Should Fairies be captured?

We have been discussing whether or not fairies should be captured. This is an important topic at the moment since multiple fairies have been spotted in the local area and many people are frightened.

The majority of the local area think that fairies should be captured because they are well known for feeding off the soul of young children if they don’t believe in them. Additionally, fairies can destroy humans and even animals! Furthermore, people argue that fairies are cold-hearted and most take the life out of humans which makes the human population low.

On the other hand, some people argue that fairies should be given a second chance to prove that they mean no harm to the locals. Furthermore, it’s suggested by the government that the local council talk to the fairies about their behaviour so that fairies and humans can be trusted to live side by side with no conflict. Some people in the local area have pointed out that fairies can produce tons of greenery to help the environment and clear the mist on a foggy day.

Having considered all the arguments, I believe that we should try to live alongside these beautiful, small creatures rather than chasing and capturing them. My main reason for this conclusion is that in the early times of spring the fairies can plant lots of flowers, plants and bushes and can protect the local area in case of a troll attack.

Telekinetic Dragon

Telekinetic Dragon

There are many different breeds of dragon and one of the most feared is the Telekinetic Dragon. Very little is known about this breed of species because it’s rarely ever seen by any dragonologist in the world.

Would you be able to recognise a Telekinetic Dragon if you saw one? Probably not because they’re so rare. Like most dragons, they have a long tail, the body of a horse and excellent eyesight. Typically, they are a midnight black colour with a hint of green on their tail and back. However, a few that have been spotted are dark green with black scales. This allows them to camouflage in the sky at night and fly freely. Furthermore, they have sharp but amazing teeth made of iron and their tail are covered in small computer chips which are green. The main feature of a Telekinetic Dragon is that it can move people with their minds, it is activated when their eyes go blood red, normally they have blue and purple eyes but some have been spotted with lightning bolts in them.

No one actually knows where the Telekinetic Dragons live. It is thought that they stay in the forbidden forest as no one ever goes there. If you wish to see a Telekinetic Dragon, then you should go to a quiet but full of technology place, when dusk is falling. However, you will need to keep quiet and be patient. Remember to take some type of technology that you don’t use as it helps them with their power and be smarter.

Are Telekinetic Dragons dangerous? Many people believe that they are because they have the ability to control people’s body with their minds. Children and adults have disappeared after seeing a Telekinetic Dragon and it is believed that they have been seen floating in the sky. Unfortunately, if you go too close to them you have the risk of your body being controlled! So anyone curious enough to track a Telekinetic Dragon should be extremely careful and should always be five metres away from them.

Bloodway Forest

Stealthily, I crept down the stairs, dodging the fourth step in case it creaked. At the bottom, I came to a halt but all that I heard was silence. In case your wondering, I’m Tia and my adoptive parents won’t let me go to an amazing forest. Anyway back to the story, I looked around frantically, looking for an escape of some sort. Soon enough, I spotted a paper white, modern door and decided to approach it. I slowly opened the door. Outside, it was scattered with trees, bushes and different kinds of wildlife.

A couple minutes later, I found my way to Bloodway Forest. I found an opening which was covered in vines with all sorts of flowers on. I moved the vines out of the way and inside tall trees towered overhead and sunlight filtered through the branches, casting ebony shadows. At one side of the forest, was a glittering stream and a few bees buzzed busily. I sat on a patch of emerald green grass. My mind couldn’t help bring back the memory of when I first saw the dark purple, scaley dragon. Soon enough, my head switched off and I drifted of to sleep, dreaming of crystal towers, witches and wizards and dragons. Which made a little movie in my head.

Later, I woke up with a start. The sun had already set and dusk was rising. The sun has slipped behind the trees, casting charred shadows across the tangled branches. I shivered. I heard the sound of a twig snap in the distance. Someone or something was moving towards me! I squinted my eyes, there was a vague silhouette heading towards me. It was a bloodstained head, blood drooled out of the eyes and mouth. I shrieked as loud as I could.

With my dreams of dragons left behind, I ran as fast as I could. Branches whipped at my face and brambles tore at my feet. My heart thudded as I ran. I was sure I could hear something behind me. I soon came to the end of Bloodway Forest. There was a busy road in front of me, cars zoomed past, making a gust of wind slime my cheek. I looked at the forest, it was completely silent.

I ran home. Shaking all the way there, I never went there again. Until 5 years later, there was a school field trip to Bloodway Forest.

The Fight

Darcy flung open the classroom door and slumped into an empty plastic chair. Mr Snake glared at her through the corner of his eye and carried on ranting about Decimals. Her face scrunched up and she rolled her eyes. She couldn’t forget what happened in the corridor after break time.

A few moments later, Harriet casually opened the classroom door and sat on a plastic chair next to Darcy, who gave her an irritated stare. “Glad you could join us Miss Melloy, Miss Palin,” announced Mr Snake, “You got here just in time for decimal word problems.”

Darcy wrestled out a notebook and pencil. But Harriet casually got out her notebook and pencil. Darcy gave her best impression of paying close attention to the lesson, whilst Harriet drank in every word.

Winter poem by Lilly STC

Frosted grass catches
the sunlight-it shines
like glass shards.

Iced trees taking
in the misty breeze
like fairies bumping into humans.

Snow drifts across the city
in a misty way; soft and white snow
kidnaps the streets.

Sharp icicles drip down
onto the windowsill
like water drips on the floor.

Pointy snowflakes
as soft as a
newly made piece of dough.

Hot chicken dinners with
delicious turkey for main.
Children drink warm cocoa
whilst the cold snowstorm goes on.

Savoury, salty spices
fill my nostrils with
utter hunger.

Secret Witches

“Hurry up,Sky!” growled a dark silhouette standing at the bottom of the stairs. Sky groaned and grabbed her black satchel. She ran down the grey stairs to see her strict teacher and the other girls waiting for her. Just as Sky was about to walk out, her black and white Siberian husky ran to her.
“Lunar, you can’t come with me.” Sky whispered. Suddenly Lunar barked, she heard someone at the door. Sky turned to the figure. She walked into the building and hugged Sky. Sky looked at her, surprised, and as quick as a flash pushed her off, making the figure fall to the floor.
