                     Save our planet

                      By Chloe and Isabella

Did you know that scientists estimate that by 3000 there will be another mass extinction if we don’t act fast! So will you join us to conquer this vital incident

Sadly sea creatures are perishing due to so much plastic building up to form a ceiling so sea mammals can’t breathe. Do you really want that?

The problem is climate change, deforestation, plastic pollution, oil tips, us…

The forests are burning, the oceans are dying the polar ice caps are melting- did you know it takes 500- 1,000 years for a plastic bag to completely decompose, plastic bottles can take more then 450 years to decompose and a crisp packet takes 8 decades! That is terrible for our planet

It is crucial that we save our beloved sea creatures from extinction. Did you know that 12 million tonnes of plastic is dumped into our ocean each year! As a team we can put an end to plastic pollution. A method of doing this is to ask you to recycle, reuse and save our beloved ocean.

Climate change, another problem our earth is suffering from, we urge you to save energy by turning the light off when you don’t need it or even turn the TV off when you’re not watching it. Simple things like that can save our planet 1 day at a time.

Trees and flowers

                     TREES AND FLOWERS

                         By Chloe and Isabella

Sundrip’s petals shimmer and yawn its bud acts like a doorway to heaven, light peeps out each crack in the stem, it’s roots dance under the ground and are slender like rat tails, its leaves wave to the bees, it’s stamen whispers hidden messages and keeps them until it’s lush, green leaves fly.

The moontails stem is made out of heavenly icicles freezing the ground beneath, it’s petals are breathing out steam as cold as ice, it’s roots are dark like the midnight sky and spreads anywhere it likes till it dies…

AutumnBlossoms are rare but pretty, their soft, orange petals glow and its hard but delicate dark green stem blows out wishes, but it’s leaves cling to the stem like a nightmare on a cold night, it’s messages whisper bad dreams and horror.

Milkcups are peculiar but so cute. They have tiny leaves made of squishy marshmallows and its petals have one of a kind milk that slides onto the green, grassy ground that makes more milkcups drip drip  and more of them grow on and on forever.

Redroses are as devilish as the devil, whispering horror into the ears of those who pick its ruby red petals. It’s stem blossoms into seeds when the redrose is picked, its stamen collectes fear and scared souls, the fluffy, yellow bees stay away from it’s horror and terror of those.

The daffodil is found in a fabulous  forest . Its stem is made out of purple, friendly snakes. Beside the lushus daffodil, large fluffy bees swarm around ,smiling and collecting pollen, while the other happy bees explore.

In the land of Neverbelieve

                     NEVERBELIEVE

                            By Isabella and Chloe

In the land of Neverbelieve, I captured a fire rat as it scurried up the mystical round tower of Glendon village.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I saw a fairy flying to the land of the goblins, a flash of light then shattering ice and it was gone.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I touched the swirling water of Neptune as the space willows swayed beside me.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I found a lazy labrador snoozing in the impossibly mesmerizing clouds, each snore blowing sparks of joy over the night street below.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I saw the petrified clouds breathing heavily as the apocalyptic sky consumed the misty fog on the Glendon mountain.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I sang softly  to the mystical, snow mice in the icy moonlit garden as they  gifted me sparkly, purple ice shards.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I touched a sea serpent’s ridge of bony spikes in its creaky cave, its bloodshot eyes opened and it let out a thrusting roar that deafened my soul.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I found 6 beautiful blue chirping birds at the top of a sunlit tree taking care of their tiny family.

The forest unicorn report

                                       Forest unicorn

Appearance

Forest unicorns have long, green manes as soft as the silkiest velvet in the world! They have a long horn so they can get to the moss crystals, also so they can get through the soft, dry leaves. Additionally, their mossy ,green hooves trot through the cave..

Special skills

Amazingly, the forest unicorn has skills (well doesn’t every animal have them?) Ok yes they can grow flowers, but their most known skill is when they fly up in the air, somehow they can provide a net almost like a trampoline made out of weeds to catch their fall.

Food and drink

Weirdly they only eat one thing, which is… moss crystals which are usually found in leafy caves. They drink water from a stream .

Habitat

Curiously, forest unicorns live in fantasy grottos (by that i mean leafy caves) there not very territorial at all, if they met then they would get along nicely so then they will be friends forever.

Finally

So we have come to the end of this beautiful forest unicorn report, well there is one more thing we need to tell you…

If you see one with a red horn, run RUN as FAST as you can!

What is…

What is cold? The icy breath of a glacier as the bitter icebergs stomp through the whispering water in the abandoned rocky south.

What is hot? The scorching hot breath of a fiery, flaming dragon as it flaps its magma wings.

What is small? A quiet mouse in a warm summer field of blossoming flowers in the cool April air.

What is big? A sad, lonely dinosaur swimming rapidly through the clear, blue ocean in the hard, battering rain.

What is deadly? A stripy black tiger, hunting eagerly in the soft jungle mist.

What is friendly? A cute fluffy dog with its ears flowing in the wind as it walks through the lush green park.

What is loud? A soft, white guinea pig, in the rainy morning shrieking her head off for food.

What is quiet? A soundless fish gliding through the rough ocean of the moon’s tears.

I have never seen a dragon or a phoenix

I have never felt the hot, fiery wing of a flaming, orange phoenix in the shimmering red sunset.

but I have felt the soft, brown glistering feathers of a shinny hawk in the damp, long morning at Webbs garden centre

I have never seen a flaming,scarlet red dragon in a magnificent,grey castle.

but have seen a dull seagull at the beach with soft golden sand in the afternoon breeze, with my family.
