Letter to superhero

Dear Shape Shifter,

I am writing to persuade you to save the city as it is in danger and we really need your help to protect it from the threats.

My first point is reason the city is full of dangerous animals because one of the villains has pushed them in so he can rule the land where animals live.

I would also like to argue that the city will be destroyed your help and the city will be disappointed in you.

Furthermore, I am concerned that you are the only one who can save this mess and you are the only one who will not be badly injured from the dangerous animals/creatures. To build on this concern, why wouldn’t you help your own city? Or why wouldn’t you save the animals and put them back to where they belong?

I would like to point out that loads of people are concerned that you will not save it and we will be trapped for years. On the other hand many people argue that you shouldn’t save the city and that someone else that is older should do it because your stronger and more important and too young.

Some people claim that they can do it there selves and they don’t need any superheroes help. Although some people suggest, we believe that you are the only one strong enough and trained enough for this special mission.

However, I claim that you know you are tough enough and you know you don’t want your city in danger. Alternativity, 50% of people want you to relax and someone can do the work for you. This is not correct because no one else is as brave as you and you have the control over animals.

The main reason for this is the city is in complete danger and no one else has the heart to save it. We believe this because you are scary, you can shape shift and you have the powers for this.

Yours sincerely-   Agent Thomas

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Ruaridh woke with a start; the snow tiger sleeping on. From outside, he could hear loud voices speaking. Ruaridh turned and looked through a small gap in the wall, he could see a large group of guards surrounding the shed. The tiger woke up as she peeked through the hole. Ruaridh placed his fingers over his mouth. Then suddenly out of the blue the snow tiger let out a offlay loud purr; Ruaridh gasped.

Scurrying across the floor, the tiger ducked down as the guards got closer to breaking down the shed. They ducked under an old large long table as the layed down in fear.

At that instant, the door fell down. There was silence , a feeling of something listening in the shadows. Candles lit and the guards began to search hard. Risking a look, Ruaridh turned over to see the guards standing in iron armor. Shivering Ruaridh and the snow tiger curled up in a warm ball. As the waited until the guards moved on.

It felt like days, but had probably been an hour by the time the guards had gone. It was sunset now, in the silence the snow tiger suddenly spoke to Ruaridh without actually speaking to him. As if Ruaridh had the same mind as the tiger. She started to explain about a gateway the gateway to her own world were she would not be caught and killed.

Ruaridh had a spark of idea the gateway must be at Ballast Bank. The tiger looked weaker as its legs collapsed, the walk would be long and dangerous. Ruaridh wondered if they could make it.

Ruaridh knew his family would be worried about him but there was no thinking twice he had to save the tiger, no matter what was holding him back. As they made their way closer as if were stuck in a deadly game of hide and seek.

Chapter2

Outside, the rain powered down with a loud growl. Inside, Ruaridh searched  through the abandoned warehouse to find   somewhere to hide as he rushed around the building. Old rusty boxes were scattered around everywhere, as doors had been eaten by moss and mold, rats were squeaking loudly. To his belief, there was not a single way out except from the place he came in. He was stuck.

Behind him,  the creepy man in the shadows, the dagger shining in his tough hands. Ruaridh gasped…

… but at that instant, something purred, louder than cats. Out of the shadow, not one but two blue eyes appeared a flash of white and knife like teeth. Whatever it could be , it stood strong in the middle of the man and Ruaridh.

It was humungous. Black and white. Ruaridh realised he was standing beside a  fierce snow tiger  it opened its wide mouth and growled loudly as a thunder storm. In that second the man had disappeared. Ruaridh stood in shocked fear.

The snow tiger knelt Infront of him, she looked up at Ruaridh as she limped to the other corner of the room. As blood raced down her leg and back, Ruaridh’s heart sunk in sadness as he felt so bad. As the scent of the tiger fluttered into his nose as it smelled like blossom trees.

