i have never … but i have…

I have never been in a swimming compotition but I have been in a race in school.

I have never seen a lion before but I have seen my black and white cat.

I have never drove a car but I have rode my bike.

I have never rode a unicorn but I do ride a horse every week.

I have never  been to a water park but I have been to the park down the road from hear

I have never seen a narwhale but I have seen a picture of a whale.

I have never listened to a whale cry but I have heard my niece cry in the night.

I have never been to mount Everest but I have been to a sky slope on my friends birthday.

You are a grey mouse

scurrying across the broken floorboards

trying to get to your tiny home.

hidden behind towering trees.

of crunchy, crispy grass,

You are a wallowing hippo,
submerged in the bustling watering hole
nose emerging like the tip of an iceberg,

You are the savannah,
sun-kissed land
shimmering in the setting sun.

Dragon Hunters

The sky dragon

The sky dragon a fierce dragon, its claws as pointy as a witches hat with azure blues and snowy patches. It lives in the sky as its name is like that but don’t come up close to it or you will be coming home with three fingers. It trampes over everything on its path you may have to run away if you see one you might have to run away. You might be thinking but these must be very rare creatures so how can I possibly run into one? That is quite the opposite well you wouldn’t see one walking in the streets, but they do come down to earth regularly more to the country side, where no one can possibly disturb them unless you love nature and live by there or go on family walks and… you get the point but remember never go near a sky dragon.

Are you a fast, courageous dragon hunter, if you are then you have to help us! The sky dragon is on the run and soon if we don’t do anything to stop it…then our town will all be ashes, destroyed,  ruins of houses filled with slime. We need you to help! 

If you stop the sky dragon then not only will you get a gold medal from the queen but you will be a millionaire not even that maybe even a billionaire. With that you will also get free English breakfasts for the rest of your life. Remember you have to stop the dragon for that, if you don’t stop it and it flys away then we would be dead and even if you survive then no one else will and no one would be able give you free breakfasts so you have to stop THE SKY DRAGON!!

All night long the thunder roared, Zoe was shivering with fright, even though nothing would get her she was still scared. Zoe ran through the fields, thump…thump… thump, something was following her she started to run faster and faster, not daring to look back, thump thump, thump, crash! Zoe immediately turned over to see and…-thump, thump thump another one came and another. She curled up into a ball, her skin tightly wrapping around her and, nothing came they all disappeared;she toddled off and ran through the fields again and then- thump… thump…thump, she saw a row of red eyes glaring at her, a squirming rat sped off and..she was alone,with them.

Gary

Gary stumbled through the forest trying to get to his scavenger camp which he was late for again. When he finally got there his guide wasn’t mad but asked Gary to try not to be late again like the last few times. “I will try not to be late again” reasured Gary.

“Do you know were Bob is?” questioned the guide

“No miss” replied Gary.

Gary walked into the camp space and sat down to join the lesson

All of a sudden, Bob ran into the room and said “sorry i’m late miss.”

“That’s ok” replied the guide

Bob sat down next to Gary and they started chatting straight away. They got told off a few times and Bob stopped talking because he didn’t want to get told of again but Gary didn’t care and kept on talking.

Bob told Gary to stop talking and he did. Then Lina looked there way.
