I never have

I have never travelled through Antarctica’s snowy mountains

but I have walked over a grassy hill.

I have never spotted a bird making eggs in the winter

but I have seen a luscious bird shedding it’s feathers.

I have never jumped over a freezing cold mountain

but I have jumped over a bright red hurdle.

I have never swam a thousand meters

but I have swan in the shimmering ocean.

I have never ate a person

but I have ate sushi in Greece

STORM

The storm tossed and turned the ship as Ty’s skin turned pail white with his fists clenching on a bar in the captains cabin, basically all of the other rooms had been flooded Now Ty’s red fiery hair felt a cold, wet drip and suddenly a bunch of water plunged down onto Ty and I bet your thinking why cant Ty just swim he has legs doesn’t he? Well that’s the problem he only has one leg but he heard a noise but then it went away so Ty started weeping and salty tears dripped down his face and he was at the roof and he was nearly out of breath but he wiped his tears because ne heard the noise again and a float dropped down and without hesitation he grabbed it and made it out alive and unharmed.

terrible person

You are the snapping jaws of an grass, green alligator.

You are as big as a massive hippo like a cold sack of water.

You re as hot as dragons breath as hot as a pot on a stove full with rose red blood.

You are the taste of hazel nut chocolate with lava and plane glass.

You are the smell of rotten purple plums with white daisy petals scattered on them.

You are the sound of a possum getting burnt by the toxic acid that you breathe out.

When I Was Out Walking

                     When I Was Out Walking…

When I was out walking,

I met a girl named Cat.

She had ears as pointed as the pyramids.

She was always alert.

I met a man named Peacock.

He had a beak as sharp as a tent peg.

He had eyes as smooth as the surface of a pond and

vibrant feathers that he flashed from side to side

as though he was fanning someone.

I met a woman named Snow Leopard.

She had sapphire-blue eyes that were deep and mysterious

but still twinkled with the joy, understanding and

fun of being a feline. She had a tail as long as an anaconda

and markings that made her look as if she had won

hundreds of rosettes.

I met a girl named Jaguar.

She was strong as a dump truck and had

muscles that rippled under her beautiful,

golden spotted coat that gleamed in the sun.

She glided through the water, illuminous gold

against clear liquid and sunk her fangs into the armoured plates of a crocodile!

I met a woman named Tree.

She was 20 feet tall and had oak-brown hair with a tinge of green,

that was rough as tree bark.

She had a little nest of baby ********

that lived there and chirped all day.

I met a man named Thought.

He was hunched as a question mark

and had eyes as definite as a full stop.

I met a girl named Fish.

She had scintillating, chintz scales

that reflected dancing rainbow light.

She had round, glazed eyes that

have seen horrific things, such as

humans dragging their long, death-nets

through the sea towards the frantic, flitting, fish,

as the waves roared in protest.

I met Life.

Everything from the first

breath of a tiny new born kitten

to a tidal wave and a tornado.

Life is the centre of attention,

sprawling on the earth and being

selfish.

But then, what would we do without it?

The Beautiful Land of Contrast

The Beautiful Land of Contrast.

In the land of Contrast,

The unicorns puff out long spirals

of smoke and fire that lick greedily at the night sky.

Whilst alongside them, the

dragons sprout glittering horns.

In the land of Contrast,

Mice chase cats and cats chase dogs!

Everything is crazy!

In the land of Contrast,

The peacock mantis shrimps

scuttle up vast pure-white mountains,

enjoying the cold as they search

with their complex eyes for a juicy mountain goat or two.

In the land of Contrast,

The ghost cats lash their long fluffy tails in

disgust at the mention of mountain goat,

but they would really love a crab or two

to eat as they arch their backs and curl their

tails in a long stretch.

They really do love the sun.

In the land of Contrast,

Palm trees sigh in delight

as the freezing snow perches lightly

on their leaves and the ice coats their

roots.

In the land of Contrast,

The female lions shake their long

shaggy manes proudly and roar at

the male lions who stare longingly at their

impressive hair-styles.

In the land of Contrast,

Elephants sprout humongous wings

and soar off into the sky as the birds

all sit on the ground below, their long trunks

waving farewell.

In the land of Contrast,

The giant sky is illuminous yellow and shines

as brightly as a torch.

In the land of Contrast,

The clouds in the bright yellow sky

are a sparkling rainbow colour,

but the rainbows are fluffy and white,

so they stand out against the dazzling sky.

In the land of Contrast,

The dolphins have razor sharp teeth and

don’t like people, but the sharks are

friendly and small and only eat little fish.

In the land of Contrast,

All of the humans are kind,

And pick up litter and never hurt other animals.

In the land of Contrast,

Everyone is born old,

Then they get younger and then older all over again.

