The islands

On the island of cotton-candy
I saw world wide wonders,
pink fluffy petals wandering off from its flowers.

On the island of heaven
I heard angels singing,
creamy clouds shining bright in the background.

On the island of time
the clocks made their beat.

On the island of honey
the honey-makers flew from flower to flower,
the only colour in the world.

Wolf

Laying behind a tree,
marine eyes locked on the deer that passes by,
licking its paws and hunched-shoulders,
watching every move the deer takes.

Standing up,
its finally getting ready,
moving its way to the next tree.
Silent-hunter trying not to make a sound.

Finally it made its move,
making no sound.
Sprinting jaws wide open,
ready to catch the deer,
jumping up catching it by its neck.
Meat-muncher finally caught its dinner.

The Minnesota Wolf

Innocent white eyes stare out at its prey,
laying down, hunched shoulders licking its paws,
getting ready to walk away.

Vanilla fur blending with the snow,
standing up, feeling hungry,
it walks to find its prey.

Ears twitch and finally it hears something crunching in the snow.
Sitting behind a tree watching, the deer walk around,
it licks its lips ready to have its feast.

Mouth wide open, ivory teeth appeared between the jaws,
its long soft tongue moved around its mouth.

Wonder

Take a sight of the clear ocean while sitting on the soft warm sand. Sprinkle sugar onto the spoon and pour it into the cup take a sip from the warm sugary tea. I would take the taste of delicious cheesecake I would take the taste of apple pie and see if it was delicious. I would blend amazement like a volcano erupting. I would take the smell of freshly fruits.

Emporium

It was the most shocking thing that Charlotte had seen before. She thought it was fake, she had never seen a animal like that. “Did you actually draw a tiger in the book?” said Felix looking stunned at what she drawn in the book. “Well yes.” she replied. Felix went off to a different room, while some jungle creatures slid through a open part that was the jungle door. A was a Okapi that looked like it was foraging for food for hours; a Capybara looking down at the floor like the floor was a swamp. “Felix” Charlotte called, Felix left the room he was in and came to her “how did this tiger get in here?” he said furiously, “can’t you see the blood on it, It’s obviously in bad condition that’s why it chased us to get help” she said looking sad for the tiger. “Alright we can help it” Felix said. #

But then they heard it. Banging in another room. Luckily Felix was brave enough to go in the room and see what it was but nothing was there he kept searching rooms but still there was nothing. All three animals hid behind her like there was something going to pop out of nowhere. Charlotte didn’t feel safe but she wanted to try to take care of the animals and not let them get hurt. Couple minutes later the animals fell asleep.

Suddenly, the door opened a little Charlotte ran into the room next to her dragging the animals along the door creaked she could tell something or someone was coming out of the room. “Charlotte? where are you?.” Said Felix, she opened the door and saw him waiting for her to come out
“right here” she said and then that’s when they both saw a dark shadow from the door that Felix was last in. “hurry this way” he said looking confused.

The shadow had disappeared from the other room but when Charlotte was going to say something Felix wasn’t there, she heard banging on the door and a familiar voice yelled “Charlotte are you in there” said Felix with a worried voice, “Yes kind of stuck in here” she replied. “Come…back” a voice hissed behind her and there it was the shadow that looked like a human snake then it disappeared out of nowhere the door barged open when it disappeared and then Charlotte was back in.

Emporium story Chapter 4

Emporium story Chapter 4 part 2
On the other side of the door, Charlotte rubbed her eyes like she was asleep and sat up off the floor. But unexpectedly Mr. Manor stared at her like she was some sort of creature. “I see now that you have decided to come back to us. Did you find what you were looking for?” Charlotte shook her head looking very disappointed the door opened it was Felix but as soon as he got in Mr. Manor said “did I not tell you to write in the book just remember you will not forget what you have done” Charlotte nodded she looked as if she was going to cry. Felix walked next to her. “Father what did you do? can’t you see she’s upset?” He said looking quite furious at what his father said to her. “it’s okay, but thank you for helping” Charlotte replied to Felix. “are you sure?” he replied, she didn’t reply. “the emporium will always be open if you want to come back and visit Felix so you two can visit rooms that he has made they are quite exciting.” Mr. Manor said to Charlotte with a smile on his face like nothing had happen. “okay! that sounds fine” she replied looking quite confused that he ever said that with a big smile. She looked up and noticed the robin just like the one she saw watching her as she walked in her house. Felix dragged Charlotte to a corner “what are you doing?” she said to him “Listen my father is dangerous so don’t even think about talking to him if he ever says anything to you say nothing and let me know what he says, got it?” Felix said not frowning but he looked mad. “why?” she replied looking very confused at what he said. “My father as done this a lot of times to people and he warned me not to say anything to you but I had to” replied Felix, he walked away when she was about to say something. But she walked and left the shop. Charlotte thought that maybe tomorrow she could come back to the emporium to see Felix again but she thought about what Felix said maybe she was wrong about Mr. Manors personality maybe he is actually rude and dangerous. She walked to the emporium and looked in the window and Mr. Manor was shouting at Felix then he turned and looked out the window he looked so shocked but then Felix turned and looked perfectly normal but it was very hard to notice a tear down his face. Then there it was the shop disappeared.

