The dream

A few hours later, they were back In the air on the skyship. The wind was calm and the sunset made it feel like heaven. Caleb had fed the tiger some milk and it was now asleep on Maya’s lap.

Emilia peered over the railing, curios of what was below.

The sun cast a warm light off the clouds making her feel safe. “ Do you miss home?” Maya asked Caleb, stroking the tigers head gently.“ Yeah, but we will get home eventually, I know it”  he said.

Suddenly, a scratching noise could be heard, coming from the side of the ship. Caleb knew this wasn’t a normal sound. “ Guys… that’s not a normal sound and I think I can hear like a… lullaby. That’s not good, come on let’s go to the storage room!” Shouted Caleb, rushing to the entrance. They crouched in a dark corner, holding their breath. Caleb sat in the darkness, not daring to make a sound.

The air became thinner as two, pale arms emerged from the entrance. A white, deranged, huminoised figure rose from the darkness. One of the pale arms reached out towards Caleb and the figures smile got wider.

The triplets suddenly woke up in there bed at home and thought it was all a dream but they realised… the sky tiger was on the bed with them.

The Golden Bird chapter 2

Chapter 2

Anna stared at the Golden Bird as the steering wheel       dropped to the floor and a tear fell from her eye. In front of her, Jack struggled to get out from under his parachute but once he did he ran over to make sure Anna wasn’t hurt. Drowned from head to toe, with no shelter other than a palm tree that sat above them, they did not have the best shelter. As they had lost their crew, they would have to do all the hunting in the dark, wet and damp forest by themselves.

As Anna wandered through the trees, she spotted a cave. Walking towards it, she heard noises. Vines were covering it but the light still managed to shine through. Anna saw three things: a white spider the size of a mouse scuttling to the other side of the cave, the bright sun blinding her and a bottle of water lying on the ground half empty. It was like someone had been there before them.

Anna peered round the edge of the cave to see a beautiful deserted beach. It was as if the storm had just disappeared and the sea had recovered; the water was the clearest Anna had ever seen it. She ran back as fast as she could, jumping over twigs, determined to find Jack and tell him what she had seen. After running for about five minutes she found him, his arms were filled with supplies to make a shelter.

A couple of minutes later, Anna and Jack reached the cave. Out of breath they fell onto the hot sand. Jack looked around in amazement and shock, but Anna sprinted to a small waterfall to fill up their bottles. In no time at all, they were gulping down water. The palm trees swayed in the soft wind and the turquoise sea lapped the hot sandy shore. After some time admiring the tropical beach, Jack and Anna started walking back to the Golden Bird. The sun was about to set and they still had no shelter. It looked like they were going to be sleeping under the palm trees tonight with parachutes as blankets. Jack lay down to try and make himself comfortable, whilst Anna was in her own world, wondering what might get thrown at them next in their sky ship adventure.

You are…

You are the start.

You are like London, never quiet, never resting.

You are the colour of blood on crisp white snow.

You are like a Calico cat sleeping, silently on it’s fluffy, pink bed.

You are the echo of a silent scream.

You are a jaguar, trying to find your next victim.

You are like string beans, nobody likes them but they are just laying there on the plate.

You are a red marble floating helplessly in space.

You are my heart, bringing everyone joy.

You are on and off, something and nothing, good and bad.

You are infinity, always there by my side.

You are a lost memory, never going to be remembered again.

You are the end.

Dragon poem

Dragon Poem

The dragon’s eyes glistened

in the red sunset as he scuttled

to the edge of the

grassy cliff,

His spikes as sharp as knives

scattered down his neck and onto

his back.

Soaring through the air,

His wings guide him,

weaving past rocks and islands.

He stands with confidence

and ease with his

emerald spikes held high.

He is the protector of his

village from murderous enemies,

He is the champion of dragons.

Rugby

You are the metal studs screaming

as they hit the gravel path,

You are the mud on the

children’s faces as they fall to

the ground,

You are the cookies that bring a

smile after they’ve won or lost,

You are the tears in my eyes

Like a leak in the ceiling,

You are the ball flying through

the air preparing for a hard land,

You are the bruise on my leg turning as

purple as a plum as seconds go by,

you bring me joy to the sport!

Yellow mask

I wore a yellow mask and saw the beautiful sun shimmering ,a faded yellow sun ray reflecting of the water’s surface, one buttercup lonely in a field and a golden strip upon the sky.

Formality

Dear sir,

I, am writing to you today to inform you about the upcoming events on the local Callander. There are some great things in the pipeline.

First, there will be a procession throughout the town, consisting of a wide variety of contributions. Anyone involved must take good not to get in the way of the horde or there will be an almighty row. The mayor will judge the best baby competition. While that’s going on , you could get your self down to a nice meal and take a rest.

After that, there will be a dance  display in the town square. If your watching ,please watch  out of the way so you don’t get hurt. The market will be open afternoon.

Finally, the firework display will be held in the prince’s park at precisely six. We hope you have an amazing time.

Yours, faithfully

“I will grant you two wishes so choose wisely!”exclaimed the old lady.

”I will,” she said. Polly said her last goodbye and ran home. Thunder boomed and rain pelted. Once she got home she slammed the door and ran upstairs into her bedroom. After an eternity, she finally knew what she wanted. “I wish that I could be so rich I could be a billionaire,” she shouted across the room. Nothing happened. The next day she was in another world. Her bed wasn’t broken ; it was massive and had a soft quilt laid neatly over her. Her room smelled of roses. Suddenly a knock on the door. Who was it?

Suspense paragraph

It was nearly here. I grabbed my book, torch and the last pieces of bread in my cupboard. I could hear it coming closer. It sounded like a range of things:waves crashing against the cliffs ;a herd of wild beasts stampeding. Suddenly the house descended down; nothing could be seen. Then I saw it. As I closed my eyes I soon reached the/long distance bottom of the ocean.

The bus stopped as the old lady crossed the road.

He made his way to the house because there was a raging storm outside.

He sat down at the table even though the seat was wet.

As he waited for them to arrive, the sun shone in his face.

Although the storm blew, he walked his dog across the park.

Before he sat down at the table, he played tag with is best friends.
