How to look after your pet troll by Cristian – Red Oaks

The most asked question about trolls is what are they? A troll is a being in Scandinavian folklore, including Norse mythology. In Old Norse sources, beings described as trolls’ dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves, live together in small family units. I know what you’re thinking… Aren’t trolls’ mythical creatures?! Well recently Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz (yes from Phineas and Ferb) discovered that the species is actually real! Trolls have gotten viral everywhere and are now a casual home pet! But since they are a new and not really a studied species we wonder what habitat and food is suitable for them. Well me and my partners have been studying their peculiar ways and have discovered it all! The column bellow is a list of things that would keep your pet troll happy!

  • Lots of love since its in their infant age; I would suggest stroking it at least 20 times a day
  • We studied their taste buds and the healthiest and yummiest food to give is Heinz Beans because it gives them lots of energy and helps their heart. Cation don’t let it have any other foods that Heinz Beans because they can be poisonous and hurt your troll.
  • A soft pillow! This is all you need for it to sleep. You may not believe it, but it will curl up into a little ball and sleep before its head touches the pillow!
  • And lastly a little toy to keep it entertained!

What to do:

Firstly, when you get your troll you need decide a small space where it would be happy and keep it in an area not near windows so it can’t escape and risk being in danger!

Next provide the troll some jewellery so it can earn your trust! Then you’re ready to take care of it. The next day your troll should be up and ready to start the day! If its still sleeping you shouldn’t give it as much beans you gave it the other day. This is because it sleeps more when it eats more. When its awake it will be trying to tell you something. If it’s giving you a thumbs up it means they are feeling great and they love their new home! If it’s waving their arms like its crazy it means its VERY hungry and I was suggest immediate food! If they are shaking their behinds… THEY NEED THE TOILET! If they are doing any other symbols or actions please tell us and we will decode what it means and update this report.

After that, take it outside in your garden/nearest park and make sure it goes nowhere NEAR any other animals because they are new to the world and may attack and hurt to defend itself.

Sooner or later your troll will be smashing its head against the wall; this means its bored. You will need to give it a toy of your choice but if it still bangs its head on the wall my best solution is to take it outside and play catch.

Finally, your troll will be exhausted and it will go to its pillow and sleep! You have successfully completed the day. If its still awake take it on another walk and that should do it!

More actions that your troll will do

  • If your troll is waving his head like a Rockstar this means it wants to listen to music
  • If your troll is scratching it ears this means it needs water
  • If your troll is licking everything it needs to eat
  • If your troll is following everywhere you go it wants to be stroked
  • If your troll is constantly blinking it is tired and you need to put it to bed
  • If your troll is taking out strands of its own hair it is anxious and needs a stroke
  • If your troll is rubbing the back of its head, it doesn’t have your trust and you should give it more jewellery to gain its trust
  • If your troll is constantly trying to hurt itself send it back the pet store immediately because it is not happy with its house/sleep area
  • If your troll is constantly jumping you should take it on vacation because it is EXTREMELY BORED!

What NOT to do

  • Never hurt/abuse your troll
  • Never shout because it will be scared of you
  • Never give it chocolate this will poison it
  • Never let it hurt other animals it can do a lot of damage
  • Try to not cry and sob in front of your troll because they are very sensitive and emotional
  • Never give them to a babysitter/nursery otherwise they will get attached to the person who looks after them the most
  • Never stroke any other animals in front of them because they will think you are abandoning/leaving them for another animal
  • Once you get your troll NEVER EVER release it back into the wild because they are used to being given what they need and they are most likely to die

What if your troll dies?

This is a sad moment everybody experiences in life, nobody likes it but you have to accept it. It will be a sad couple of weeks for you so I would suggest you to stay away from work/school and have some time for yourself. Watch a movie or think about the happy times you have had with your troll and be glad you have had a chance to share those moments with it. When your ready, begin a new chapter in your life and buy a new troll. Many people believe that you are replacing your pet, but you are just making yourself happy.

I hope this text helped you have great experiences with your troll! Please tell us anything else you want to know about the peculiar new species, trolls! I have had a very good time experimenting with these creatures. I hope I have told you everything you need to know to look after your pet troll!

What are…?

What are…? By Cristian – Red Oaks

What are heavy? A red rock riding a ragged rat riding a raiding raven riding a reasonable rabbit riding a roaring racoon riding a running reindeer.

What are tiny? A wowing whale willing to be shrunk by gru’s shrink ray.

What are yummy? A big baggy baguette bawling in my tummy.

I HAVE NEVER… by Cristian Busan Red Oaks

I HAVE NEVER by Cristian Busan Red Oaks

I have never been to Paris,

But I have ate a baguette.

I have never caught the glamorous, soft skin of a Great White Shark,

But I have caught the scales of a carp.

I have never felt the smooth ocean brush between my ear’s as I swim to the bottom of the sea,

But I have swam to the bottom of a 2-metre deep pool.

I have never seen a beehive,

But I have watched the bee movie.
