The poem

Go and open the door.
Maybe, you’ll see a cold fire
crackling it’s usual tune.

Go and open the door.
Maybe, you’ll see KTM dirt bike
whizzing round racing tracks.

Go and open the door.
Maybe, you’ll see desperate children
waiting to be let out, as if they were a dog.

Go and open the door.
Maybe, you’ll see a child moaning
about what he wants for tea.

 

Go and open the door.
Maybe, you’ll see a your homework hovering right
underneath your nose,
whilst whispering the sums.

Go and open the door.
Maybe, you’ll see a graveyard
crawling from head to foot with spiders.

Just go and open the door.

At least there’ll be some sun.​

In the room of animals,
I was knocked onto the floor by an angry rhino.

In the room of trees,
I climbed every tree right to the top from dawn to dusk.​

In the room of sunset,
I Slept under the magnificent stars.

I the room magic.
I cast a spell on my annoying brother.

In the room of greed I stuffed cake into my mouth till I couldn’t say a word.

In the room of confusion, I stared blankly at everything around me. Where was I.

In the room of chargers I stared around the room for some sockets. There was none.

In the room of lightning I was suddenly taken to the hospital.

In the room of cereal I searched up and down for the milk carton.

In the room of hair dresser I came out with the worst hair cut I’ve ever seen ,it was even worse than my mum had done the week before.

Sky ships and Devils Part 4
He woke up to Hannah snoring loudly in his ear. He got up, walked over to his wardrobe then got dressed. Suddenly, he realized he didn’t have the dragon. He ran up on to the deck and searched top to bottom. He found it next to the steering wheel, sleeping on a rock. He picked it up as soon as Hannah ran to meet him.

She took it from his arms, then rocked in her own. At that moment, there was a screech and a thud on the side of the ship. “I hope it’s not the dragons Mother, because we would be dead meat if it was,” said Sam. He walked over toward the noise but he couldn’t see anything, it was too misty.

Moments later, the captain appeared, eating a bagel. “What’s wrong?” he mumbled, with a mouthful of food. He walked over and stared down. “That’s another ship,” he said.
“I can’t understand you, you’ve got to much food in you mouth” answered Hannah
“That’s another ship, ” he said, again.
“Oh,” she said.

They went down stairs but Sam just new that there was something on the side of the boat.

Part 3

Sam, who was upset by what was happening, peered over the edge of the ship and stared down in horror. Sitting five feet away from him was a baby dragon. He glanced behind him to see if anyone as there. No one. He bent over to pick it up. The glimmering skin had ripples like water and it was as smooth as silk on a pillow. It had eyes that were as big as busses and the legs were short and stumpy.

The Dragon was shivering in fear and it’s body was freezing cold. Suddenly, I realized that it was hurt. “Hannah,” he called” get here now”. He raced to the library, grabbed a book from the shelf and raced back. He opened the book to the right page, but then slammed it shut again in frustration. There was nothing in there about Dragons.

Minutes later, Hannah appeared with a towel in her hand. I told her about the dragon and she walked over to it to look at it properly. “It has been cut”, she said. Blood was streaming down it’s stomach but luckily it was only a small cut. “Will he make it?” Sam said
“Probably not”

Sam circled the dragon thinking of ideas. Nothing yet. I went inside to get some water, I was tired and fed up, I need to get some sleep.

Sky Ships and Devils.
PART 2
“Prepare to land!” cried the Captain over the speaker. Minutes later, the ship dipped downwards and started acting awkward. He ran quickly over to the steering wheel and wrestled it to keep straight. The wind was howling ferociously now and the rain wasn’t helping either. Suddenly, their was a deafening crunch and the sky ship jerked downwards. Hannah and Sam stared over the railings as the ship sped up. “We’re going to die!, I’m to young to die!” Hannah screamed.

The ship landed in a dark, misty forest. Everything was silent. They were stuck in a big oak tree that had half fallen into another tree. With a pop of the balloon air seeped out into the air as the crew exchanged glances then looked on into the forest.” We need to go out to get some supplies,” said Captain Tom. “You two stay here and keep lookout,” he told Sam and Hannah.

The crew left to go with the captain as the children stayed back. Out of the corner of his eye, Sam saw a flicker of a light in a bush. Into the distance, Sam saw; a fox prowling for it’s prey, a bear licking it’s lips and a eagle screeching noisily.

