This extraordinary creature is one of the rarest insect to have ever been found in continental Europe, recently discovered by the British insect concentration team. This beetle is extremely rare in Europe in fact only 20 members of this species are found in other parts of Europe. However these creatures are rare because breeding has become harder and more dangerous than previously recognised.

It’s main weakness is hiding from it’s predator which is a spider because it’s sixth sense just isn’t enough to put off spiders from attacking even camouflage won’t help from attacking spiders. That is the reason behind their breeding becoming harder moreover they will attack violently when feeling threatened but unlike bees they wont die when attacking something. But the reason behind their decline in population is that countless amounts of this beetle have reportedly gone missing or have died because of starvation.

On other information its upper thorax is long and its colour can change when hiding from a predator, it’s antennae is long and can detect danger coming from far away. Its wings are almost translucent camouflage because of the sun reflecting its ultra violent rays in the wings of the beetle. Its speed can reach up to fifteen miles an hour which is nearly the speed of a person riding a mountain bike downhill at top speed.

The electrical beetle is one of the most interesting beetles in the UK. It was discovered in an electric box near a school. It was found chewing on wires, cutting the electric out.

Head:

The electrical beetle has a round oval shape head with red, demon eyes attached to it. Its eyes are thermal vision that means it can see heat inside an animal or a human.  Below its eyes, it has a mouth that is shaped like a semi circle. Inside its mouth, it has razor-sharp teeth that are made from steel and are shaped like pyramids. In total, it has 76 teeth.

Thorax:

The thorax of the electrical beetle is the shape of a rocket ship and has tints of silver and grey. On the thorax, it has wings that are thin and silky. The wings of  the beetle are really strong as they can carry the weight of 25kg. The wings can also regen. Connected to the thorax, it has furry little legs. Its legs can go smaller, so it can fit into smaller places like cracks in walls.

Stinger:

The electrical beetle has a stinger about 6 centre meters long. In the stinger it has about 3 litres of venom. It can kill one human with only one drop of venom, so if he used 100 drops of venom that would mean he would’ve at least killed 100 humans.

Chapter 2

In the corner of the room, laid a bright glow. Scott was curious to what it was, but the lock looked like a hidden camera, so he didn’t want to get caught. Without thinking, he grabbed another book and put it onto the lock.

Looking back, Scott ran towards the light and grabbed it. It was a key. The key looked like it would fit into the lock to open the book, so he slowly walked up to the lock and took the other book of it. Suddenly he put the key in the lock and turned it clockwise. Before he knew it, the lock had disappeared. Scott couldn’t believe that he actually got the chance to see what’s inside the book of truths. So he took the chance and opened it.

Inside the book, there were pictures of gold and food. All of a sudden, a pen appeared into his hands. He had the power over the book, but he doesn’t realise that. So he started to draw. He drew until his fingers were aching and his hand started to sweat.

“Over here!” A voice echoed. Scott started to chase the voice and he tripped on what looked like a branch. He looked to his left and saw a brown door that looked freshly built into the wall. He opened the door, took a deep breath and entered.

He walked, not into a room, but in a spruce forest. Darkness filled the sky. It was quiet, except for the owls hooting above the tree tops. A path filled with smoke flew by coming from a campsite. A campsite that looked like the one Scott drew in the book. Without hesitating, he ran straight into the smoke leading towards the campsite.