In the land of Contrast,

The cats wag their tails when they are happy!

They even woof! Dogs on the other hand,

Only wag their tails when they are

unhappy.

In the land of Contrast,

Plants sigh in relief as monkeys swing

through their branches, but with no tails,

they find it even easier to balance.

In the land of Contrast,

The cheetahs can only travel half

a kilometre in the time that it takes the

world to spin round 5 times.

In the land of Contrast,

The snails move at 200mph!

They zoom past all other animals

as they are the champions of speed!

They win marathon after marathon!

In the land of Contrast,

The moon illuminates the scintillating yellow

sky, but at night, the dazzling blue sun brightens up the dark night sky.

In the land of Contrast,

Everything is crazy.

Everyone is at peace

with the world and is kind to everything

and everyone.

In the land of Contrast, everything

is the opposite to expected,

but always enjoyable.

Sunset Cobwebs

Sunset cobwebs

In the land of Sunsets,

I felt the memory of my childhood family holidays camping on the beach.

In the land of Sunsets,

I found a field carpeted with scintillating cobwebs glittering like a diamonds dust.

In the land of Sunsets,

Swings were still; waiting for a playful child to make the world happy once again.

In the land of Sunsets,

Buzzards swooped up and across corn filled fields, horses galloping beside the towering trimmed hedges.

In the land of Sunsets,

Children were running, screaming, clambering across the bright blue climbing frame like woodlice up trees.

In the land of Sunsets,

The bright yellow star was leaving behind a layer of ruby red sky

Skyship Adventure Part 2

The ship plunged into the depths of the trees. It smashed through branch after branch, vine after vine, until finally it bombed into the ground, sending bamboo flying in every direction!

Pan plummeted to the ground, and landed jam-splat in the middle of the scene! But that didn’t stop her from rising to her feet shakily and hobbling off into the rainforest. ‘OZZY?’ she howled into the forest. ‘OZZY?’ After a few seconds, a muffled cry sounded from the bushes: ‘PAN? Is that you?’

‘Yes!’

‘Where are you?’

‘I’m over here, in this bamboo clump!’ Pan called into the forest. There was a rustle, then the sound of leaves crunching underfoot, then, Ozzy hopped into the bamboo. ‘OZZY! You’re alive!’ wailed Pan happily.

‘Of course I am! You didn’t really think I was dead did you?’ said Ozzy.

‘Yes! I did!’ exclaimed Pan!

‘Well, have you seen the crew?’ asked Ozzy, looking around. But there was no sign of the crew. All Pan could see was the rainforest. ‘Let’s go and look, come on!’ squealed Ozzy excitedly, and began ploughing through the thick green hair of the jungle. Pan trotted obediently after her. As she walked, she began to appreciate the scene around her. This was a rainforest, and because she had been so busy and panicked when she had landed, she had not really noticed. All around, the beauty of nature was bringing the forest alive. To the left of her, two margay cubs were crouched in a massive tree together, one of them was plump, the other one skinny, they appeared to be siblings. To the right, a tiny rainbow spider, the size of Pan’s fingernail was doing what seemed to be a dance along a branch, it was very cute. She was amazed at the height of the trees that towered high above her head; they were far taller than the trees in the forest. She shuddered to imagine her two kittens trying to climb them after all, they loved climbing trees, especially Pixie. ‘AH! Quiet down will you?’ yelled Ozzy into the trees as a golden fluffy monkey swung through the trees, howling loudly! ‘I don’t think it will,’ began Pan, ‘after all, it’s a howler monkey, what do you expect?’ Ozzy shrugged, a defeated look creeping slowly across her face. Suddenly, Pan spun around, a glimmer of hope flickering inside her, as she heard the gentle: Splash, splish, splosh of…’THE SEA!’ wailed Ozzy in delight, flinging herself at the golden sand in front of the vast ocean. ‘My baby!’ she howled, scooping up a handful of water.

‘I wouldn’t be delighted if I were you.’ came a voice from behind them. Pan and Ozzy leapt around, to see… nothing. All they could see was the trees, swaying gently in the breeze, and the golden monkey sitting in the tree calmly, his long silky tail dangling pathetically off the branch, his blue eyes wide. Ozzy looked at Pan, ‘Who said that?’ she demanded into the trees, ‘I am armed with a shell!’ she yelled, wielding a stripy shell above her head. Pan, however, had drawn her attention to the howler monkey, who was now hanging upside down from the branch, one curious sea-blue eyes staring right at her. Pan nudged Ozzy in the ribs, and gestured towards the monkey. ‘What?’ questioned Ozzy. But her question was answered when the monkey leapt round from the tree, opened his mouth, and said: ‘Hello!’