Behind a bush, stood a statue that was cracked and crumbled. It was just lying their, for no odd reason. Jerking his head round he realized that his sister was staring at it too. What was it? It looked like an old god from the Tudor times.

What felt like hours later, the crew finally arrive with supplies towering over their heads. Suddenly, Sam saw the light again. Someone was here, he knew it. He turned round to see the whole crew with their heads turned the way of the statue. They could see it to. Sam went to look at it but when he did, it was in a different position. He stared at it in horror.

It moved again, it was alive. Then it stopped. Silence. Everyone was horror struck.

After hours of fixing the sky ship, the crew got on and headed for the fierce sky’s, they were heading for home, but they might not make it. The sky devils, that the statue might of possibly been one, might stop them. Hopefully not.

Mountain Dragons

Mountain Dragons!

There are many types of dragons in the world, but Mountain Dragons are like know other. They are the most dangerous and the most fascinating creatures ever. Even though they’re scary they are very beautiful.

Do you know what a mountain dragon look’s like? They have beady eyes that can see thing’s miles away and their claws could chop a bus in half but if you caught one, that it is very hard, you could make them blunter. Surprisingly, they have a scaly tail but at the end of it there is a mountain shaped rock. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see one because they blend into their habitat-Mountains.

Almost all Mountain Dragons live in the core of mountains but some like live in jungles. Surprisingly, Mountain Dragons brake of rocks to use them to make beds and covers. The ones in the jungle use moss for covers and wood for beds. If you want to see this Dragon, you should go into the jungle or mountain right after lunch or tea because that’s when they go out hunting for food. But be carful they might mistake YOU as their food. These Dragons have sharp horns but they can change colour and they can grow longer all to their type of mood.

Surprisingly, Mountain Dragons are quite nice but sometimes they turn into vile, vicious creatures. If you dared you could train them as pets, only if you caught one, but only brave, brave people do. Most people think that if you see a mountain dragon you will turn to stone but that’s not true. So dragon hunters, beware, get all your kit ready.

The Wild Wood
Sam slowly snuck down the stairs then crept into the kitchen. Looking around she saw Honey, their dog sleeping soundly in her cage. Thunder rumbled over head. She shivered. She walked over to the door and tiptoed outside. The wind howled like a wild dog lightning blinded her eyes as if she was staring at the sun.

After a while, Sam reached the Winding Wood. She took the narrow path then sat down on the damp grass. She hadn’t slept well last night, most of the time she was worrying about her big sister, who had gone to university. A while later Sam fell to sleep.

Moments later he woke with a startle. Something was breathing . When she got up to run, she felt something engraved in the tree next to her. She read aloud, “ANYONE WHO ENTERS WILL NEVER SEE LIGHT AGAIN.” She swallowed, then bolted. She jumped over logs, ran through streams and hit branches out of her face.

A while later she reached the main road, surprisingly there was actually quite a lot of cars. Then she heard it again, the high pitched breathing in his ear. He didn’t know how to stop it. He sat down wondering what it was.

Suddenly, he woke up. He just realized it was just a bad dream so he got up and went to have some breakfast.

Matt opened the door and slipped inside. He crepted over to his desk and sat slowly down. “Sorry sir,” he mumbled, his face flushing pink. Looking at his toes, he tried to listen to the boringness of his teachers lesson but all he could think about was his mums face when he left.

Several moment’s later Sam proudly strode into the room and then purposely slammed the door. “I would of been here earlier but my bike got a puncture two mile’s before I got to school,” he lied. He loudly walked over to his desk and chucked his bag down so that purple liquid made a puddle on the floor.

Pretending, to be interested in sir’s lesson, Sam screwed up paper, got ready to throw and launched the at the teacher’s head. After a while of doing naughty stuff he started talking to himself trying to hatch a plan but what he didn’t know that Alex could hear every word.

Matt wondered. What what was an abanded house was doing in his garden? He walked in, the foul place smelled terrible it was like you were living in a rubbish dump. There was a moldy stair case that looked about ninety years old and there were crushed plates all over the the floor.

Everything was broken, even a table was crushed snapped in half . Suddenly, he heard something, scraping, scratching, SMASH. Matt ran up the stairs and into a small room, he locked the door, jumped behind a wardrobe and stayed as still as could. He held his breath. Nothing happened so he calmed down and thought what possibly could of made them noises.
