The end

After a few hours of mending the ship, the crew boarded it; gliding through the night sky. Jasmine glanced around, taking in the cool breeze round her. Stars glimmered in the moonlight, as she walked across the boards. With the aroma of trees and flowers under them, the gleaming moon shone enthusiastically, trees sway along the wind; owls hooting across the night sky. Glancing down, Terry gazed upon the green fields that extended over the horizon.

Several minutes later, clouds accumulated, threatening rain upon them, Terry walked across the deck carrying supplies. At that moment, lightning roared, thunder howled; rain pelting down on him. Then he heard it. Something or someone was rasping the ship’s frame, approaching him at lightning speed. By now the crew hurried out onto the deck wondering what the fuss was about.

“What’s that sound?” Asked Jasmine, worriedly. With the mauling coming closer; one of the grown ups took the risk to peer over the railing. Without warning, he stumbled back, dashing into the ship’s cabin with a petrified face. Then it revealed itself.

It had a silhouette of a bear, slinking slowly across the deck. They were frozen, glaring at each other with a shiver crawling up their spines. It had bloodshot eyes, curved cutting claws that scrape across the floor and rotten that gnaw at enemies.

In a blink of an eye it circled round them. At that moment, it pounded on Terry; threatening to bite. With everyone panicking, the coward adult sprinted out of the cabin with a half-broken ship, knocking the creature to the ground; glaring around in a hurry. In a flash, Jasmine scooped up the monster hurling it across the deck and through the night.

New crew member

Breathing heavily, Terry and Jasmine gazed at each other. Heart pounding, they stood up with clammy hands, wondering what would come. Scanning the room, both took compact steps, reaching from window to window, one lay untouched. Taking miniature, Terry took the risk to glance out. Under him, lay an innocent creature, it had blue beady eyes that stared at him, mesmerizing green scales that clash across the ground, a venomous, forked-tongue that spits out poison and a mouth, big enough to consume a child. Leaping back, they nervously glared at it.

“Hello there,” it said, Terry and Jasmine peered at each other, frozen.

“You can talk?” Jasmine exclaimed, mouth gawping.

“Will you be my friend?” It asked, just as it slithered towards them. Walking dilatorily, they approached it, with sweat dripping from their hands.

Emergency Landing

Terry glared out to the open sea, they were supposed to arrive at their destination 3 hours ago. As he searched, droplets of water started to hail down, it was obvious that they had gone off-course. As the wind threatened to heave the ship down, lightning roared around them, making him anxious. By now, his sister, Jasmine, stumbled out of the cabin gazing at her new surroundings.

Without warning, a deafening roar shuddered the ship, the delicate engine was slashed by the harsh lightning. As the engine alarmed, they thought of the consequences that would occur if they didn’t act quick. They hurriedly steered and turned the ship as much as they could to the nearest island. After a few minutes of terror, they successfully landed to the unknown island.

Will they survive?

Eight things found in an explores bag

A dragon sword, forged by the mythical gems, found under the mountains of eliskis that can summon an array of flames.

The wings of an eagle to travel in the air hastily through the damp sky.

A light, passed down by the gods, to teleport about the colossal mountains that lie in your way of adventuring.

The darkness, to shroud the enemy in darkness as you escape like a little mouse.

A map, to guide me to the important places to ensure a harmless trip in the unknown.

A drone, crafted by the purest metal of the north, to scout for the bandits that try to assassinate you.

An endless food source, to satisfy me when I am starving after a long day of walking.

A limitless bag, to hoard all of my essentials when I’m on a long trip.

Something Emerges

Throughout the deep depths of the dreary cave,

A deathening roars rumbles through the ominous cave,

A new beast emerges from the darkness.

Its  iridescent scales glimmers in the darkness,

Protecting the lush insides of it.

As it yawns,

Rotting teeth jutted out,

Like an angry rabbit wanting food.

Blood -shot eyes arises,

Thought the calm night,

Gazing at its meal.

Cruel clenched claws,

 clicked upon the cursed ground,

Ready to incise its target in one.

A broad tail sways across the pale floor,

Smashing into the helpless rocks that lie between it.

Bitter snow lands on the dewy grass quietly,

As the dragon leaves its zone,

Ready to strike again.

You Are…

You are a flaming hot pepper,

Waiting to cleanse out people’s

Mouths with anger.

You are a hat,

With a fluffy ball-ball on

The top of your head,

wobbling in the freezing breeze.

You are a metal fridge,

Waiting to be opened with

Ice-cold drinks.

You are a secretive sponge,

Ready to be scrubbing the

Surfaces.

You are an old book,

With ancient words written in

You.

You are a jug of water,

With fish swimming in you

Tickling you head to toe.

You are a window,

See-through and clear with the

Sunlight shimmering through you.

You are a washing machine,

Spinning day and

Night.

You are an elegant door,

sliding to and

fro.

You are a brown brick,

Cemented into a tough

Wall.

Chapter 3 – Snake

“Hello?”asked this unidentified creature, Adam instantly woke.

“You can talk?”replied Adam in amazement .

