was still rubbing his eyes)and said “Boy stop standing around and go collect firewood”

Embarrassed, Pier stumbles out to the forest. His heart settled and he began scanning the floor for dry logs. Evanthough, he didn’t like going into the forest, he enjoyed being alone. Pier started to think about last night. Could Mr wigglesmith still be alive?

As he picked up the last piece of firewood, a thought bee, which was a blue and brown bee, landed on Piers’ shoulder. Pier heard a whisper, “Come with me- it is safe.”  Slowly, he followed the bee to a cave but it looked like a bee hive. 

Scared, Pier walked into the cave. Inside he found Paige sitting in a corner calmly eating. Paige slowly walked over.Quietly, the bee told them the space whales were coming. After that, they followed the bee to a scarlett jewel. Carefully, they took the jewel to the edge of the island to warn the others. 

“Captain we can not stay here any longer the space whales are coming!”Paige screamed. Quickly, they packed up and the engine roared to life.

But it was too late…

A few weeks later, they flew through heavy snow, hail and rain. The rain made it hard to see through the windscreen. One morning, they woke up to the sun shining like a white eye. Pier and Paige ran to the deck with a map in Paige’s left hand.What they saw brang them joy. While pointing at the map Paige said, “ There’s Enchanted cove.”

While watching the waves Captain Culpepper found something unusual. “ Pier, Paige can you see what that is?”she said curiously. It was a wreckage of a smaller sky ship. The sky ship was in a pond. Had Mr Wigglesmith landed here?

As the engines quickly came to silence, Pier got ready to run to the remains of the sky ship. Landing with a thud they all get off. Slightly queasy Pier started to explore the island.

The first thing they saw were hammocks in between palm trees. In the distance, the sky thundered and the clouds darkened. Along the ponds brightly coloured shells wait. Above them palm trees waved and sand flew.

Slowly they walk into the wreckage. Inside they found a deceased body with a map in its hand. After taking it from the womens hand Paige opened it cautiously to find the initials WS in the top right corner. They carefully find their way out deciding whether to set up camp or to leave. They decided to stay.

Finishing setting up camp Paige saw a shadow behind a bush. It was something large with bright green eyes. Suddenly a branch snapped and the shadow moved forward. Paige moved back imagining the worst.

Dear Captain Culpepper,

I am writing to you today to apply for the crewmember job on the Aurora.  I hope you have a position for a well mannered and talented girl such as myself. I cherish the Aurora and will always give 110% for it to succeed in its path.

First, I am fully trained at first aid and recently finished my YFAs ( Youth First Aid exams). This means after long fights with sky-dragons, I can assist my hurt colleagues. 

Secondly, I am hygienic, keeping myself and my surroundings clean is important; this will prevent myself and others from getting sick. If illness spreads through the sky ship then our journey will be unable to carry on.

Furthermore, I am a weapons master; as a result, when your weapon breaks during a battle it will be ready five minutes later. If we get attacked by the deadly creatures, which fly high  in the sky, I’ll be able to sharpen rusty swords in minutes allowing the Aurora to carry on its adventure.

Please consider letting me join the sky-ship. I Am an excellent nurse,who is always hygienic and a fabulous weapons master.

Catch a firefly,

and travel with it to the well of wonders,

Ask a leprechaun,

Stand in front of the miserable sparrow,

Its smooth flight points the way,

To the explorer hiding in pain.

On the Island of Diamonds,

I captured beautiful bold butterflies,

Leaping through sky gliders,

As happy as children on christmas morning.

On the Rose Island,

I noticed rose petals,

Leading you to a place you can only imagine,

where a box and a picture of them in love was waiting.

On the Island of Horror,

I discovered blood-suckers,

Hunting 

animals waiting for them to stop 

They’re as dangerous as a Bodacious bull.

On the Daffodil Island 

I found ducklings 

Hatching out their warm shells 

Surprised at seeing the stars shine for the first time.

On the Island of Snow 

I felt snow falling down 

Landing softly on my shoulder

Like fluffy cotton in a pillow.

What to do if you meet an alien.

First, make a safe distance (6 metres) between you and the alien. As a result the alien will be less scared and happy to talk.

After that, check to see if it is an alien or just a dressed up child. So that you do not upset a child on their birthday. Look for the following features: green shiny skin with pink dots on the hands and neck; six eyes, two of them on antennas and the other four in a triangle shape on the forehead; eight arms and three legs. Next provide the alien with water, cheese and strawberries. Whatever you do,do not feed it cake.

Then provide the alien with a thoughtful gift if you do not have one give them something shiny. This causes them to trust you, the way they will show their trust in you is by walking towards you after this happens will be 1 metre away from it.

Finally, build a replica of its home so that it can have a place like home till the mothership finds a way to get back to Earth.

So if an alien attack ever occurs you know how to stay safe. Just remember distance, food and a shiny gift.

Dear Flasher,

                     I am writing to persuade you to retire from your  superhero life and return to your life before. I believe that you should let the professionals handle the criminals. Please read on  to find out the reasons for why you should find a new job.

My first point is that you only have one ability and that is to run quickly. This power is useless when you are fighting crime and you mostly run too far because you can not stop easily. What is the point of fighting crime if you can not stop in time?

Furthermore, I Am concerned that you are getting a lot older. This should suggest that you should take some time to rest and spend time with family.

To build on this concern, people around your age start to get worse health and bones. I am worried for your health because you use so much energy  while running fast that you can not walk after missions.

Although some people suggest that you are one of the best, we believe that you scare children with your speed especially since you have nearly hurt someone. This is not what a superhero would do.

To summarise, you are not helping our town when you are running because you can not stop in front of criminals and if you do stop them they are hurt and need serious medical attention. If I were you, I would retire before embarrassing myself more. I am sure that you love your current job but you  could get the same satisfaction from something else.