They looked back at each other and Ruaridh felt like she was making him feel better about stuff he wouldn’t want to think back too. Ruaridh held out his hand as the tiger licked it slowly. He could see the power of kindness in her eyes as Ruaridh got a flash of her disappointment in herself.

At that moment she spoke loud and clear saying “I now need your help,” as she turned around to show a long pointy arrow that had cut through her body as it was pocking out off the other side. Ruaridh gasped in shock. As he pulled it out the snow tigers eyes leaked.as she opened her mouth to whisper “we must now find the gateway fast,”

Ruaridh looked back as if he understood what the gateway was. He realised in that moment he had to protect this creature away from danger. “I must hide,” exclaimed the tiger walking around the warehouse to find a safe place.

Ruaridh followed after him as they kept walking and found an old large shed standing in the distance. As they walked closer he remembered about the rumours of the old family who had turned into ghosts, but as soon as the snow tiger noticed his fear Ruaridh couldn’t feel it anymore it had disappeared. As the snow tiger curled up in a corner Ruaridh kept watch.

Chapter 1

It was a warm afternoon in May. The sun shined down and filled the town in happiness. Lots of people had been scattered around the beach as shadows were very easy to spot. Where streets were not easy to find people sneaking around.

Ruaridh Hogg ignored the beautiful sunny day. As he was gazing at the checkpoint ahead. Ruaridh slid off his warm jumper, as every step he took he got closer and closer to reach the gate of Troon. The hot sun reflecting onto his back, other tall and small buildings were boiling with heat. The bakery started to sell quickly and the delicious fresh smell glided into his nose.

He could see the guard checking peoples passes, Ruaridh gulped hard in fear of looking at him as a gun stood strong and tight in his arms. ” where is your pass young boy?” Demanded the guard, pointing at the boy with his firm pointy finger.

“e e e ehh its right here,” said Ruaridh in fear, handing the pass over to the tall guard.

“where are you heading?” Asked the guard, scratching his head. Ruaridh struggled to speak “Just some deliveries,” as he started to walk off, the guards eyes fixed on him. Ruaridh then bumped into man having behind him to show a sign he was sorry. ” watch it!” Said the man harshly Ruaridh turned into a dark alleyway as the man followed behind him shouting “give me everything you have or else!” He took out a sharp knife as they both hurried down the alley. Every foot step Ruaridh took was every second the murderer would walk faster and faster. He looked up to see an old abandoned house as he walked in hearing he creeks of the floor.

Moon-Howler

Wolf, wolf

How are you so fast at running and keeping

your pace?

Like winning a race to a Peregrine Falcon

Wolf, wolf

Why are you so obsessed with eating raw meat?

And how do you enjoy it so much?

Wolf, wolf

Why are your eyes so scary and death like

and freaky?

as if you’re giving us a deadly stare

Wolf, wolf

Why do you howl at the moon so loudly?

Wolf, wolf

Why do you have such fluffy fur?

Never getting it to dirty?

Wolf, wolf

How are you so brave and fierce?

Wolf, wolf

Why do you normally live in dark dark caves?

Slowly stepping forward out of the dark cave.

Wolf, wolf

What time do you come out to howl?

Do you  just go back to sleep after you howl?

Wolf, wolf

How are your teeth so clean but you never

brush them with a toothbrush?

The Scottish wild cat

Scottish Wild Cat

The sun shone, as the wild cat stood in

Brave fur armour.

Its dark soul eyes like a deadly stare,

pouncing for it running pray.

Sharp teeth as if it could slice

 through stainless steel,

as it opened it wide mouth.

The wire whiskers as

rough as a sandpaper.

Its rumbling stomach like the

 sound of a volcano erupting.

As it catches the rabbit

with pure happiness

What are…

What is noisy?

The shout of a fire alarm, a blow of a

whistle and the scream of a scared child.

What is quiet?

The flutter of a butterflies wing, a ghosts haunt

and the thought of a mortifying memory.

What is cold?

The freezing frostbite nibbling on your toes,

the touch of a snowball fight and the nip of ice.

