The Prey in the Mist.

Minutes after the fact, they were all scrambling from out and behind of their concealing spots; Liam had sprung up out of the wrecked, dusty red blocky chimney, subsequent to falling through an enormous old box that resembled a treasure like box. They wandered aimlessly to perceive what had caused the clamour, at that point a huge blazing smoke wave descended on them, Lindy, who felt like she was on a mission had ran once more into the wrecked house, covering up in a cabinet where she could scan the entire island; though Liam had crushed himself back into the dusty and filthy fireplace rapidly, his face genuine and wanting to return home. He was pale and looked like he would have been sick, yet Grandpa Joe didn’t actually comprehend why they were so frightened, he merrily walked over to the seat in the boat gradually, giving him a decent perspective on what will land; however, he was very obvious contrasted with the others, making him a threat of what made this smoke. Before adequately long, the enormous, textured winged serpent that had been caught was mistreating the Island, stepping, and making the skimming island shake; Liam looked up, still pale, he scowled at the mythical beast, at that point shrank down into the tight square. The mythical beast looked as though it were looking for something, or somebody… that is the point at which a small troll had flown down on his orange pet, tapping its head as a deep thank you. The mythical beast howled, taking off quickly, turning around to check whether this little creature had followed, yet it just stayed there, glancing around befuddled at the scenes encompassing it; Grandpa Joe nearly got up to examine it, however, before long, let out an enormous yell that made him stop in his tracks. Lindy analysed it from far off through an opening in the cabinet, simply before a touch of the messed-up divider, astonished by all these clever animals that lived in the skies. It was all watching and glaring, until Lindy smiled. What might occur on the off chance that she attempted to talk with this animal? She escaped without the others knowing, certain, she strolled up, frowning at the green demon, his eyes enormous and searing, yet additionally delicate and sweet, until she was eyes to eyes, face to face.

Completed Story

As landing commenced, the members sat in shock, slowly drifting down to the bottom, swaying side to side in the cool breeze of Island Kazuko. Lindy rushed over, peering over the side of the boat, turning her gaze to the large scaly beast sat in a large, thick net hanging onto a rusty old hook, though it seemed to have stayed on well for a long time.

The crew scrambled out, their heads dizzying. Although Grandpa Joe was doing alright, as he joyfully laughed,

‘’ Well, wasn’t that a roller coaster! What fun! I have not had fun like that in YEARS! ‘’

The others didn’t think so, though they had seemed to recover quickly, because they were soon rushing over to the edge of the large, rocky island, glaring at the big fluffy clouds, the ocean blue sky and the buildings that looked as if they were ants, absolutely terrified. Liam was panting, even though he wasn’t out of breath and Lindy was trying to brainstorm an idea on how to get out of this mess. Although, it was a scorching day, (though the sun had an oddly large rim around it, full of moon patterns) they were wearing winter clothes from the weather back at their town, that also probably was not helping.

At that exact moment, they all went silent, it was almost noiseless, except from meows of rare Kitsunes that no one had seen before, then it stopped, and they heard a noise. No regular noise, a large rustling, but nothing was on the island except for rare animals. This noise had to come from a large animal…and it clearly knew they were there. The crew had to think fast, a large dirty box lay sat on the grass, Liam jumped in, falling through a large tunnel, that was no ordinary box, though no time to explain that. Lindy had run behind a random building, all broken and ruined, it had moss grown all over the half existent roof, mould all over the outside and Captain Joe had hidden in the sky ship, which was obviously just how it looked before, though the side of the ship was a little bit scratched…

Prelude.

You’ve probably been on an aeroplane, right? Well, this is similar, it’s just like a hot air balloon. The sun rays fall over you, the ground looks like a planet far away, the heat is exactly right in every spot, making it a perfect trip to anywhere you’d prefer to go. Remember how the sunrises and sunsets fall across the horizon, making the ship a perfect view for you to watch. Remember the gentle, cool air fall from above you as the quiet sails take you further away, every day. I bet you’ve enjoyed flying, moving to unknown places you’ve never seen, seeing peculiar things every direction. Maybe even flying to places you know, just to see it again, or to see loved ones. Relaxing on a boiling beach, on a sun bed, watching the ocean swish, or even a freezing cold cabin, a fire to keep you warm as you watch snow fall gently from the cold, grey sky.

But you should also try seeing the other side of it, a bumpy air ship, things not so nice trying to ATTACK in every direction, the sails are loud and unpleasant to hear as you sail through the sky uncomfortably. When the rain falls, heavying the boat, turning into hail, causing the sails to vibrate harshly, as though the hail is threatening to burst it. Thunder strike sounds feel dangerously close, almost warning it to leave, the holding mechanisms of the ropes are starting to shake furiously, though they’re about to come off, causing you to fall to the ground. That’s when the ship is not so stable, making it an unpleasant journey.

