The secret by Gracie SWW

“I wouldn’t go one step closer to that old rusty house,” nagged Miss Smith. Iris is a young girl who has lots of friends but her best was called Millie! Millie is a nice girl, but Iris always thought she was hiding something. But she never let it bother her. They had been jolly good mates since Millie was born! Iris was either at Millies house or Millie was at Iris house. They can’t go one day without seeing eachother! Their parents nagged them daily about not seeing them. But today was their lucky day Millie and Iris are going to be moving in togher!

Their first school day.
At the crack of dawn, Millie and Iris woke up. The yell of Miss Smith made them leap out of bed. Millie grabbed her clothes and hurried in the bathroom to change. Iris on the other hand thumped her school clothes on the back of her desk picking them up one by one. “Ready,” yelled Millie. “Ready,” yawned Iris. Miss Smith came stomping up the stairs carrying her feet along. She opend the door with her massive washing pile stuffed in the curve of her arm. She frissed up Iris’s skirt and pulled up her socks. ” There is a apple in your guys bag now toddle on!”. They walked out the door and started their ten minute walk. They had arrived. Everyday was the same old, maths, engligh, lunch, and finally art.

Home life
When they get home if they haven’t already they eat their apples. Then Miss Smith makes them tea which was bacon from their pigs tonight! They love bacon. When they are finshed eating Miss Smith fires orders and chores at them! Then Miss Smith makes them shower and then change in there uncomfortlbe pjs. They only get a three minute shower because of her water bill. Finally at 7:30pm its lights out and they must must go to sleep! If they are found awake by the time Miss Smith goes to bed there will be bad consquenses!

The sercret
One night, Iris heard Millie talking in her sleep. A sercret. Counfused, Iris turned her face to look at Millie’s. Snoring away. Her eyes were shut and her mouth was moving. Iris did not want to be the one to but in to her private life but it was to loud and investigatting to ignore it! She waited to see what had to be said. A few minutes later, the talking stopped. She explanied all about it but apart from the name! Iris thought it might be a dream but she had to invastigate ferther.

Lets go
That morning they both woke up and did what they normanlly do. They had no school today so Millie was going out with her friend and Iris was going to secrutly tag along! Before Millie left Iris had to find a way to leave the house in her discuise without nobody notising. That is a hard job when it comes to Miss Smith. She popped on this hat on that had to be Miss Smith’s husbands. Then a dark green coat the size of a graffe on her shoulders. She also found this old pair of shoes and whipped them on. “Ready,” She thought.

Mille was about to leave when Miss Smith took a galmce of her but suprisenly let it slide. Of they went. Iris followed her up hills, down hills and through paths. A few hours passed, and she was at this old rusty mistoruisous house place. It looked like it had been abndoned thousands and thousands of years ago. Weridly, it looked like someone was still in there and had never left! Iris shaked her head. ” I am probily just imageing things” she thought.

The secret was shown
Iris was a few steps behind Millie when Iris relized what Millie had been doing. Millie went in her pocket and grabed out these two keys tied to a keyring. She pressed a button leading to tree to open up. A safe was in there! She put one of the keys in whelist looking side to side to see if someone was there. She oppend it. Money came poring out of the safe. “Money!” Iris screamed. She turned to look at me. We locked eyes. I started walking back.

Evacuee Letter by Gracie SWW

Dear Ma,

What a time! Anyway, how are you? I thought I could tell you a bit of how I am so far, and maybe thank you a bit more. Thank you so much for the hot beans and the mini little fudge bites. Everybody on the train ride was either: crying, home sick, reading, begging for my fudge bites or even asleep! Anyway thank you for helping me pack my suitcase. Cece (my favourite teddy in the whole world) is sat next to me asleep. People at the back of the bus are still arguing about who’s hot potatoes is who. I think in everybody’s suit case they either have a blanket as soft as a bear, or a teddy attached to a small white blanket. We were also told that we had to stop at least five times to drop other people off at their new homes. I went to sleep, my head hanging onto Cece.

As soon as I woke up, I saw some weird looking animals outside the window, apperently they are these things called cows. They look chubby and were munching on grass.

We arrived! A massive bush of smoke filled my nose making me cough and sneeze. We put our gas mask’s right by our sides, and suitcases were slammed shut. Miss Mary lined us up one by one counting us in pairs. One by one we jumped of the steps saying thank you to Mrs Frank the train driver. We where now in stone! There was: a church, shop, bakery and a village hall. Miss Mary took us into the village hall and again lined us up, but this time we were standing next to eachother hand by hand. I had no clue who the two girs next to me were but for some reason they kept smiling at me, It was well odd. Suddenly, a big bang of random adults came walking in the room. I look around scared and confused, clinging onto Cece. Miss Mary yelled our names and sent us out to the adults reading kids and adults names from a list. I got called over to this woman called Barbra. She had: a red face like a plum, a grey frissley dress with a cloth tied around her waist. She looked like a nice woman. I looked horrible in my creased scrunched up school unifrom from school that I wear all day up until 3:00pm.

All about the Lie!

All about the Lie.