“Yes inde-,”Suddenly the sound of glass crashed on the floor board like  someone was breaking in; an enemy. Adam knew it was bad, like the unknown man snitched on them. He heard cracking in the distant hallways, someone was hunting this mythical beast. By now many bad thoughts rose, higher and higher. Adam silently searched around the room, until, a powerful sound of a drilling machine rang their ears and was tearing into the ancient walls. At that moment, suddenly Adam stopped,

“What’s wrong?” asked the mythical creature.

“They’re coming, fast,”the distance sound of footsteps and loud drilling came closer and closer.Shuddering, clicks of something like a flashlight came closer, or the rain. Adam couldn’t even comprehend anything, he was just afraid of what was in the hallways. Without warning the unknown group all went quiet, Adam was confused.

“Nothing here,” shouted a man in the distance, Adam sighed, he felt a moment of relief.

“We’re safe for n-,”a crash of sound rattled into the walls, they were coming their way! He knew, they had to hide, so quietly and cautiously they ventured through the worn out building. Slowly, they creped along the damp floor boards. A slash of light struck the ground, the outraged storm towered over them blocking out the moonlight and the howling wind banged on the helpless windows. Darkness sliced the light making the torches to nothing, the floor filled with dust the floor had collected and broken wooden crates lay scattered on top of each other, scattered on the dirty floor. Adam started to panic, nowhere to hide, his breathing was deep and rapid, heart pounding, shivering, he quietly sprinted across the room in terror as quick as he could to try and find a hiding spot. After searching around and around, he found it, Behind some crates stacked on top of each other. Quickly, they dashed to safety, just in time. The group entered the room and searched with their flashlights. Adam held his breath, not daring to breathe until the guards left.

“By the way, my name is Snake,”whispered Snake. Adam nodded his head, they had to wait this out. After what seemed like long, boring hours but was probably a couple of minutes, Adam took a deep breathe and risked a glance, the coast was clear… for now. The raging storm disappeared but left traces of the furious wind, evil fog trapped people in their houses and wind sliced through the air.

“We’ve got to go, they will be back any second,”whispered Adam. There was no response, silence, Snake just gazed at him. Snake’s golden, fiery eyes reached into his souls and sent him a message. Moments later, he received the message and knew he had to locate the gateway. The gateway would save him and Snake would turn into an immortal, travelling different worlds. Adam knew he had to help him because he couldn’t do it himself. Without warning, Adam checked Snake’s pulse, it was poor, he had trouble breathing and he was very weak and the blood from his wound was seeping out. They had no choice but to locate the gateway. At once, they decided to leave the safest place which had turned into the most dangerous place. They dashed across the gloomy alleys while being as silent as a ghost. The huge moon was gleaming above them, like a shiny ball. Roads were empty like a cup of air. The colossal buildings lights turning off, slowly. One by one. They continued their journey, until, a checkpoint was in their way , it had guards, if they saw them bad thing might happen. In an instant, Adam searched around the checkpoint and the Snake followed after. Adam found another route and avoided the guards. Would they be caught or will they succeed in their mission?

Snake

It turned into a sad rainy night with the raging wind slashing across the city and Adam hadn’t reached his destination yet, the further he walked the more it was turning into an abandoned town, and the creepier it became.

”Hand me that bag!” demanded a voice out of nowhere, his shadow towered over Adam and he knew this wasn’t good. Suddenly the unknown man pulled out a sharp, white, glistening knife and walked towards him, slowly, each step made him quiver. At that moment Adam dashed try to find a place to hide, although there was nowhere, except an old rusty house that it looked like it had been hit by a bolder. It was life or death so he darted inside and swung the worn out door. Outside the lightning bolted down and thunder slashed as rain hammered, The mist circled the house like the weather was against him. Adam was terrified for his life,  he flashed around in an endless maze of ancient doors.

”Get back here now, no one escapes from me!” shouted the man  Adam glanced at the man, he was grinning. He noticed this creepy building was really ancient, like made in the 80’s. The furious wind seeped into the broken windows and made an icy breeze along his face. The some of many trash bags were left here to rot, with a sound of buzzing bugs eating the rotten food, and a shadow that seemed to move itself that frightened Adam and pipes which were rusty and they led to nowhere, some pipes leaking with water and even exploding. He fled around almost having a panic attack, his heart pounding, clammy hands, terrified of what would come next if he didn’t find an exit. He attempted to comfort himself but none of it worked. Stressed, he was now shivering, scrambling around cluelessly and rooms became darker and darker. As he sprinted the walls caved in, Adam froze in place, it was a dead end! He shut his eyes as tight as he could, not knowing what would happen now.

”No one escapes me!” shouted the man, walking closer and closer. “Woah, um uh what are you?” The man instantly fled through the building and shouted as he dashed. For a moment Adam felt happy until, he noticed a giant shadow towering over him and a sound that he had never heard of before. His mind was spinning wondering, what would terrify a man with a knife? By now his mind was filled with horrible thoughts but he shook them of and took the risk of turning around. Slowly, the body emerged out the darkness, a massive tail appeared, one by one revealing each dry scale. A thin, damp, smelly fork-like tongue came to him, almost licking him. By doing that the he saw its wet fangs that were like a jagged claw of blades. This unidentified creature had not killed him yet, surprising, it seemed to admire him.
