The Cheetah 

The cheetah is a form of animal, that has only recently been discovered. Its nationality is rare, they can smell humans one hundred meters away and people do not usually see them because they hide in specific places. Where do you think it hides? 

They come in different genders such as a girl, boy or an unknown gender. The most common gender will be a girl or boy. Amazingly, they can live up to 10 – 12 years but unfortunately right now these specific cheetahs are currently coming to an end.  

Cheetahs hides in specific places because of where some things get, cut down and that could cause their hiding place, to be damaged and will never be used again, until the trees grow back.  

The maximum speed they can run is fifty-nine miles per hour and last about thirty minutes. It can do ninety-six kilometres between thirty to sixty minutes. The range of eye colour are brown, green, light red, yellow, magenta, purple, dark red, light brown, light purple, blue, grey, and finally, orange. 

Chapter 4 – The Return

The guard had gone for its lunch. Lucy and Lucas had thought, of an escape plan for not only them, but all the people also stuck! The plan was going perfectly fine until the guard had come back from lunch, but we had a second plan for an occasion like this. “Let’s go for a plan b” whispered slowly Lucy. “OK” said Lucas. We just had to get the keys from the guard for the cages for everyone to escape or just stay here for a lifetime. The security guards had come by our cage so tried to get the keys and we were so close but we will try next time so we can get everything back to normal and act if nothing happened. The guard had come by again and we the keys carefully and replaced it with fake ones that can break so easily!

Finally, we got out, now we need to find security guard clothes. “Over there” happily whispered Lucy. Lucy and Lucas put on the clothes but there was one problem our voices. “we’ll talk in a deep voice, then they won’t recognise our voices or our looks.” They

walked down to the first cage and unlocked it, to get the people out and quickly hid them somewhere else but we had a lot more to do. Now that is them all out and, in their spots, however they all do not know what we are doing with them and who we are. We dashed to the people that we escaped with, and they are all murmuring but not until we came.

We all escaped safely. We found bits of wood and built an enormous raft so we can happily cross over. The dolphins were following us, so we need to move fast. “All aboard” shouted Lucy impatiently. We made it across safely now we figure out how to get through the door, so we can go back to our houses. Lucas was digging and found a box that said do not open or you will be in trouble. “Lucy” called Lucas. “coming” shouted back Lucy. They both were not too sure if they should open it but without really thinking about it, they opened the box, and it was a key for the door or some door. They ran to the door that will lead you to the shop before you got trapped. The key worked and Lucy and Lucas shouted, “come on everyone we can escape now!” We all went into the shop and the young women was nowhere to be found. Lucy went to the door that led her back to where it all started. The door was open, and they all went back home, and the door was never to be seen again.

Chapter 3 – Through The Door 

It was an enormous, brick cage with bulky bars like a prison. The brick cage was open, and Lucy was forced to get in quickly, before her eyes. The cage didn’t have everything it needed: a bunk bed with metal structure around it; a filthy toilet in the corner with a sink that is never cleaned; a small table with random things from a long time ago; a plate with ham and a bite taken out of it. 

“Hi, I’m Lucy, who are you?”, waiting for a respond while tapping her foot. She headed towards the bed and sat down. “Hello, I’m Lucas I have been stuck here for a year or maybe two”. Unfortunately, the security guard comes every thirty minutes, so we got to make sure we’re not too suspicious. It is possible that we can maybe try to communicate with other prisoners and try to trick the security guards. Most importantly we need to see if there are security cameras in the hallways in between the cages full of people. Lucy peaked out of the cage, so did Lucas. Lucas accidently stepped on something creaky! “shhh!” whispered Lucy. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to step on that creaky thing on the floor” whispered back Lucas. There was footstep coming towards us so, we got in position! 

The footsteps stopped suddenly. Lucy peaked out the bars again and almost got caught! It was then that Lucy and Lucas saw it: a dark shadow-shape heaved towards them; a huge body with a grotesque mask that looked horrifying; holding a gun in his hands. 

