The Rising Rose Part 3 Lily

 

It was morning and they were all fixing up the Rising Rose. This time Pan was actually gone. Josh said that it was all fixed. They hopped on and flew without their beloved Pan.

Part 3

Upset by losing one of their crew members, Josh and Charlotte decided to have a party with pictures of Pan and cake and lots of other stuff. Captain Sue told the crew to go and find some berries to keep them busy while they set up.

Suddenly, there was a scratching noise. The Captain and the children stood still. “Miep!” Josh tiptoed to the edge and gasped. “It’s a…” he didn’t know what it was but he helped it up. Was it Pan dressed up? Or maybe it was a creature?

Captain Sue, who was scared, grabbed a blanket and Searched up what that thing was. When he came back the animal had helped the kids to set up the party!
“This is not helpful.” exclaimed Sue. The crew were already back and were staring and plying at the wonderful creature. The Captain told the children what the thing was.

” A… ” she paused then fell! What was going on?

What is…? Lily

What is calm? Sitting on the beach watching the waves washing in and out,
What is loud? Strumming an electric guitar whilst screaming.

What is cold? An ice cube melting slowly in my mouth,
What is hot? A Hot chocolate cooling in my hands.

What is tiny? Ant legs crawling across the pavement,
What is large? The whole universe in my local church.

What is cute? A puppy cuddled up in my arms,
What is gross? A red and green mouldy egg.

What is clean? My hair after it’s been washed and brushed,
What is dirty? My brother after a very long walk in the mud

I have never, but I have…

I have never eaten the musical moon,
but I have eaten a white ball of gum.

I have never kicked a brick house and made it fall over,
but I have kicked a football in the goal six times in a row.

I have never caught a shark,
but I have caught five mackerel in a fishermans boat.

I have never been able to get away from my brother Zac,
but I have been able to spend some time in my room.

I have never trusted Lion teeth,
but I have trusted normal house pets.

I have have never been squashed by an elephants foot,
but I have been scratched by my dog Poppy.

Rainbow dragons Lily SWW

There are lots of different types of dragons but this particular one is a very rare. People have been trying to search for it for thousands of years. What about if I told you a bit about this legendary Rainbow dragon? Because I myself have seen one.

Amazingly, they have scales that are the colour of the rainbow. Like most dragons, they have black eyes and can see for miles. What is extraordinary about Rainbow dragons is that they only come out when there is a rainbow. They blend in to the rainbow with their scales. They can say real words but only a few like, hello, what are you doing and kind stuff like that.

Are you wondering where a Rainbow dragon lives? Well, they are very hard to spot as they are camouflage to the rainbow. They live in the chest at the end of the rainbow and come out friendly if there is someone there. You will manage to catch one if you are friendly and you might be able to take it home with you, because they can grow up to 1 meter.

Here are some interesting facts about a Rainbow dragon…
They love humans and you can feed them anything that is NOT vegetables. If you would like to get one I advise extreme caution because most of them are not very nice. They start of in a rainbow egg that is beautiful and very fragile.

Now that you’ve learned some things about them you can start trying to spot some. But otherwise keep on reading this over and over again so you actually can catch one.

The shed, Suspense paragraph writing Lily SWW

It was a chilly morning. Millie stepped in front of the garden shed and took a deep breath. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a golden key. Then Millie pushed the key into the keyhole. She stepped inside and found it Tidy for once. As she went in further the door slammed shut behind her. Millie spun around squinting at the dark door. She tiptoed across the wooden floor minding where she stepped.

When she reached the door, she shoved it thinking it would open. CREEEK!
“Hello. Who’s there?” questioned Millie. There it was again. She searched for the shed key.

She found her phone in her pocket, instead, and turned the torch on. What she found was awful; her old CD from singing at school, she hated it, so she crushed it with her foot. Then her torch flickered the hairs on her neck raised until she felt it on her jumper.

Then the door swung open, she felt like she couldn’t move. Luckily, it was only her dad trying to see what she was doing taking so long to get a spade.

The play – Lily SWW

Eva stood on the stage waiting for the play to start. Then, the church door swung open.
“Here I am everyone!” exclaimed Jamie, Climbing on top of the crowd. He got his costume on and nearly knocked Eva over whilst getting onto the stage.

Eva was next to Jamie when he started singing. Miss debt stared to get angry.
” JAMIE STOP SINGING!” She shouted
Finally the play carried on going.

The play went perfectly well and all the children sang their hearts out, the parents roared with joy and Jamie held a smile on his face.

The play finished and they all left except from, Jamie who was planning his next move.

The eyes

Emily looked into the box, two pairs of eyes stared back at her. She jumped back and ran downstairs. Looking behind her and the eyes were following her. Thunder was loud making it more scary. Emily grabbed a cricket bat, held it up, turned around and the face was gone. Her knees wobbled, her hairs spiked up, and then the bat fell out of her hand and made a BANG! Emily could sense the eyes getting closer. ” Go away,” she whispered. “Go away.” Her voice getting louder. “GO AWAY!” There was silence. She creeped back upstairs and was now more cautious of anything else creeping up on her.
