chapter 3 The secret was out

Adelin really enjoyed the countryside.

Every day in the summer, he runs through the fields. The fields were full of shine, the flowers were beautiful, the colors were  yellow, red, and purple. The wind made the corn sway away like leather fur. It was very quiet and beautiful, not like the noisy and busy city.

At night, Adelin went into the forest to see Aphrodite. They sat together, looking at the beautiful shiny moon and at the tiny stars, listening to the calming music of the night. Sometimes, she ran off just to catch some food from the woods.

Adelin was worrying that somebody might find out about Aphrodite. In the day, she hides in the darkest part of the woods. At night, she walks through the woods where it is dark and scary like the scary space it was a bit hard to see her.

One night, Adelin heard a familiar voice screaming and yelling. He sprinted into the woods and saw Aphrodite. She was showing her sharp pointy blade teeth, ready to jump. A boy named Billy the postman stood iced for a minute. “Stay still,” Adelin  said calmly. He held out a deer to calm Aphrodite.Billy saw the chance to sprint out of there.

Adelin’ heart striked hard and fast. Now somebody knows the secret. That night, he and Mrs. Lenuta talked about it. Maybe they could hide Aphrodite in a safer place somewhere deep in the woods where no one can find her.

chapter 3

Logan’s summer felt longer than ever extended out on the couch like a lazy slug, he went on a stroll, around the streets of houses going to shops he’d never been to,meeting  people he’d never seen before.

He found flowers like marigold, violets and lavender. Unlike the busy city, the countryside was beautiful and quiet and Logan liked it.

At midnight, he went to the woods to meet Ayla. Sometimes she would disappear into the darkness and come back with worms and grubs.Sometimes he would lay on the floor and let Ayla climb on him while listening to the robins sing beautifully she left very quietly and slyly.

Logan was worried that someone might find out about Ayla,During the day,she hid deep in the oakwood forest, where the grass would hide her, her scales would make her disappear.

One night in October,Logan heard a hiss and a scream. He recognised that it was Ayla and immediately shot  up his chair.

There she lies as Aisha stood there so terrified facing Ayla. “L…L…Logan.” muttered Aisha.

“Don’t move” said logan. He gave Ayla some worms and she slithered away.Aisha saw the opportunity to run, screaming like he saw a ghost.

Logan was nervous. What will he say?The secret was no longer a secret.Maybe they could move her. There are loads of empty fields, where she could hide and never be found.

Chapter 3 the secret is out

Zhara loved the country. Every day in the sun, she walked through the field. The field was filled with lovely bright flowers- pink, blue, white, purple and red. The wind had made the tallest corn sway like animals with soft fur. It was so peaceful, not like the loud destructive city.

At night, Zhara went into the woods to see Aphrodite. They sat together, looking at the beautiful fantastic stars at the same time then she  listened to the night. Sometimes, she runs and catches rabbits.

Zhara was so worried that someone might find Aphrodite. During the day, she hid deep in the  woods. At night,  she explored, but it was fully dark and so quite  it was hard to find her

One night, Zhara heard a sound but it was a loud terrifying scream. She raced into the woods and saw Aphrodite. She was showing her sharp claws. Ready to pounce  on a boy called Billy, she stood there terrified and horrified  with fear. Zhara whispered. She is going to help a rabbit  to calm down  Aphrodite. Billy had a chance to go away.

Zhara’s heart thumped. The  secret was revealed. That night she and Mrs Yaran  talked. We should move Aphrodite to a safe place where it’s deep in a forest or in the woods where no one will ever find her.

The fiery findings

Billy’s summer holidays were as slow as a sloth. Nearly every day, he went on an adventure through the forest of wonders and the shining turquoise lake. He would greet the mermaids and feed the unicorns. After all this, he would walk down to the fire gardens to meet Rave. On his way there, he was thinking about home. The city was crowded and there was no room anywhere, malls were expensive and the food was as pale as the grey gloomy clouds. But in the countryside, it was the complete opposite.

Soon, he arrived at the fire gardens. The sun had gone down and the moon was coming up. As he walked inside, he saw Rave flying as fast as thunder.

Billy feeds him then they go up in the sky to watch the countryside. The moon casts a shadow over the countryside. It was as big as Jupiter and as dark as a black hole. Rave flew back to Sarah to drop off Billy. After that, he would go off into the night sky and roar like a tiger.

Billy knew that one day he would be discovered. He didn’t want that because Rave would be killed. So most of the day they would keep him hidden in the fire gardens. She blended in there because mainly everything was trees with branches of fire.

One dusk night, Billy heard a large roar and immediately ran into the forest of wonders.

There, he saw Joseph standing there as still as a statue – terrified he clenched his teeth hard. Joseph called Billy “ B… Bi… BILLY!” Shouted Joseph who looked petrified there he fainted and collapsed on the ground.

Billy told Rave to quickly fly back, then he dragged Joseph into the house and called Sarah. Sarah came down and gulped asking “what happened”

Billy told her “he saw Rave then fainted with fear.”

