chapter 3

IIt was old and abandoned with spider webs Hanging from the wall.

The door was left open with a second to think, He stepped inside, His heart beating fast The old farm house had disgusting brown walls with a bowl of cow guts it had : one bedroom ( basically just a sleeping bag on the floor ) And a kitchen with a random toilet in the middle of it well the only good thing about it was a cosy little  fire place. He walked in to the disgusting kitchen and there was a table set up fancy for three with the teapot steaming and a nice plate of homemade choc chip cookies ready to be eaten.

” Emm hello!” Shouted Dave, Wondering if anyone was there. But no one replied. He made his way slowly up the stairs all it led to was a darkened hallway with three doors. There was no one in the game room though it was really cool because it had L.E.D lights but still there where  daddy long legs scattering across the walls and the floor was shaking. For a moment, He thought he had just walked in to his nightmares.

He put a drawing of her dream job, It is giving doubts it could never come true.

There were signs that made him think someone lived there or used to. But if someone still lived here he was sure he or she  was for sure not here right now. For definet. Then he heard it.

It was coming from down the stairs ; Ruby eyes bulged out of a manikins head; Claws as sharp as tigers teeth clawed out of the ground. There was no time to think this time. Dave barged  the farm houses door and, Rushed  out the door and straight down the pathway, Through the farm quickly towards the door

But… there was nothing there. Nothing at all except for more farm lands , just going on and on forever and ever and then he heard a voice a huge a shadow was walking over her. “YOUR STUCK FOREVER!” Screamed a voice from the house!

Warning disobayed

“Hello my name is Sally Slither” she said gazing at Dave until he took a big step back, worriedly. “This is my shop. Like it”? Dave had no words he was too

scared to speak so he just nodded his head slowly. That is my book of habitats. Feel free to look around my shop but DO NOT touch the book!”

A minute later, Mrs Sally Slither had disappeared in a flash and that meant Dave was left all alone. He realized he was so out of breath from holding his breath his face was like a tomato.  He was meant to keep browsing around the shop but the book was just calling him. He desperately longed to know what was being hidden inside the book of habitats. He peeked round a corner just to see a small dark empty room which had like 60 doors he thought and said ” where do these doors open to “he wondered?

He turned back, and he opened the book. Each individual page included  a different world of a sort. There where cool drawings and notes about forests, Deserts, jungles, cottages, and the deep dark sea and farms and more. In each page where different type of places where animals live and wonders beyond he didn’t even know he was so took.

The next thing Dave knew, There was a fancy shaped pen in his hand and next thing u know he started drawing a farm world full of cows and pigs and all that but in his picture he added a small little farm house and inside, he drew something he has always longed for.

” Follow me ” said the snake. Dave shut the book  within a Mila second  Dave followed. The snake slithered down the long hallway until it reached a door  that had a golden door knob. It started raping its head around the shiny door knob and it and for some resson it magically opened and the snake dissepared in  a second. Dave knew exactly what he was going to do. He opened the door slowly and entered.

He was in, not into a room, but into a farm!

The sun was beaming through the trees in the farm.

He took a second and lisend. It was silent and clam well exept from the pigs snorting in the farm hut. He saw a big patch of grass and a oddly shaped path way leading to a mysterious old abandend farm house. But the weird thing was it looked as exactly as how she drew it in the book and as exactly as she thought. Without thinking, and with out thinking Dave ran as fast as he could down the path getting closer and closer to the farm house.

The spooky emporium

Prologue

There are some places where people never dare to enter.

Well the Spooky Emporium was like that.

Although every Halloween it was dark and spooky and wicked witches chase you and  wizards cast there spells.

Although, the creepy dolls on the shelf move about the house and scream loudly at night.

Even though, You could see the lamppost lights flickering or the fire works exploding in the air like a bomb of happiness. Even though, you heard the sound of chattering inside. Even though, the carnival rides at Brassie beach where queued round the full beach, like a toy box overflowing.

But no one ever entered. In the hallway it was to scary and all u heard was spooky noises. It was as if it was trying to make u enter but no one ever did. No one until that’s Dave.

Chapter one – in the Emporium!

Dave had always been scared because his mother and father left him when he was born but the last words she said to him where watch out for danger. One rainy morning Dave was walking down Killin place. When he noticed something unusual about the Emporium the lights where flickering like mad, and the door was finally open and without hesitation, he stomped in.

Everywhere he looked there where daddy long legs crawling about the walls but then she saw a shiny golden box with antique jewellery hanging out the box and randomly music started playing and filled the shop. A weird stuffed white owl  sat at the window ledge ,and Dave saw scary shadows beaming with darkness. On one of the counters there was a plate of lamb guts. There where a display of old china dolls at the window, Weird looking statues of chimpanzees where on a desk and the walls where a weird poo colour. To one side, There where a bunch of  stuffed animals including, cats, tigers, racoons and dogs. There where tanks of great white sharks there teeth as sharp as thorns and as white as a blizard. But what intrested dave the most was a old rusty old leather book. As he turned pages, the writing was big and bold but  the writing was moving so he could not read it.

I see you found my book of habitats whispered a voice. Dave looked around with a scared look, closed the book and looked up at the owner of the emporium. It was a young tall women will with unusual rainbow hair. On her shoulder was a huge snake hissing. She looked at it in dissipontment  and  said in a mood OH NO!

Through the door of wonders

My magical poem!

Through the black door

I found a broken heart shattering into small pieces,

A  magpie sadly sitting on the roof of my old abandoned shed,

Or a spooky pitch black night at 3am.

Through the white door

I found  a holy dove flying gracefully across the cloudy sky,

A ice cream dropped on the hard concrete floor at Troon beach.

Or a sheep happily running across the field on a sunny day.

Through the red door

I heard a family having a movie night with the log burner on,

A love letter getting posted,

And a letterbox dancing poshly on a

hot day.

Through the orange door

I saw a fat orange  cat lurking about my garden,

Or Irn bru exploding all over my face.

Through the yellow door

I saw crazy monkeys racing for a bundle of  bananas,

A bundle of coins left on my front door.

Or a lemon tap dancing on top of my fruit bowl.

should we let dragons in sutton

Should we let dragons into Sutton?

We are discussing if dragons are allowed into Sutton. This is a hot topic because there is different dragons like dangerous and gently dragons. We don’t want anyone to get hurt.

Many people think that dragons should be let into Sutton because there are some nice and calm dragons. Also you a can tell if there nice or evil. Dragons will good pets everyone says that.

However, some people think that dragons should ‘Ent be because they are really dangerous. Furthermore, they can kill you buy there flames and fire. The police have now came into the debate.

There are people asking what you think about it. I decided they should’ ENT because they can kill you. Also there are too dangerous.

Hedgehog

Hedgehog, hedgehog snuffle and snout.

What good food is all about?

Worms and slugs and wiggily bugs.

With prickles as sharp as thorns.

You are as shy as a little toddler.

You’re as small as a ball of wool and have muddy brown eyes.

You are always lurking about the woods looking for little bugs to eat.

Out at night under moonlight.

Scratching and burrowing, scratching and **************** for food and a home to take.

Hedgehog, hedgehog snuffle and snout.

What good food is all about?