You probably won’t believe this bit, but some say that out in the dark corners of the sky, purple, small but powerful sky goblins slink about with their orange animals that the human has never heard or seen of, but almost double the size of them, waiting for visitors, eagerly they wait to attack with large boulder looking rocks, knowing it’ll tear them down. Some even say that they’ve seen wild sky beasts with a scaly tail, shaped like a crescent moon that moves like a whippet, sending your sky ship far into the distance, not to be seen again, as well as large triangular teeth to easily bite the ship, sending it tumbling faster than the boulders. Those are the beasts that lurk the fluffy, white clouds that look after the skies, luring people over, making them feel safer, even though it’s even more risky than the other ways, especially more dangerous.

Sky Ship Story

It was another day on the ship, Lindy glanced behind her, staring at the whiteness of the cloud pass through the boat. She was taking this very seriously, looking all over for any sites of mysterious shapes or things. Being a Forensic Detective in the past had given her a big advantage for clues. Meanwhile, at the end of the boat, Grandpa Joe, the Captain, was busy turning left and right, though he was still singing a song to himself quietly as he looked for clear spaces to sail through. Although he had never been sailing to find creatures like goblins or dragons, he was still prepared; sailing since he was young, was going to make this adventure easy…or most likely not. But down in the kitchen, Liam was busy having a dance session, with music on the radio, as he cooked some delicious steak for lunch. Even though they weren’t exactly on the right track, they were all busy trying to perfect it, making sure they had the best view for capturing the creatures who loomed the skies.

Suddenly, the ship lurched to one side, then the other, then it shunted forwards forcefully. Lindy held onto the binocular stand, holding on tightly, her hands went cold and white, she turned around, startled. There she watched, gripping onto the stand, staring at a large, rough looking dragon, the tail facing the boat, and the eyes glaring at her. Though as her heartbeat, Liam was down in the kitchen, he was soon enough throwing his spatula into the air and dashing into a small cupboard in the corner. He was trembling with fear as he waited for the boat to calm. At the front, Grandpa Joe was busy turning the Helm harshly to the write to get back in the right lane. Lindy was then rushing down, fumbling through the backpack for something, a net. She picked it up, frantically closing the bag, her hands shaky. Liam peeked out of the cupboard, rushing after her. With the duo throwing it over, Joe at the front helping to steer, they got him in.

Soon enough, they were then falling, faster than the dragon could move its tail. The dragon squirmed and wriggled to get out, whacking the net to free itself, causing the boat to shake more, making it tumble faster. Liam felt reluctant to help, only wanting to cook the food, he had not planned on capturing anything. As the dragon hit the island of Kazuko, the ship stopped, right above the island, the duo tightened the net and let go, about to fall into the grasp of a powerful dragon.

I would take…

I would take…

  1. An old, rustic brown leather journal to brainstorm inventions to tear the sky dragons down from their safe domain.
  2. A fuzzy, beautifully soft white velvet cloak to keep me warm when it’s chilly in the cold darkness of the night.
  3. A large jar of bright fireflies to see in the dark, just in case ‘they’ sneak up behind me.
  4. Two soft velvet black pouches with a blank spot for titles, one named, ‘Magical Weapons (small)’ and the other pouch ‘Coins for unlimited materials’ for making larger and stronger weapons.
  5. A dirty and crinkled aged map, revealing the whole skies but can shrink down to the size of a thumbnail for extra room in a single clap.
  6. A tub of iridescent small pills that contain the equivalent of a full meal, yet tastes like whatever food you think of.
  7. A large, mesh material black net invisible to all sky dragons and sky goblins, for catching in case of attack to the ship.
  8. A pair of hard, silver glasses that detect motion, in case of sky goblins entry, that the seeing eye wouldn’t yet notice.
  9. A small, hard mirror which like a compass, points me in the direction of danger, allowing me to avoid it with ease.

The Misunderstood Dragon.

   The misunderstood dragon

Its eyes so large,

Staring intently at me,

Making me shiver, or is it intrigued by me?

Its claws, sharp as knives,

Waiting to pounce, or waiting to be petted?

Its spines, jagged and pointy,

Glimmer in the shadows, making me nervous.

Its wings reach far and wide, as if stretching for miles,

Strong and powerful, yet magical and nurturing.

Its teeth, as sharp and pointy as needles,

So strong, so powerful, ready to fight, or is it just scared?

Its scales shine like glitter,

Looking like a beautiful reflection.

This dragon, appears so fierce,

This dragon so beautiful,

This dragon so elegant,

This dragon so mysterious,

This dragon, so Misunderstood!

”You are” Poem.

You are light as a feather, whistling through the trees.

You are as green as an apple and as crisp as the leaves.

You are the answer I hear, in the dead of night.

You are a blanket that feels like a cloud hugging me tight.

You are the light on the sea, that shines on the boats sails.

You are a candle that burns as bright as bonfire tails.

You are the cold of winter, among the smell of hot chocolate and cream.

You are a castle that feels like a wonderland dream.

You are a hairbrush that feels as though you are gliding on a river.

You are the horizon I see, so magical, I shiver.
