The Emporium by Levi

CHAPTER TWO

The man returned with a pen in his hand.

“Take this pen”called the owner, glaring at Benjamin.

“What am I supposed to do with this” Benjamin asked, wondering what the pen does.

“Why don’t you write in the book you held,” exclaimed the owner, staring at Benjamin.

Benjamin turned to the book and peeled a hidden label it say’d Tobi’s wonders. Benjamin was confused wondering who’s Tobi and a thought came to his mind Tobi is the shop owner. The book seemed to be calling Benjamin and intrigued him closer and closer to the book and Benjamin rushed to the door that he heard close when Tobi left and saw a huge amount of stairs and wondered where it all led to.

Turning back, to the book he took it and opened it. He turned each page with nothing in his mind. There were mansions, tree houses, fields and flowers with cows and pigs made out of gold and silver it was beautiful.

Benjamin picked up the pen that Tobi gave him and went to a clean page and wrote. He drew houses and factories that do not make the world bad and the one thing he wished for all his life was in it.

After he finished writing and drawing he remembered the huge amount of stairs and decided to go down it. When he got to the bottom Benjamin was amazed. It was huge amount of doors 100+. Some doors were broke and some were new but one of them was freshly made with a title that said Benjamin. He was so excited and without thought he entered.

He stepped into a mansion and every thing was golden and posh. He ra. Outside seeing factories that do not make the world bad and every thing he imagined was there. He was most exited about the things he longed for the most he ran back to the mansion.

The Emporium by Levi

Prologue

The Emporium sat in the dark corner. Strangers walked past not giving the Emporium a second glimpse. Thunder and lightning gushed like a volcano erupting. Even though light was off in the Emporium, strange noises were heard from the Emporium so that’s why every one avoided it until Benjamin.

Chapter one

Benjamin saw a door that was the same as any other old door but looked different when he pasted by it 2 days ago so without any thought he went into it. Intriguingly, everywhere he looked the objects were ancient. Bells chimed every minute, potions bubbled and popped as Benjamin walked past the drawers. High upon the tall shelf. As he slowly opened the drawers watches and clocks were smashed and broke but still worked. A jar fully filled to the brim, filled the air with that musty and and rotten smell like when you leave food out for a long time. There was a specific cup board that was very how do you say it mysterious and when he opened it there was a very old dusty book. Benjamin picked it up and wiped the front cover and it said BOOK OF WONDERS. “I see you found my book” said a soft voice. Benjamin jumped “sorry sir” exclaimed  Benjamin quickly putting the book away but by the time Benjamin turned around the man was gone though a red velvet curtain.

The magic emporium

The magic emporium.

There are many shops that are filled with costumers, but there also ones which no one ever entered the emporium was like that.

Every day in the emporium the lights are on and a billion aromas fill the air yet no one ever entered. A set of budgies sat singing on there perches. Although there were sounds of popcorn popping and people laughing yet nobody entered.

Ash had always despised what his parents had said unless it was something that he liked.
He was biking down a narrow cramped side road. He got off his bike as he saw something glimmer through the shop window.

Ash stared at the wonders through the double glazed he stepped into the shop and watched as two ancient ravens swooped past him. There was a set of engraved pocket watches that lay on the counter, but the only thing that didn’t glimmer was a large leather bound book. He flicked through the pages and the pictures began to come to life like a video from an iPhone like it was all real.

“Ahah I see you have found my book of curiosity” came a deep voice from the shadows.
“But what ever you do do not write in the book” it said again.

Pterodactyl by Levi

If i were summoned

to create a treasure

i would take:

People screaming like a Pterodactyl

The last stroke of lightning on earth

and the finale note from star wars.

Liverpool shouting when theywin

The sight of caring friends

and my beautiful grandparents on zoom.

Fresh pizza with ham and pineapple

Beautiful croissants filling the air

and roasted chicken from KFC when you bite into the crust.

The satisfying keys tapping on a computer

soft clothes that have just been ironed.

If I were a door

If I were a blue door,
I would show you
A path of blue bells waiting to be explored,
Or a king fisher diving into the water,
And a Pandemonium of macaws flying over your head.

If I were a pink door,
I would take you to see,
A group of lotus flowers swirling through a river,
A pink panther attacking a lion,
And a pink panda eating its’ bamboo.

If I were an orange door
I would stop you,
From being eaten by a hungry tiger,
From touching a bird of paradise flower,
Or being tangled by an octopus.

If I were an emerald door,
I would take you,
To the never ending pit of Tartarus,
To the eye of the fiercest storm,
To the hottest point of the volcano Pompeii.

If I were a yellow door,
I would watch you,
Race a common seahorse,
Hold an eyelash viper,
Climb a golden crumpet tree.

If I were a red door,
I would give you,
A Bichromatic Tourmaline Crystal Gem,
A parrot red lory,
And a collection of poinsettia flowers

In the magical emporium

In the room of magical mirrors,
The mirrors reflected my dreams.

In the room of mechanisms,
my body turned to cogs.

In the room of books,
The settings came to life.

in the room of the future,
My clothes flooded with neon light.

In the room of fire flies,
The light was in my body.

Prologue

You have probably been on a air ship, when the sky is warm and fresh the breeze often blowing carelessly through your hair. Remember how you felt, so alive like you was on-top of the world

I bet you enjoyed flying with your grandparents just, so you can get away from your little brother.

Have you also been on a airship when the sky rocks with thunder and the clouds are as dark as night. When you grab the steering hard thats when airships aren’t so fun.

And some people say they’ve seen devils flying through the air trying to rip the balloon narrowly missing the empire state building.

Story opening.

Robin loved the air after all he had grown up on it. The only thing that Robin could keep himself company, who are standing on top of the airships balloon, grabbing the rope before swinging on to the top deck, but now it was different.

He grabbed his bow and arrow from his leather quiver. He steadied his aim and let go of the arrow which fizzed through the air with tremendous speed. Although Robin didn’t believe in dragons he now realised that any thing could be possible.

The dragon had caused tremendous damage and the air was pouring out at speed. If Robin didn’t do something soon then they would be plummeting down  to death Robin grabbed a large square of cloth and stuck it down were the dragon had ripped six claw marks and let the air stay in which meant that the air balloon sat nicely on the air.
