Instructions for wonders

Take the moment Bruno Fernandez looks into Husky’s eyes and the Husky looks into Bruno Fernandez eyes. This is a magical moment.

Listen to the seagull telling him to “Stay back!” And the stranger who calls to Marcus Rashford “come on get a goal , come on on beat them 4 nil.”

Watch as the farmer boards the cargo ship to go on holiday to a place he has never been before.

Catch the roar of the Mercedes racing car revving to begin a race and watch the competent horse rider race to see if the car can beat it.

Should dragons be able to live in the local area?

Arguments have been raging about whether or not dragons should be able to live in the local area. This is a flaming topic right now as a Snow Dragon has inhabited the local area and citizens are petrified.

Many of people believe that dragons should not be allowed to live locally because the town is flooded with the special spicy cream that they eat. Additionally, residents have been known to return home with heaves of snow layering their houses. Furthermore, others say that dragons are cold-hearted and do not deserve a house near them.

On the other hand, some people believe that the Snow Dragon is friendly to young children. They suggest that the dragon should be presented with a chance to prove that it means no harm. They claim the spicy dragon cream is a fair alternative to mushy baby food and the newborns especially love it. As well as this, many people who were dying were saved by the dragon by it breathing special unharmful liquid into the persons mouth, causing them to breath and live again.

To conclude this, I think some dragons can be dangerous and should be captured and put away from people whereas other dragons like the Snow Dragon should have some time near people in emergencies but should stay in a private residence at some times.

Skeleton Dragon

Dragons are one of the many special creatures that have different breeds. One of the most interesting is the Skeleton Dragon.

Is a Skeleton Dragon recognisable? Contrary to popular belief, they still have the figure of an ordinary dragon. The majority of Skeleton Dragons are built up with no skin, only bones. However, some of this breed have masses of hair on their head. Every sort of Skeleton Dragon has a thin layer of leather-like skin that clings onto the oily bones that are used as it’s wings. White is the most common colour for this but sometimes it can be a deep shade of red. The main feature of the Skeleton Dragon is its whipping tail. It consists of pearly white scales that can turn transparent if the animal is in danger or feels anxious about something.

The hand

Stealthily, Mia crept through the front door and into the bustling town. Shops were layered onto the walls and rather joyous shopkeepers were waving and trying to get her to buy their new products. Suddenly, clouds crashed together and water poured out of them. She tiptoed curiously around the cobblestoned street desiring and escape from the rain. The air had swallowed silence as she wandered. Seeking, scratching, hunting, howling, wailing around – the droplets wanted her; only her. She slipped round dark corners until a new winding alley found her. Lamp posts lighting her way, she snuck along it as she heard the unmistakable sound of scratching. Then a long, cold hand clawed at her shoulder. She tried to push it off but it was too late…

The face that owned the footsteps

Minerva stared at the old abandoned supermarket. It was big and empty and perfect for hiding. The shadows shielded her until she was inside. Now walls blocked her from the police. On the ceiling, dragon blood was dripping onto the cold tiled floor. Near the far wall, was a single trolly moulding through the floor. Many tipping shelves sat on the aisle walls. Feeling hungry, she reached for something – something moving, something scratching, something alive. Footsteps  sounded like a microphone; was it the police? Had they found her? She ducked behind a large crate waiting for the face that owned the footsteps…

Susan – a murderer

Olivia sprung through the door proudly and sat down in a back seat. “Hey!! Sorry I’m late, I had to buy my packed lunch at the baker,” she exclaimed, sliding her coat off and getting her things out of her bag. Whispering to her friends, she flicked on her iPad and got on with the set work. A grin spread across her face as she started to type.

Just a moment later, Susan sauntered menacingly into the room, making all eyes darted back to their work. Her blood shot eyes seeked out anyone who was looking’s soul. “Hello everyone! I’m the new transfer student, my name is Susan. Susan Ro”. Suddenly, Olivia and her friends burst out laughing. Susan was really confused and her murderous smile faded. Her desk was right next to Olivia’s and soon enough Susan was following her everywhere.

In a few months, Susan knew everything about everyone in the class. One day, Olivia went missing. The next week, her corpse was found in Susan’s basement along with 20 others that she had hung. Many of Olivia’s friends corpses were also in there and before any more harm could be done the leader of the navy had hung Susan herself. Her last words were ‘I’ll be back! Don’t you worry about me!’

Hooded figure

Inside the train, Hermione Grey was crouched on one of the worn-down blue seats. Outside the steamy window, the hills rolled and snow swirled, skidding on anything in its path. Cars shivered in the tight grasp of the winter weather. Hermione tugged yet another thick blanket over her legs. Her hands collided roughly, begging for warmth. Bitter wind punched the window – fighting the slight warmth of the heater. The lights had frozen over and voices echoed in her head. Ice had slugged lazily over the thick glass window. To her surprise, the train carriage door slid open and a hooded figure emerged, creeping towards her. Hermione had never seen a dementor before, until now…

Christmas Evening

Hot drinks fill my throat
Snowmen stand still and steady
Log fires crisping

Candles burn away
Carols drift through out the street
Pies in the oven

Robins are tweeting
Marshmallows in your hot chocolate
Rising up and down

Pine cones rustling
Snow lays on velvety grass
Bare trees are roaming

Tree branches afloat
Ornaments are sparkling
Lights are glistening

Scarves and hats give warmth
Chestnuts roasting on fires
Yummy winter treats