What is hot?

The flame of a fire breathing dragon, a Christmas morning

hot chocolate and a fluffy bold blanket.

What is heavy?

The feeling of sadness, a weight of a China plate

And the disappointment.

What is light?

The feather of a rare dove, a catch of a leave

and the weight of a bean bag.

I have..

I have never walked into the one and only massive luxury white house

but I have walked into the  small stuffy old green house.

I have never seen the Northern Lights right out my small window ledge

but I have seen the stars in the sky twinkling and twitching.

I have never seen the flaming fire canon at Culzean Castle

but I have seen the canon popping with confetti at my birthday.

I have never been to Mexico and lived in happiness

but I have been to animal kingdom with perfect parrot paradise.

I have never been to the moon and back while in a loud  rocket ship

but I have been on a rollercoaster in fear.

Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Patrick dreamed. A memorable voice was appearing in his thoughts. He was running down a long dark and dull hallway. Something was haunting him it was soft and fearless. As he blasted of at a speed the voice was shifting further away as he took a step at each time. It sounded like his mother’s voice telling him to carry on in his journey. Patrick felt warmth of his mother’s hugs. He was drifting off to a deeper sleep whenever he thought of his mum. In his dream he wanted to find her and take her home. For a nice cosy Christmas.

He walk up with a start as his body tingled, as he realised it was a dream. Morning sunlight fired through the old cracked wall in the stable. Jamie slept long.  ****** tickled Jamies ear as he whispered

“Wake up you sleepy head” as he came over to Patrick to say good morning. ****** stretched “by all that tick tocks you’ve finally woken up” he hissed as flittered his wings. It’s time to get back what’s truly yours. I saw Mr .Scaly Dog only 5 minutes ago and the rat his preparing his silver he airship! . Get up you lazy bonds.

“oi” came a cold voice next to Patrick, it was Jamie not by surprise that he was annoyed because he just got woken up by ******. Jamie had woken up he stretched and rubbed his weary eyes into action. A moment later, the team of three packed their bags and hopped over the stable door towards the shiny airship. The heating of the cannons was terrifyingly hot, the balloon was rapidly filling up air. They watched Mr. Scaly Dog carry an old looking wooden box that seemed to where he kept the McGuffin. He slowly sat the box on the deck. ****** growled, hold onto your hollyhocks, here we go.

Firing off onto the field. ****** hopped into the sky and flew closer leading the way to the enormous airship. The children were behind ****** and ran like sharks chasing fish. To their relief the McGuffin was there safe and sound. Thieves, pocket pickers and airship-looters spoke Mr. Scaly Dog with a click. Rushing towards the airship with a speed that thought no man could at his age. Patrick bounded to the tight ropes attached to the airship and flung it one side to the next.

Quickly the airship rose higher and higher. As the two kids and the mechanical animal looking to see the Professor folding his arms. He stamped his fight like playing percussion. Patrick giggled as the Professor spat on the field with disappointment. Jamie snatched the wooden box and took the key sitting on top of the box. He slipped the old key in and turned it as fast as he could to not let anyone take the  wooden object away from him. As he peered his hand in the he took the precious rock and hid it into his backpack. A creek came a noise from the deck, and out peered a shadow of someone Patrick had lost a long time ago, it was David Hogg Parick caught tears from his eyes with happiness.

David hugged him so close to squeeze his love into him. A few seconds later they realised the ship was frightfully dangerously high.

“Come on” David scuttered clambering of the deck into the tiny size airship for emergencies everyone followed along as they hopped into the vehicle and zoomed of to the shed at Patricks house they took out there backpacks. And wiped the tiny airship because it was dirty.

Patrick and Jamie opened the door and ran into the house. They opened Patricks door and sat on his bed to think what an exciting adventure they had just been through. David and ****** came into the room. And David told them what his adventure was like and then Patrick  and Jamie, David and ****** snuggled up in the bed and Patrick was proud of what he had done to bring his dad back for Christmas.
