Chapter 2

Zain stared at Bobby. His  Sharp canines could easily tore his body in half.Saliva was coming out of his mouth,Zains blue eyes shined like a new car being unwrapped and his pointy round ears looked like they were doomed. His fur was as bright as a cloud being made. Quietly  the lion came up to Bobby and liked his fingers.Bobby was fixed.

The bright yellow lion vanished into the skinny trees. As they slowly jogged back home, the moon followed them like a stalker.

“I found him about a year ago just outside the garage howling for food.He was probably going to starve to death.” explained Miss Booth “We have to keep him safe otherwise he will get taken away to animal safety.”

In the middle of the night, Bobby thought about Zain’s shiny eyes piercing through the dark misty forest. Something about the lion seemed to burn Bobby’s heart.

At dinner, while Miss Booth was not looking, Bobby would take meat from the tabe and take it to Zain. The lion would hunt as well he would hunt hare, foxes and a nice delicious bird.Bobby was a bit scared but soon he  started to get more comfortable and would stroke and massage his body caringly.

One day, Zain let Bobby rub his back gently. Within a few days, he would fight with  Bobby full on but in a humorous way.Searching for random things in his pocket. Bobby changed. He no longer walked  but he ran happily.

Over the next summer days and beautiful nights, Miss Booth saw how the lonely lion attracted  the boy and their small little secret bound them together.

Chapter 1

His first day of school was a sad memory but happily he found an older teacher called Miss Booth. She quickly realised that Bobby was a bit odd. He was a nervous and jumpy child. So Miss Booth decided to put Bobby on the first row right in front of her. Bobby frowned and copied the alphabet several times. The moment the bell rang , he jumped out of his seat and did not tuck it in; he ran away like a cheetah trying to hunt a baby tiger!

The  morning turned into night and Bobby started to feel more comfortable, he started making new friends. Most of the days he would focus on his work more, cook food for Miss Booth and clean the chickens house. The inside of the house was not bad it was made out of old wood and dusty brick. He could tell that Miss Booth like the colour grey because that was her house theme. Outside was amazing. She had chickens and a beautiful garden with a huge clean pond. Also  a few multi coloured fish. Bobby was kind of an outside child not an inside half of the day he would stay inside and half of the day he would be outside.

Every night,Bobby wakes up to the sound of the garage gate rattling. Bobby looks out of the broken blinds as Miss  Booth is heading into the Qadri forest. Each night,he tries to see what she is upto… and he doesn’t wait long to find out.One morning, Bobby could not stand  it  he got on his gown, grabbed a torch and walked quietly like a mouse .When he reached the Qadri forest, he heard a raw, not a

small raw but a loud and deeper raw, he crept a little further… he couldn’t believe his eyes. A lion! Miss Booth was feeding a lion.

The Terrific Simile Poem

The sea is as smooth as a fluffy cat, like a freshly made hot chocolate.

The tree is as clean as  a broccoli, like a persons face after a wash.

The moon is as gold as a sunset, like a yellow ice cream about to get melted.

Stop and Have a Look

Stop and Have a Look

It doesn’t have to be the

Brown tree twig of the Cellar spider

Or the Yellow Banana wings of the

Clouded yellow butterfly

Or the Dark purple  spikes from a

Melancholy thistle in Moseban park.

It could be a lonely crow sitting

At the top of a tree whilst the

School children laugh and play

Or a wiggly worm finally escaping

A rock that’s been lifted up from a child

Or even an empty crisp packet lying

On the long grass with dried up leaves.

Be as happy as a sunflower

Meeting light after 1 year.

Notice how the beautiful flowers

Glow up when the bright yellow

Sun comes up,

Even a dead flower growing back

Every year.

Hidden Nightmares whiles sleeping…

I met a doctor of pain.

His pocket was filled with bleeding and dripping needles.

His hands were shaking as if a venom cobra had bit him.

He couldent walk so he slid along with  old day water.

His heart was empty as an abandoned hospital room.

I met a boy of Wonder.

He was imaginative and shocked.

His heart was as joy full as the happiest man in the world.

His hands were was soft as a pillow.

If he looked at something he pause and question for a day.

I met a man called Tarantula.

He would walk on eight hairy legs.

He wold grab a beetle and munch on it like he had never ate.

I met a woman called Ostrich.

Her beak wouldent stop hitting people.

She was as brown as a grizzly bear.

She would fly into abandoned school and just sleep.

I met a boy called king cobra.

His teeth were like a sharp ship.

His skin was slimy  and he was as fat as a shark.

He was a mental man.

In Hidden Nightmares.

I met myself dancing in a tree.

I spoke to a small little insect.

I looked like a yellow shirt.
