Ignoring the unusual voice, Edie stood where the door was meant to be.There stood no door, but a strange looking gymnastics obstacle. Well that’s what it looked like. On the other side of the challenge lay the same wooden door.
Taking a breath she leapt across the balance beam, her feet aching, swang side to side, up and across the bars. Vault was next, running as fast as her legs could take her, Edie bounced onto the springboard, forced her arms out onto the vault and landed with a clean finish. For the final apparatus was the one she was nervous of the most, the floor! For the challenge Edie had to land a roundoff, two back handsprings and a backflip all in one! Edie went for it tired, she leapt into her roundoff, pushed into her two back handsprings and jumped into her back tuck and landed it ! She couldn’t believe it! Forecelly she pulled the door open and lay on the floor aching, all because she forgot to stretch.
Stiffly, Edie troged towards the front of the shop, where she spotted Mr luncen Bronze standing at her, “ Ah, I see you have come back to us. Did you find what you were looking for?” Edie felt guilty. “The problem is, you can visit the miracles but you never know what could happen.” Putting down the beetle, that was bronze.
Edie was led out by Mr luncen bronze. “ Come again another day,” he said, holding the door open. Edie stepped out the door with guilt, but suddenly as soon as she turned around Mr luncen Bronze was gone. So was the emporium, Edie felt confused, how did it disappear she wondered?
What Edie didn’t notice was that she was being followed by a Bronze owl slowly gliding in the breeze. It perched on a tree by her house, Edie let herself into her house. The owl had all the time in the world.
