The Emporium by Levi

Prologue

The Emporium sat in the dark corner. Strangers walked past not giving the Emporium a second glimpse. Thunder and lightning gushed like a volcano erupting. Even though light was off in the Emporium, strange noises were heard from the Emporium so that’s why every one avoided it until Benjamin.

Chapter one

Benjamin saw a door that was the same as any other old door but looked different when he pasted by it 2 days ago so without any thought he went into it. Intriguingly, everywhere he looked the objects were ancient. Bells chimed every minute, potions bubbled and popped as Benjamin walked past the drawers. High upon the tall shelf. As he slowly opened the drawers watches and clocks were smashed and broke but still worked. A jar fully filled to the brim, filled the air with that musty and and rotten smell like when you leave food out for a long time. There was a specific cup board that was very how do you say it mysterious and when he opened it there was a very old dusty book. Benjamin picked it up and wiped the front cover and it said BOOK OF WONDERS. “I see you found my book” said a soft voice. Benjamin jumped “sorry sir” exclaimed  Benjamin quickly putting the book away but by the time Benjamin turned around the man was gone though a red velvet curtain.
