Chapter 3: In the room

Emily stared at the room after she was pushed in by Fig. She was amazed by the things she saw: flowers along the path, huge colourful gardens, limousines and a beautiful palace. Quickly, she ran to the palace and her face was bright red from running. When she reached the door, she realized it was slightly open. She crept in and noticed servants tidying the hall up. Nearby, was a dress covered in roses. She had an idea.

As she glided through the palace, looking like a princess, everyone bowed at her politely. When she reached a room her mind recognised it.

“Hello” whispered Emily. ”

Leave, I know you lived here once!” hissed a voice back. Wasting no time, Emily, took off the dress, ran to the door and tried to find the door back to the Emporium.

There was no door!

Emily shivered which made the man come closer a few steps. A deafening screech filled the air. An owl fluttered down onto the man’s shoulder and then smoke filled the air. They were moving!

Chapter 2: In the wrong

Where were they going? Was Emily stuck here forever?

“We are now in amazing Asia!” shouted Vendor Fig, punching his hands in the air instead of screaming in excitement.

“What? How did we get here?” exclaimed Emily, but he didn’t answer.

” I shall be back soon but do not touch that book.” said Mr Fig, walking of briskly.

Emily suddenly turned to face the book, grabbed it and opened the delicate pages. Meanwhile, she hadn’t noticed that Vendor Fig was watching her. Emily saw a fountain pen on the table and then had an idea. She started to scribble something on the pages. On the pages were a lovely forest that had beautiful flowers in.

She stood up and found a door that looked new. But, stood by it, was Vendor Fig. “Wrote in it didn’t you” Whispered Mr Fig ” You shall now be going into it for punishment. Goodbye.” Shouted Fig, was it a nightmare?

Prologue: The Emporium of Mystery

Wonders can be magic. Wonders can be scary. Usually, people are intrigued in this Emporium. Sometimes they are not.

Who could be afraid of the big, black door, the scratches beside the light and the heart of the shop which was behind the door. When it’s midnight this secret shop, which nobody notices, opens up and people pour in with frowns and smiles.

Emily, who was going shopping, noticed it and stepped into the door. Emily’s new future holds.

Chapter 1: Wonders Beyond Wonders

Emily tiptoed towards the counter. Her eyes were drawn to something magical or mysterious. A gold statue stood tall and proud. On the top of it a book lay waiting to be read. Suddenly, another thing caught Emily’s eye. A little notebook tied up with a beautiful string. Carefully, she unwrapped the book. Shaking with excitement, gold words appeared on the first page she had opened.

“I see you have found my book of wonders. Also if you are to open it then ask the shopkeeper.” A low voice boomed out of the shadows.
” Who and where is the shopkeeper?” Asked Emily politely.
“You can look in it if you want. I am the shopkeeper.” whispered the man. Emily smiled. On the page it read “Treasure full with memory.”
She wondered what this place was. She risked a glance at the door. It said in capital letters
THE EMPORIUM OF MYSTERY

Emily shivered which made the man come closer a few steps. A deafening screech filled the air. An owl fluttered down onto the man’s shoulder and then smoke filled the air. They were moving!

I would take the sound of​ a guitar,
as I sing along to the tune,
listen to the morning birds
and the sizzle of a frying pan.

I would take the smell of wild garlic
and eat it for my tea,
a new car
and the unique chatter of my brother.

I would take the vision of bombs from graffiti,
on the walls of busy Bristol,
stars glinting against the black sky,
and huge, unicorn shaped clouds.

I would include the feeling of my legs,
burning like a bonfire after a bike ride,
freezing cold water sailing down my throat and heat melting the sun cream.

Through the mint door,​
a packet of forgotten polos
rolled around on the dusty shelf.

Stepping through the shamrock door,
I stood in a field of four leaf clover
and hopefully I will have good luck.

Through the lemon door,
my little eyes squinted at the sour flavour.

Through the fire door,
my snowman felt colder by the second.

In the room of laptops,
my eyes turned into a screen.

In the room of lightning,
I got taken to hospital​.

In the room of space,
I was floating around the moon.

In the room of trees,
I felt like I was going to fall.

In the room of colours,
My white top got rainbows on it.​

In the room of hair,
I got strong spray up my nose.

In the room of goodbye’s,
I left my poetry.

In the room of laptops,
my eyes turned into a screen.

In the room of lightning,
I got taken to hospital​.

In the room of space,
I was floating around the moon.

In the room of trees,
I felt like I was going to fall.

In the room of colours,
My white top got rainbows on it.​

In the room of hair,
I got strong spray up my nose.

In the room of goodbye’s,

The Rising Rose part 4

The Captain told them what the thing was, then, she fell. What was going on?

Part 4
The crew took her inside and got her an ice-pack. They called a ship doctor and, before he arrived the children said that the creature zapped her. The children suddenly felt tired and fell straight to sleep. But they defiantly locked the door so that the thing couldn’t get in.

Early in the morning, the ship was rocking and they all looked over. “Is that the dragonets mother?” Questioned Josh. They all thought the same thing. Fire hit the balloon and they were going down. Quietly, they stopped. Who was doing this horrific thing to the crew. ” DRAGON!” One of the crew shouted and screamed.