But it disappeared and said, “I’m behind you!” Lucy looked behind her and there it was behind her eating the ham sandwich and never was seen after that… 

Chapter 2 

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t know that wasn’t supposed to be touched!” murmured lucy. The young women didn’t look happy, but she said, “don’t be scared follow me”. Lucy wondered where she was going, or it was going to be a trap! She was leading her to another door. “Is this the way back?” said Lucy, while hoping it was the way back home because she had no clue how to get back. The young women opened the door, “welcome to the tropical beach!”. Lucy walks through the door and realises it was a tropical beach that it abandoned because the shed was almost gone, there was weeds around the shed that is technically gone. 

Dolphins leaped out of the water, surrounding an island nearby. She was watching the tide come in closer and closer. Lucy cheered happily, she jumped in the water and swam with the dolphins and became a mermaid because the water was magical, but Lucy had no idea she wanted to stay forever although she missed her family. Lucy got called in from the young women, so she tried to come out and turned human again Lucy realises before her eyes that the water was magical! She rushed to the young women and Lucy said “yes” in question “goodbye Lucy, enjoy!” before the young women slammed the door shut. “NO!” shouted lucy. 

Lucy knew it was a trap! She wondered for a moment while tapping her hand on her lap repeatedly. Lucy walked to the dolphins again and asked the dolphins questions, to see if they understand me of sending me sign to do or how to escape. The dolphins kept on surrounding Lucy like they’re telling her to do something. She stood up then the dolphins told her to get on one of them. Lucy picked the dolphin to ride to somewhere, “where are we going?” wondered Lucy while looking around. 

The dolphins kept on squawking to each other like a plan on how to get there or another plan to get herself trapped but Lucy just went along with them. Lucy had arrived but it turned out to be the island in the distance that you can see from the land. “It’s way more beautiful than I could ever imagine!” exclaimed Lucy. She went on the island and saw other people here to that have been stuck but they’re in cages lucy thought this was a palace of the owner of this world. It turned out to be jail and that moment later Lucy was trapped in a cage with a male.                    

The Secret Emporium Prologue 

They may be some places no one has been before. The Secret Emporium was kind of like that. 

Even though at Halloween, the gardens are spooky or coloured lights sparkle like gemstones glittering. Even though, the costumes seemed to be real and would scare you away or creep you. Even though, the displays were piled high with rainbow coloured sweets of every shape and size, like a treasure chest over spilling.        

But no one ever entered. The cupboard was covered in cobwebs. It was as if the cupboard was made for Halloween time, but no one enters. Not until Lucy found the cupboard. 

Chapter 1 – Through the Door 

Lucy had always been curious, and her mother had often warned her that it would lead into trouble. One lovely morning, she was in her mum’s room cleaning when she saw something unusual about the cupboard. For once, the cupboard was whispering Lucy’s name, so she secretly sneaked into the cupboard. Without thinking about it. 

Everything she looked at, it was packed with secrets and questions that she wanted to touch. She saw a silver cage of canaries hanging from the ceiling and their song filled the dark room. A massive mansion on a shelf with light reflecting on to it, casting shadows. Loads of hand painted pictures hanging on the wall together. On one counter, a bowl of sweets glittered invitingly. There was a display of phones ring one by one, plastic fruits and China dolls singing along. Coloured bamboo umbrellas swung from a wooden beam making seem as if the ceiling was rainbow. But what interested Lucy most all was an old leather-bound book. As she turned the pages, the writing seemed to spring alive, and the letter swarmed like ants forming different pictures. 

“I see you’ve found my book of wondered,” hissed a voice. Lucy suddenly stopped and closed the book and look up to the shop keeper. She was a young woman whose eyes shone like rubies. On her shoulder perched a rainbow parrot. It shook its head disapprovingly. 

My treasures 

If I were summoned  

to create a treasure, 

I would take: 

the fluff from my furry cat, 

the whisper of her beacon meow 

And the playtime with her, 

the flavour from fresh ice cream, 

the drizzle of the chocolate sauce 

like venom dripping from a bottle, 

The excitement from Blackpool Pleasure Beach, 

the joy I shared with everyone 

and the love I shared. 

the scent of yummy sugary food, 

the taste of sweeties  

and the sour taste of lemons, 

the voice of a celebrity singer like a dream, 

the enjoyment of singing along 

And the sweeties, 

The activity of skills from the past, 

And moving on to something new you’ve never done 

like a moving truck going away to a whole new world, 

The electronics skills keep on getting gained, 

and games screaming their heads off loudly  

like a beastly lion going crazy and wild.