The lie is made out of
rusty mold from left over food,
darkness from a black window
and a mysterious person.

The lie was found
on the tip of someone head
trapped there like a cage
kept tight to never leave.

This lie can open
up the heaviest heart deleting
the happiness,
show its power
show people its horror
make the devil awaken.

If I lost this lie
although it would take a
while to vanish the devil inside would
never be forgotten.

Nature

Nature

The plant
as a still as a statue,
like mannequin
still growing

The grass
as bright as gold,
like a fresh heathy tree
insect home

The cows
as big as a train,
looking cuter than ever
family’s worst nightmare

The sunflowers
as bright as daisy’s,
wiggling like fish when you pick them up
a fishers first dream

The daisy’s
glassing and blissing,
like moon on a clear night
natures best dreams

The stars
shining better than the moon,
shone on the biggest brightest night
sleepers enjoyed the night.

The Ship of Dreams

The Ship of Dreams

Dreams enters the doors of the deck,
the boat wiggles side to side,
filling people with hopes and wishes.

In the ship of dreams,
wishes and hope distended
with gold wings down from the sky.

The ship of all dreams glowed,
like the moon,
on a clear night.

On the ship of dreams,
as soon as people stepped on,
glowing stars flew down on the ship.

I heard on the ship of,
stars glowing and shinning,
in the night

Stars fell from the sky,
like feathers,
falling from trees.

Chapter 2 by Gracie SWW

Chapter 2 We both sat on the bed nervously. She must of been having a laugh because nobody has seen this beast ever. But why would someone make a joke about this, and plus this is a very serious thing to joke about. Never joke about the pink pigamander. The thunder was angry at the exact time we sat on the bed. She would of never saw the pigamander, she couldn’t of. I did not know either to believe her or be shocked, “I saw the pigamander we need to get somewhere safe fast” said the girl shivering. Five minutes later, we are outside Darcie stood right by my feet. We just had a little talk that we had and she told me her name and she her calm herself down a bit. I think we were both still very panicky about the whole situation. We had are hats and gloves on that I randomly found, protecting us from the cold. The weather was the worst thing about this. If we did not have fuzzy socks are shoes would of already been off are feet. As always, the distant wind came for us again that was a bad sign of the pigamander. We were at the rocky beaches. We set off through the town. Over branches, rocks and tiny little stones. Until we arrived at South-by-coast-beach. There was lots of people but they were leaving quickly. I got a bit scared and Darcie was turning a bright shade of red. We were both in a uncomfortable state and had know idea what to do. We felt blank. But there was about hundreds of schools, fish and chips shop which was slammed shut because of the storm. There were clothes shops . But sadly everything was shut. All of a sudden, a trail of pink gloop was on the floor. Darcie jumped and squeezed my hand. We were both terrified. We did not know if we should follow it or not and think about are danger. It led into a pile of: branches leaves and tree stalks. It was kind of weird. We looked back and all the people were gone like they had disappeared in thin air. The thunder was getting strong and mad. The thunder flickered like it was going crazy. The weather is worst then earlier Darcie and I had no idea what to think. The creature was tiny and had never been seen clearly. Finally the pink goo stop but no sign of the pigamander. It was so tiny that me and Darcie’s legs were shivering. But we heard something a tiny thing moving in the grass. I could not think if it was the pigamander or not. I am so confused. I did not know what to do. I was scared nobody was there to help. Outside, the lighting was getting to strong I don’t think we can stay much longer out here in cold but we had to find this pigamander. We waited and waited forever before we couldn’t anymore. We were bored. I lifted up the grass and there was the pink pigamander lead there sleeping. Are coats were socked so we touch it. We finally had proof of the pigamander!

Dear Diary By Gracie SWW

Dear Diary,

Last night, I experienced the weirdest thing of all times. It all started when I was walking my dog Buddy along the beach. The windy waves nearly blew my hat off. Buddy spend most of his time figuring out what pebbles were. In the distance, you could see the waves clinging on the rocks not letting go. You could smell the seaweed from a mile away sat in the sea bored. I wanted to explore. I tightened my coat and carried on walking.

After walking for miles, we finally reached the pier. I’d never been there at the time. Buddy never moved except when I think he had fluff up his nose. Out of nowhere, thunder came clashing down affecting the pier. It was weird it was a bit windy but it had never been thunder there before.

Suddenly, a mysterious looking figure looked out from the sea. I wondered if I should get a closer look. I curiously headed towards it.

A very foggy little figure lifted its head out from the windy sea. Goosebumps went down my spine as Buddy barked and rapped himself around my leg. He kept disappearing and reappearing. There was nobody there. It was just me and Buddy. There was no people serving at Seagulls diner. There was no seagulls in the sky. It all faded to black. It felt not real like a dream.

A gooey black bubble dripped from his hand as he slowly walked out of the water. The thunder got bigger as he came towards me. The thunder was him. I froze in shock. Me and Buddy looked at each other. We had no idea what to think.

I ran. Buddy followed me not letting me out of sight. There was no shelter. I felt like my heart had dropped out of skin. I ran out of breath.
