Cheetah

The sky was foggy and grey on a not normal 8pm evening. Rain was pouring down and lighting shot  from heaven above. Maya was franticly  scrambling into a abandoned building, searching for somewhere to hide. There were medical books, old surgery equipment and old, stained beds. It looked like a hospital. To her horror she could just make out that the windows were barred and the only exit was the one she’d  came in from. She was trapped.

The man approached from behind her. Something glinting in his hand… a knife. 

At that moment they heard  a growling noise. Maya looked up and saw two pools of liquid golden fire. It leaped out of the darkness, threw its head back and roared . A coat of dotted fur she could see. What was it?

Adverbials

Suddenly, the car accelerated at Bournemouth town, drove around the corner quickly , and came to a halt at primary reversing into a space.

2 seconds later the dragon landed on the dust coated floor, crawled to the school in excitement, and paused at a child as its nostrils flared with smoke.

3 hours later, the starship hovered over earth, aimed its laser beams suddenly and fired straight ahead.

It was a stormy afternoon in November. The thunder crashed and shook the ground of the high hill on which stood Llantrisant. The only illumination was from the flashes of lightning, casting shadows on the desolate houses. Iris hugged her fleece coat towards her and shook with the cold. The torrential rain thrashed down on the ruined buildings. At the bottom of the hill, the Corner shop had been abandoned long ago. Apart from thunder, the streets were shrouded in an eerie silence.

Using conjunctions

Bob ran down the road even though he fell over. The cart came to a wheezing halt after Gandalf strode into the hobbit hole . As the thunder roared the hobbits hid. Jim was interested in the idea so he rang his friend. When Bilbo was asleep the goblins attacked . Owls are nocturnal so that means they are active at night as the have excellent eyesight.

Mr Hardy

As soon as happy-faced Mr Hardy skipped into classroom seven, the enjoyable class immediately appeared bright like a diamond glistening in the morning light. He was excited with a happy smile rather like a happy cat. “Settle down children,”he whispered softly,”I’m so excited to teach you today.”.

What are loud?

A blue Iceberg melting,

A hungry angry dog and an

Exploding old volcano.

What are shiny?

The gleaming sun at sun rise,

A perfect sparkling dimond and

leather black pants reflecting of a mirror.

What is soft?

A big cuddy teddy,

A new cute puppy fur and a

A grey fleece blanket.

What is small?

A sharp pencil led,

A blue crunchy bean bag and a

Green pea.

The glamourous eye

Mariana had found a hole in the ship and it was just the right size for the baby dragon. As soon as Mariana had placed the dragon down, she went and got a book of dragons. Flicking through the pages she discovered that it was a Shimmery glimmer dragon. It was a rare species and this apparently was one of the only kind of its species left. They had to take proper care of it. It was night fall and that meant they had to get to bed or Captain Hernandez would make them do more work. Luckily, Mariana had made a lid with a hole in it for the dragon, so it didn’t escape.

Without any warning, the twins heard a scrape at the side of the ship. Ty screamed and then the Captain came and said what are you two doing hiding under the table. They told him about what they had heard and then he said you must be hearing things. Captain Hernandez sent them both to bed and then went to bed himself. Ty went into his part of the ship and peered out of the window. There was a huge eye glaring at him right in the eye. The eye was green and had a tint of ocean blue in it. He screamed. It woke the whole ship up. In the end they found out that it just wanted its baby back. So, they threw the baby out of the window and the mother caught it. Then they slowly glided away in to the sunset. After that, they never and I say never came in contact with a dragon again.

A new crew member

Suddenly, Ty and Mariana heard a deafening, screeching noise.

‘’What in the name of the world is that?’’ said Captain Hernandez. The twins peered over the side of the ship.

Ty whispered, ’’I can’t see anything, can you?’’

‘’I can see something, it’s tucked below the wing,’ Mariana replied. She clambered down the ladders to get a better look at this mysterious thing. She went further down the path until a cloud of dust had made her difficult to see. Then suddenly, a call came from Mariana, ‘’OH GOSH IT’S A BABY DRAGON.’’ Ty, whose smile was wider than the ocean, sprinted to the Captain’s quarters to pick up pair of gloves to handle the dragon. He came back with a pair of the gloves (The Captain’s gloves) even though the Captain was right behind him and shouting ‘give me my gloves back, I got them for my 58th birthday,’ Ty didn’t care even if he is scared of him, he knew he was going to be punished for this but then he thought to himself ‘a dragon is more important than a pair of gloves. He was right. Mariana, whose eyes were fixated on the dragon, carefully picked it up. Then she politely asked Ty to get her a blanket for the dragon. But they didn’t know that this was the dragon that’s mother knocked them out of the sky and it also had special power of invisibility and ice powers I wonder what is going to happen next…?
