Chapter three

Marvin raced through the streets and Sam followed close behind with a puzzled face. Marvin had to act quickly or else Kit would be known throughout the town. They arrived at the black van or at least where it was. 

Luckily, the town was small and he couldn’t have gotten far. Marvin told Sam the situation and now Sam was even more puzzled. But Sam trusted Marvin so they split up. Fortunately,in no time Kit was found. Unfortunately, he had crashed into the local hospital and was now surrounded by police.

All of the animals were took to the zoo until further notice and the chance of getting Kit back was lower than it was before.The next day, the two best friends headed to the zoo and snuck through the back entrance suddenly the owner of the zoo stood in front of them

Chapter 2

In the morning, Marvin went up to his treehouse to find the koala happily drawing a picture. Kit showed it to him. The picture was of 4 koalas but one of them was in a truck being taken away from the other three. This reminded Marvin of a van just like the one in the picture that had been driven into the woods. Inside the van was a bunch of different cages each with a different animal, one was empty though. Could it be or is it just a coincidence? Then Kit put Dad, Mum and Sister under the three koalas and put me under the koala in the van.

He woke up on his chair. He had fallen unconscious. But Kit had put him in his chair and was now watching him intently. What would he do with the koala? He had to keep him a secret. He brought Kit some crayons and a pile of paper and went to meet his friend that could help. 

Marvin’s friend ( Sam ) was waiting at the park playing with a ball. After a couple penalty shoot outs Marvin had to tell him the truth. They got on their skateboards and headed to Marvin’s house. They went into the treehouse to find it exactly how Marvin had left it and no koala to be seen. “Where is he?”,

questioned Marvin, puzzled.

“Where is who?” said an even more confused Sam.

Then Marvin knew exactly where he went.

Chapter one

The moonlight shone down onto Marvin’s skateboard as he rolled through the street. This was one of his many talents. He had snuck out again through his window whilst his mum was asleep.He started to head back home because it was getting late, but to his surprise his window was closed. Did mum find out? Marvin opened the front door and crept into his room. There sleeping in his bed was a koala!

Marvin was shell shocked, he didn’t know what to do. He quickly got a cardboard box and put the koala inside. After that, he took the box into his treehouse and hid it in the toy box.”I’m going to call you Kit. Kit the Koala.”. With that he went to bed. What…an…evening.

Dear mum, 

As soon as we left the station the train was filled with tears. I held most of it in , I guess. The journey took about 3-4 hours to get to the countryside. When we arrived I was the first one picked! A man called Mr Aeter chose me and straight away I was happy.

Mr Aeter said that the village was called Ucandus and that it was a seaside village. I have never seen the sea before except in pictures. But now that I see it in person it is absolutely beautiful. You should visit some time.

On my first morning at Ucandus I found out that Mr Aeter was called Marvin and is dating someone from the other side of the street in secret. Also, Marvin introduced the daily chores I have to do but I wont bore you with that.

When I was about to go to school for the first time since I saw you,Mr Aeter gave me a sandwich with rye bread as well as some cheese. At the school we learnt about the war and what was happening right now. 

The next morning, I woke up and had what Mr Aeter said was a full English breakfast. It was delicious and I ate it in under 10 minutes! After that, I went outside to walk along the shore. The sea sprayed in my face as the sea gulls ( Mr Aeter calls them pests ) glided through the air. Eventually, I went back ‘home’ to do my chores for the day.

My curiosity is made from –