Sarah and Billy talked all night “what should we do?” asked Billy, Sarah said “I don’t like this idea but maybe we should move him?”

“But where? The city has already decided to open the fire gardens?” Billy questioned.

“I’ve heard of this place far away. It’s called the fire island. I think it will be perfect because he’e surrounded by fire and all the nutrition he needs.” Sarah said

Billy said “fine but this isn’t how it was supposed to end.”

Chapter 3

At night, Serena went to the woods to see the monster. They sat together, looking at the shooting stars and listening to the peaceful night. Sometimes, she ran off to catch some bugs.

Serena worried that someone might find the monster. In the day, he hid in the scariest part of the woods. At night,  she explored the woods, but because he was the darkest and very quiet, he was hard to be seen.

One night, Serena heard a loud scream and a howl. She ran into the woods and saw the monster. He was showing  her very sharp teeth, and ready to howl. A boy named Kai stood frozen with fright.  “Stay still,” Serena whispered. She held a bug to calm the monster and Kai ran away.

Serena‘s heart pumped. Now, the secret was out. That night, she and Mrs.Heather talked. Maybe they could move the monster to a safer place.

Without warning Jacob fled and soon returned with a  small bird and ate it. And soon the moon was up.

Ressame was anxious that some would discover Jacob in the day he layed low at the stream and at night roamed the woods. His dirty brown hair helped him blend in with his surroundings .

Chapter 3: Disaster

Soon, the Summer Holidays wandered over like a clingy puppy. Full of possibilities!  Annette would wake up and feel the breeze of July winds on her orange spotted face. Everyday, she would go out in search of adventure! She would  find a rock by the lake to cimb and sometimes a tree.  If she was lucky she could find some ripe, blood red strawberries in the bushes. The sun gave everything in its path a  radiant glow, the grass grew greener than Jade gemstones. Although it was different to anything Annette had ever seen, she was starting to call it home.

At night, she went into the clearing in the  forest  to feed Ezra. They could sit together for hours under the protection of the quiet, glistening ball of grey mist. The big oak’s leaves sway in silence as the crickets’ make a gentle chirp. The creek would be motionless as the stars admired their reflection in the twilight mirror.

At night, Annette would dream of someone finding Ezra, but she knew it wasn’t possible. At day, Ezra would hide in the underground cave they had found and at night she would hunt freely as her silky smooth feathers camouflage in with the trees around.

Then one afternoon, as Annette came home from another adventure she heard a scream. She heard the sound of Ezra’s call. In broad daylight! She must have seen a rabbit! Annette didn’t know what she was doing  but she found herself running into the clearing, heart racing, mind wild. As she approached, she caught sight of Noah Harmsworth with blood dripping down his sleeve running, screaming as he went,  but her attention quickly focused on Ezra who looked distressed.

“Ezra!” Shouted Annette as the animal kicked her front legs menacingly to Noah who now was exiting the clearing. “ Ezra look, a nice ferret!” Ezra walked over and took the ferret out of Annette’s shaking hands, retrieving it back into the forest.

Annette’s heart pounded. Someone had seen her. What could she do? What would she tell Miss Astor? The animal they both adored had been seen and if they wanted her to live they had to act fast. She and Miss Astor talked about sending her back to Scotland where she had found her. There must be some sort of expert right?

The Nightmare

Chapter 2 – The Nightmare

Sam stared at Maryam, his big orange sunset eyes were on fire. His big scaly green slithering back, waiting hoping for some food. Maryam noticed his big slithery tong.

To Maryam’s surprise, she opened her

Mouth, and spots on his sharp teeth,

As yellow as can be. He sniffed Maryam’s clothes, then licked her soft hands, like a lively lizard.

“He’s shy.” said Mrs Corrin, as the great reptile vanished into the bushes.

On the way back from the odd house the wind soared through the sky and on to the Moonlight. Maryam stopped beside the music tower. Is the snake watching them? “He’ll be looking.”

Said Mrs Corrin.

“I found him lost in the woods looking for food,”said Mrs Corrin. Someone

Probably forgot him in the middle of the battlefield. “He was fast and healthy as soon as I gave him energy

He was as fast as lighting,”

Said Mrs Corrin.

“Don’t tell anyone about him otherwise they will kill him.” Said Mrs Corrin.

That night, Maryam couldn’t sleep, she just thought of Sam all alone in a deep dark miserable house. When he licked her finger’s she couldn’t bear to look. Her eyes closed, she had a nightmare Sam got lost and didn’t come back.

Night after night, Maryam visited Sam,bringing him leftovers from previous dinners.Mrs Corrin taught the snake how to hunt food.Mrs Corrin gave a dead rat and bit it right before he went back to the haunted house.

One evening, she let Maryam feel her scaly skin. Soon, was waiting for food,

And hoping for a dead rat. And Maryam changed.Maryam no longer

Was sad.Mrs Corrin could see her dancing with happiness.

Through the summer’s happy week’s,

She watched the slithering serpent snake chasing the serpent girl.Their friendship was true.