Through

Through the doors

Go and open the ocean door.
Maybe, you’ll find yourself in the sea
with the catfish and maybe you’ll see
some deadly sharks hunting for its prey.

Go and open the blood red door.
Maybe, you’ll see blood dripping
from the ceiling onto your head.

Go and open the mint door.
Maybe, you’ll smell mint
wondering around the room.

Go and open the flower door.
Maybe, you’ll see some daisy’s
growing from the ground.

Go and open the maze door.
Maybe, you’ll find it puzzling to get
out off the olive hedge.

Go and open the glass door.
Maybe, you’ll see glass
shattering everywhere.

The River Giant

The River Giant

The river giant is a type of giant that has become very famous. Could you recognize a female river giant
if you saw one? They are rare to find since they can blend in with the water.

The skin colour of female giants is silver but the male giants are different because they have the skin colour of river water. The eye colour of the male giants are grey and the female eyes are green. Like most giants they have long legs and the shape of their head is oval.

The river giant lives in the water with its exceptional talent; holding its breath for a long time. It finds a cave in the water and lays in there until morning. It also drinks from the water and feeds on fish. It is used to be in cold water so in winter when the lake freezes it finds another lake. The river giant does not like salt water; it skin will go hard and begin to peel off but it can grow back once its back in its natural habitat.

The river giant is very rare and can only be found in 1% of rivers and can barely be seen due to it’s camouflage.

Chapter 2

Autumn stared at the Tasmanian Tiger then they both went up the stairs and left out of the door and left the school. Outside, Autumn looked up at the sky and it was night. Autumn walked back into the school and got a flashlight and turned back, she shined it on the Tasmanian Tiger. The fur was sandy yellowish and the stripes were on the rump and the base of the Tasmanians tail is brown and the eyes are brown. The Tasmanian was only small like a baby one.

The Tasmanian tiger looked behind as if there was something there but there was nothing. Autumn heard a noise coming from math class. She decided to name the Tasmanian tiger Yuliya. Autumn and Yuliya left the school and went for a walk, she knew it was dark but she also knew that she had a flashlight, before she knew it she had to go back home. She knew her mum would be scared of Yuliya, Autumn turned back and ran back home and Yuliya followed. After they both arrived back home they both went to Autumn’s room Yuliya sat on Autumn’s lap.

“She likes you” said Ms Michelle entering the room, Autumn could not help but smile. Yuliya jumped out of Autumns lap and hid under the bed. “It’s okay, come on out” said Autumn. Yuliya came out from under the bed and hopped back on the bed. She led down next to Autumn and all was at peace within the world.

Part 1 SWW

Part 1

Autumn gazed out of the window and looked at the bright green fields, there was an old looking cottage. Vines dangled from top to bottom of the cottage and there were dead trees and flowers that looked like they hadn’t been watered in days.

At school Autumn was having trouble making friends. At the moment she only had three friends Liam, Charlotte and Ellie, “Its quite hard to make friends here” Said Charlotte
“I agree” said Liam and Ellie. At lunch the teacher let the class eat outside, after lunch it was English. Autumn was in year 2 she didn’t understand a lot of Math and English but she is kind and helpful.

Back at home, for dinner they had a bowl of vegetables, Pork Sausages and Karo syrup, Autumn went and fed her pet dog named Oreo.
Autumn was thinking about her mum and dad because when she evacuated from the city and she got separated from her parents, she had to live with someone else. My dad is busy fighting in the war and my mum is working in the hospital.

In the school a book corner sits in the corner of the classroom. Desks lined in rows are duly pale, pictures of the children’s school years are spread across the walls.

There is no pictures of Autumn on the walls as she is an evacuee, well she is on the evacuee picture wall. She sees Mrs Coral creeping into the school. Autumn climbs out of her unique, birch wood window eager to follow her.
As she is running towards the school she passes: A collection of trees and the bakery.

She just saw Mrs Coral go into the basement underneath the floor. Eagerly she follows Mrs Coral into the basement, Autumn gasped a Tasmanian Tiger, as she thought they were extinct! As she hears the door lock behind her. Autumn put her hand on the Tasmanian Tiger and stoked it and its paw on the wall and pressed down a brick, the door swung open.
