The Centerpeed

The Centerpeed Alien, discovered on the field at Belmont 4 years ago, is a strange insect.  Its body can defend itself so its protected them from the attacker and keeps it safe. When they defend themselves they think they look cool and they try to show off. Would you ever recognise them?

It is like most insects in as far as it has legs, stinger and is very similar to a grasshopper. The classic one is a species that has never been seen before. The majority of the Centerpeed Alien possess 12 legs. These enable them to walk incredibly fast so they are not seen. However, a majority have been seen with many as 18 legs and this variety is especially nimble.

The Centerpeed Alien’s body is fire, lime and berry coloured and is covered in tiny scales that shimmer like sea lions in the surf. Weirdly, they can shrink into into the size of an ant and this means that they have access to all sorts of places. They can shrink down under fridges and even into toys! This is concerning because when cornered or frightened, they will attack anyone using an extremely painful sting and venom that is stored in its legs and will paralyse your body forever,  Alarmingly, their venom is so powerful it can burn through glass, so-beware.

Rooms of Mystery

In the room of skill, people playing football in the pitch blackness bedroom; they jump over houses, and doing gymnastics, before catching a ball.

In the basement of success, children sit on chairs doing there work ; everyone is quite, people race to be a success.

In the room of Shar-pai cross  Bulldogs, a wardrobe stands still like a vicious warrior and a tail flicks like a snakes tongue.

In the room of surprises, a goal shot is prepared by Harry Maguire; girls play football in the clouds and strangers burst from behind the door.

In the room of skill, people playing football in the pitch blackness ; they jump over houses, and doing gymnastics, before catching a ball.

In the room of silence, cymbals clash, witches shriek and a lion roars.

It Happened on Wednesday Afternoon by Roxy

Mrs O’Neill’s old white hair drifted in the windy cold air in the fading light of the morning. Her eyes glowed as tears ran down her face while she watched her grandson play at the park opposite the house, she remembered when she played outside with, her sister Hunny. That was a long time ago now.

Tom’s orange, curly hair drifted into space, his green eyes shone in the late afternoon. Biting his lips,  he wondered if he could go and fight the bully- teach him a lesson. Tom’s hands were red raw- he clutched them together, he couldn’t control his anger. Then, without realizing what he was doing, he threw a pebble at the window at the house. Immediately, it shattered and his Grandma, Mrs O’Neill saw everything.

The Andersen Secret

Tom found an abandoned house on Andersen beach. The windows were made of wood, the glass was broken and the door frame was cracked. A cobwebbed sign on the door said ” ‘Danger’, not to enter.”  He stood on the first step then slowly peered through the doorway.  Tom glanced around the house of darkness, he heard a noise. Tom nervously said , “Who is there?”. He went further through the door and up the old staircase. As his left foot touched the last step another door at the end of the landing, creaked open all by itself.

You are…by Roxy

You are a football waiting to be kicked in the galaxy net.

You are a shining star brightening up the misty sky.

You are the memory of a giant stepping into a dark, gloomy room.

You are the missing number on a bingo card waiting to be called.

You are a pea buried under blankets waiting to be found by a prince.

You are perfectly prepared paint pad ready to dab your masterpiece.

You are an agile, anxious alligator, ready to explore the swamp of hell.

You are radiant fish swimming slowly into the deep, dank gloomy water where the posh fish stay and the sharks stay.
