The disaster lake

The river steam travelled through the dark forest but there was one tree that everyone avoided. Along the riverbank steam brushes past this crooked tree. You have three options: walk past the tree and swim through the dangerous river; turn the other way and head somewhere else or step near the tree and disappear for life… The river – which was used for travelling across the Alantic ocean – was too dangerous.

                                           Summers Day

I want to paint –

The ocean crashing against the shore with the sun gleaming brightly behind it ,

A red rose sprouting out on a massive field on a summers day ,

The sound of horses hooves clicking on the ground as they trot by on the rocky road ,

Some small mythical creatures hiding and playing in the forgotten abandoned woods .

I want to paint –

Glistening snow drops swaying in the gentle breeze as a majestic white horse trots on the soft snow ,

Magical fairies prancing around on soft woolly cotton  clouds ,

Emotions passing by as they wash away the sadness in the air ,

The magnificent Moon glistening on the Earth ,

I want to paint –

Dreams passing by in my mind even though my nightmares ruin it ,

A spinning storm crashing down destroying everything it sees ,

Pieces of Jewellery like an ocean colour looking diamond in a jewellery shop ,

The taste of sweet , juicy apple being eaten ,

The fire at the bonfire night when I am munching and chomping on my marshmallows .

I want to paint the whole world and the wonderful people on it .

Ocean Goblins

Tuesday 21st September

                              Ocean Goblins

Ocean goblins are very rare to find because they are very shy and only come out of the water in winter when all humans are gone .

The ocean goblins wear seaweed for clothes but change seaweed every month. They change it every month because it starts to die . They also have big long ears to listen out for humans close by . However, after their 100th birthday their ears start to shrink .

They live in the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean to get away from humans because humans hunt them down making them endangered . They like to call the Titanic their home to hide from predators : humans, sharks and whales .

Ocean goblins eat other fish and also eat broken parts of boats and sharks . Even though, sharks are their predators they trap them with bait to bribe them and attack them with pieces of the boat .

Surprisingly, they don’t like hammerhead sharks and pufferfish . They find these two creatures scary and never want to go near them . Nobody knows why they don’t like them when they like other fish and sharks .

Please come to help these creatures and if you visit the Titanic  don’t destroy their home and keep them safe . If you want to help them support us we are called save hurt creatures so please support us.

Violletta Firth Continued

As the twins stared out of the porthole in anxiety they could hear the canopy scratching the ship’s bottom with its spines, but that’s not what they were looking at, oh no, they were looking at something much better. Graceful, glowing unicorns with elegant angel wings were dipping in and out of the trees doing what looked like a type of weird dance routine.

They couldn’t believe it, it was impossible to, they refused to believe that their eyes had just been set upon flying unicorns. Without thought Mack rushed to grab his journal but, luckily Molly grabbed his arm. “Mack! We’re not safe yet. The engines could blow up any minute. We’ve got to stay put until Sheila lands!” she shrieked wrestling with the ropes.

I know sis!” he replied. He tried to sound natural but his voice was shaky with fear.

Out of the blue, the ship roared and shock terribly. Desperately scrambling with the latch, Molly flung her head out of the porthole and threw up. But it wasn’t over yet, oh no, it had just begun…

As quick as lightning, the ship shot down like a bomb and landed with an almighty clatter as splinters flew up and dust swirled in their faces, tickling their noises. Coughing and spluttering, they listened for the engines but all was silent…

Violletta Firth – Part 3

A thought struck Mack like a lightning bolt,” Molly, let’s explore the jungle!” he exclaimed in excitement and was overwhelmed by the fact of all the snakes and critters he thought might be lurking inside but Molly shuddered at the thought of all those dangerous animals and creepy-crawlies she thought might be hiding inside,

“Mack! We can’t just go wondering and if we’re in the forever forest like I think we are we might meet a poisonous Snoth; if you don’t know what a Snoth is, then look it up in the dictionary. Oh no, you’ve never opened a dictionary in your life. You were just stuck up watching that silly Steve Backshall, like he’s going to teach you anything!” she shouted annoyance.

“Cool, I want to meet a Snoth! I could sketch one in my journal.” he replied with enthusiasm, ignoring his sister’s frustration. Molly groaned, Mack always snatched up a chance to prove he was the bravest, even when he was at an animal party, when he was only four, he volunteered to hold python. He had never cared for the facts. “Typical.” she thought just typical but then she always had to hold him back when he got carried away and yet never got a mention of thanks. Sometimes she thought, sometimes, it felt like they had nothing in common at all, but she knew too well the one thing that tied them together and they could both relate to was their love of an adventure.

Violletta Firth’s adventures

Prelude

Imagine sitting on the sunny deck of a sky-ship, relaxing on a sun lounger, the cool breeze tickling your toes and down below is a peaceful lake with only one disturbance, some elegant swans arching their necks into a heart.

On the other hand, erm hello? STOP SNOOZING! …….

Right, on the other hand if you took a trip at the opposite time of year you would get the opposite effect, I would advise you not to go sun-bathing in your sun-glasses and bikini with the raging waves below and thunder clouds above as you might well catch hyperthermia.

Mysteriously, adventurers have trekked up Point-Rock mountains and reached the mist at the top and vanished. The legend has it that mountain pixies kidnap the unfortunate explorers and turn them into mountain goats and some say they heard their shrilly, goaty calls.

Violletta Firth

Molly and Mack’s mouths gaped open in horror as the mountain dragons appeared at of the mist. The twins had been travelling north towards Point-Rock Mountains and beyond, along with their fellow crew mate captain and ship doctor, Sheila. The vessel they were travelling on was called Viollettta Firth and had an unusual feature, she was no ordinary ship…she was a sky-ship!

There was an ear-drum bursting ‘hiss’ as one of the dragon’s fireballs collided with one of the engines and air seeped out of the supply tank. “Hold on!” Sheila bellowed over the noise, “We’re going to go down if we don’t land, you two get down the hatches!”

Bbbu…” Mack protested but she cut him of,

No buts, get below deck and grab onto something solid!”

The twins scrambled down through the hatch and down the ladder.

Grab onto the hammock support ropes!” Molly cried.

They gripped on so tight the ropes burned but still they hung on, they prayed Sheila would be able to land the ship safely and the dragons would retreat. Just like in movies, Violletta Firth made a stomach-churning lurch to the side and the hammocks swung wildly, dragging, Molly and Mack with them as though they were their prisoners.
