“Lock ’em up boys​, in the barrels of woe!”
“Aye aye Captain!”
The cruel old scallywaggers locked them in a small tight barrel with steel bars surounding it.
The scallywaggers rolled them in the dusty old brig with decaying skeletons piling on top of each other.
“Don’t touch Sam the skeleton, he gets MAD!” shouted an old crazy crew member.
“None stop to the Elemental Kingdom!” commanded the Captain.
“We’ve got to find somewhere safe in the Elemental Kingdom” wispered Jack.
They could hear an echo of despair throughout the brig.
The stench of rotten fish made it hard to breath.
Minutes felt like hours and hours felt like days.
As the bells ring 3 times the sigh of relief could be heard.
The captain shouts “Land ahoy!”
Jack and Nate noticed that the steel bars had rusted, so they broke free and snuck out of the ship.
They saw a massive marbel palace with four different lands. The land of fire, water, earth and air.
They all had weird and wonderful creatures roming free.
“Maybe we can ask the King for help” Nate exclaimed
” what ya doin, seize them!” shouted the Captain.

The haggered boatcrew or “Scallywaggers” locked them in vast rum vats each with a small window of steel bars. The Scallywaggers rolled the barrels into the dusty old brig with a pile of decaying skeletons omnimously rotting in the corner. Jack reached out his hand through the bars trying to grab a small bone to pick the lock.
“Don’t ye touch Pete the Pretty!, he gets MAD!” came a dry crackling voice from the shadows. Jack, slowly, pulled his handback into the saftey of the oak, rum sodden barrel and stared blankly to where the warning came from. The brig fell silent except an echo of despair to keep them company.

A booming cry filled the lower decks “Full speed to the Elemental Kingdom!” commanded the Captain.

“Nate, we’ve got to find somewhere safe in the Elemental Kingdom” whispered Jack. It fell dark and the two just closed their eyes for a moment, exhausted.

Minutes felt like hours and hours felt like .

A bell resounded 3 times and a sigh of relief could be heard though the land thirsty crew of the Black Scally.
The crows nest burst into life and bellowed “Land ahoy!”

The Black Scally dropped below the clouds and started to descend to finally reach land.

Jack and Nate could just see though the steel bars lush green fields and a mountain range in the distance. As the ship neared the dock mooring the Scallywag crew released Nate and Jack from their boozy barrels onto the forecastle of the airship’s main deck.

Jack and Nate could now see the full extent of their destination. As their eyes cleared they could see workers bustling up and down the pier. To the east were airships docking and refueling for their journeys ahead. Puffs of steam coming from mechanical machines, with ear piercing shushing whistles and whirring wonders, like vapour clouds across the still waters of the bay.
There were rows of houses awash with a tangerine and raspberry glow from the approaching sunset.
The duo were ushered down the gang-plank and finally set foot on firm ground, there was an overwhelming aroma of industrial cinder ash and cherry blossom from the trees standing on ceremony along the bank of the pier.
They had reached the Kingdom of Four Realms.

“I can’t believe we did it!”​ Nate yelled to Jack, as the skyship sliced through the storm clouds with lightning flashing. Jack and Nate were best friends since they met at an all boys’ orphanage, where they had lived all of their lives. “We’re finally freeeee!” exclaimed Jack. The people who owned the orphanage had fed them on morsals of food everyday. The prospering proprietors were only looking after the boys for the money, filthy, filthy money. The absconded duo were sick and tired of being exploitated, so they decided to escape. The ship rocked port to starboard and starboad to port as the storm grew and grew and GREW!
” Oi!, who’s shaking my ship!”shouted a gravelly voice.
“Oh no, it’s the Captain…!”

The majestic beast

swirled in the black velvet sky

Villagers have nicknamed it The Draconian Demon

It sprays sparks over villages burning them to the ground

Incandescent droplets drip frrom his vile jaw as hot as lava

burning holes in the ground

As it swoops down, its wings beat deafingly loud as sharp spickes shread trees to a stump

As it flies back to its lair it scorches a tree or two along the way sending birds and creatures scurring

around helplessly

He is diablo fuego.

Boom Boom Boom
screeching roar of thunder

Violent vortices rising, towering taller, looming closer.
Seismic silhouette turning hearts to stone.
Majestic ​beast swirls in the midday sunset.

Sparks spewing, villages a glow.
Incandescent droplets dripping
hot as lava, burning to ash.

Swooping down, its wings beat like drums with diamond edged
daggers shredding trees to stumps.

Disturbing silence, smoky eclipse.

The living call him Diablo Fuego….
