I’ve never jumped off of Mount Everest,

but I have jumped on the trampoline in gravity.

I’ve never travelled to Korea,

but I have driven to the workhouse in Gressenhall.

I’ve never swam to Greece,

but I have floated in a pool at Thetford swimming centre.

I’ve never held an alligator,

but I have cuddled a burmese python.

I’ve never ridden a horse ,

but I have driven a car in Lego Land.

I’ve never seen a raptor dancing with Barney,

but I have visualised Lexi doing a cartwheel.

I’ve never hugged a giant panda,

but I have kissed a two toed sloth.

I’ve never ridden an elephant in Africa,

But I have driven a golf cart in Haverhill. 

Finally, they were ready to set off.

Midday, when Payton [the youngest of the three and the hungry one] finally fell asleep in Pastel’s [the oldest one of the trio and the smats one ] tunic, Phoenix [the middle child is the bravest one of the three is the weird one ] received a message from a little red robin and when she opened it, it said “beware the Gorm are near Pinecone warren”. They are in immediate  danger. The ancient Pinecone Warren was paw-made by the little rabbits who first created it. The warren walls were too delicate, one loud scream would make it crumble. The little rabbits knew their small burrow at Pinecone would never survive an attack like that.

And so it was that all three rabbits Pastel, Phoenix and Payton set off and left the nice, warm feeling of being in their cosy warm burrow. Their journey was going to take many days, no weeks. They are going to have to go through Ruby Mine, Purr Land and their safe destination  is Gloomy Burrow.

Even the mighty Gorm would not dare to  approach this gloomy realm, their rusted, scarlett red eyes could not see a thing and they couldn’t cross the magic bridge without the secret code but they needed the cloth around Starclaw because it carried the correct code. Their mother gifted them an ancient map that had all the secret underground passageways so they would be unseen by the powerful Gorm.

Desperate and tightly gripping on to the ancient map, scared to even let one drop of a sun ray touch the map, they put it with Payton in Pastel’s tunic. Bravely, Pastel ran and grabbed Phoenix’s hand and ran past all the booming music and commotion in the farmer’s market on to Ruby Mine.

When the trio arrived at Ruby Mine, the rabbits asked if they could bunk with the Axolotls. The Chieftain, who checked their eyes to make sure they were not as red as the Gorm, agreed. Pastel said they would be safe here for tonight. When they were shown their room they fell asleep in their nice warm bed.

That evening, while the kittens woke up from their nap and they came into the dinning room then the Chieftain said to the trio of rabbits to take  a seat Phoenix had managed to bring a bowl of roasted cucumber, some strawberry tips and a cluster of clover bread. Payton was stuffed and fell asleep in Pastel’s tunic. After dinner they were exhausted  and went up to their bedroom. Payton and Phoenix were passed out on the bed. Pastel peaked through the window and tightly crossed the curtains over and looked at the big elder door.

Pastel found sleep very hard, tossing and turning her mind and all of the nasty images just came back to her. Every time she closed her eyes all she could she was the gorm’s shadows coming closer and closer. Would we ever reach the Gloomy Burrow alive?

The trio of rabbits ran as fast as they could down the stairs in Ruby Mine before the sun arose. When Phoenix and Payton sat down for breakfast, Pastel stood up and  peeked through the peephole because she heard a scratching noise. She gave out a huge sigh of relief  when she saw it was the little message robin and he said the Gorm were on their way destroying everything that the rabbits loved. Phoenix overheard and pulled out the ancient map looking for somewhere safe to stay and Payton suggested an old barn Purr Land .

As they trudged along, Stone Valley the forest they passed was dead silent. Apparently, there had been a snowstorm and up ahead there was a huge snow ramp that they had to pass in order to get to the old barn.

Several hours later, the weary trio found themselves heading towards Purr Land’s old barn. Phoenix shoved  Pastel and said  “Look, the scout’s are trooping around the area, how will we ever get in?’’.  Payton found an entry point so Phoenix grabbed Payton and said “You are an amazing brother.” Pastel said “Hurry up you two we can tell each other how much we love them when we are safe.”  When the trio  found the barn and stepped in, they saw patches of urine, straw scattered on the floor, a rusty bucket, eight Andalusian horses and two Friesian horses. When  they moved forward, they saw a ton of engraved saddles and as night struck they could hear the horses groaning in pain, owl’s twooting and the wolves howling at the bright full moon.     

When they woke up in the morning, the pink clouds were drifting around the sky, but  they heard the wind making the majestical orange trees sway. Then they saw a cat limo pull up on the crusty dusty path and a cat agent came out of the car and took a cage out of his hands, which was covered up with a blanket. Underneath was an empty cage where a pink goblin was supposed to be but when they saw it was empty, they made every cat leave the premises because it would kill every creature including the Gorm.

From what the rabbits could hear, a pink goblin had escaped and if it found you, which it most definitely would because it has a great sense of smell, it would be certain to kill you. 

While Phonix looked for a safe way out without the pink goblin  attacking them, Payton said “Why don’t we climb out instead of walking or running?” 

When Pastel said “great idea Payton Phoenix can you pass me Payton i will carry him”Phoenix said “alright”the rabbit’s whent to go  climb when they started to climb and they were up high Pastel saw that the pink goblin could climb. Will we ever make it out alive?

With  a flash Pastel saw scar’s shadow behind her .He is one of the Gorm leader’s and when Pastel  saw scar she found something weird he had a pink goblin following him, all of a sudden she remembered what the bunny agent said it will not give up until you are dead if you are in it’s way then . Cautiously,the three rabbits ran into a dark cave in the mountain to hide and have a little break. All you could hear was Scar screaming and roaring. As the rabbits ran away while the pink goblin was busy shredding the Gorm . They were taking a big risk running from the pink goblin Pastel said “are you ok phoenix “ he said “ yes” as if he was traumatised from what he saw .

With the sound of the pink goblins rustling in the bushes behind the three rabbits, they ran as fast as their little feet could carry their weight. They ran away from the goblin and ran from the dangers from behind them and they could see the safety ahead.

After many hours travelling on, Payton said “look there’s another cave it should be a little bit safer.” Pastel said, ”You have done it again brother, you are a genius.” Relieved, Poppy ran, grabbing Phoenix’s hand and pulling him into the cave.

Pulling back all of the ivy dangling on the entrance so it looks like a wall, it was dark, dirty and covered in cobwebs but the three rabbits didn’t care, they were in a safe place for now. Suddenly, Pastel thought let us have some stinger for dinner.

Snuggling together for warmth they realised that they had  their present from their father  to be open. It was covered up in linen cloth. It had a bit of weight to it and I could feel the sharp edges on the item.

When they unwrapped the gift  they saw the one and only Scabsore, the  magic weapon that their father owned,  but that meant the father used a normal hatchet. All these years because they have never seen him wheel it. They all had a moment of silence for their family  members after that they packed up and set back off.

Pastel was the only one awake, dragging Phoenix behind her. Up ahead, she could see the safe haven but there was a problem: the Gorm is the only thing stopping them from passing.
