Baby dragon poem

Something was crawling up the side of the skyship’s wooden hull! Ty whose face paled shrinked back and ducked down behind the tiller into the gloom below. She could just make out something or somebody scrabbled up the side of the ship. It was quite small and had green eyes. It paused and stared back up at her.”It’s a baby dragon,” She was calling, “and it’s hurt.” Mariana, whose brow frowned with concentration, she reached down to grip it’s outstretched paw and pulled it onto the deck. “It would be hurt in the storm.”

The dragonlet shivered with cold and whimpered. Ty dashed off to fetch a ship’s blanket, wondered anxiously if the dragonlet’s mother was pleased to know that thay have helped her baby. Outside,Inside

Outside, the snow fell gracefully across the house.

Inside, there was a cat laying calmly on his bed.

Outside, the green trees swept gracefully side to side.

Inside, the bath tap stayed running until the dog was washed.

Outside, the sea was foaming white while the sun set on the horizon.

SPaG

Sabrina Carpenter fastly strided into her magical ,fascinating Short & Sweet tour, waiting for her fans to come and watch her beautiful show she prepared for them. Her wonderful boots shined like diamonds as she was singing in spotlight

“ Are you ready for the best tour ever?” She screamed cheerfully.

The ship of stars

The ship of stars

The moon shining through the navy ocean,

The wind rushing past the twinkle,

Became a massive albino boat,

The waves crashing to the jagged rocks,

Then appeared  a stripy white and red lighthouse brightly turned on to help people see,

The boat stopped to feed the glowing  fishes .

Chapter 3

During the night, Ellie was sobbing and she saw a small shadow emerge, “W-w-who are  you? Hello?” shouted Ellie.

“My name is Sam, I’ve been locked in here for days. I don’t remember the time, ”he whispered. Sam was in the corner sobbing into his hands whilst Ellie was walking back and forward. “I don’t know what to do. I Need help!” shouted Sam, “Please!…”

Ellie was frantically looking for an escape. She thought to herself, “Window? No. Door?”

“Why should I try?” Sam said, “We’re doomed! Absolutely doomed!”

Ellie shouted, “How are we going to get out?”

Every so often, Ellie snapped at Sam, “Why are you not helping me? You could stop sitting there like a stuffed rat and help me get out!” Ellie mumbled. Sam was just lost in his own thoughts. So many questions like will we ever get out? Where will we end up? Will we stay here forever? All of these questions spun around his head. Ellie was trying to work out how to get away from this place. One single question hit Sam’s head, what if we use Ellie’s hair pin?

Sam awoke from his thoughts, “Ellie! Use your hair pin!”

“Finally you said  SOMETHING!” Ellie shouted.

Ellie took out her hair pin, “This might actually work!” Ellie stated. She took it out of her hair, poked the pin in the lock…but it didn’t work. “Ohh great, I thought you were actually useful for a second! Get more useful things in your head and we might actually escape!” Ellie shouted.”

Later that night, Ellie was awoken by rattling in a bush. “Sam, Sam, wake up, Sam!” Ellie whispered.  “He’s not awake! Amazing…” Ellie angrily muttered to herself. She looked out of the small window in the corner. The rattling got louder and louder. Two glowing eyes glared at Ellie.

“Ellie, give me some clicks will ya?” muttered the animal.

“Who are Yyyyy-you? How do you know my name?” Ellie Whispered.

“Ellie, it’s Bumpkin! Give me some wind ups will ya?”

Ellie carefully wound up Bumpkin. Bumpkin said faithfully, “Thank you Ellie, here is your reward.” Bumpkin opened his mouth and stretched his legs out, “Here, take this key,” Bumpkin whispered with no energy. “You’ll need it.” Ellie wasn’t sure this would work. Then Ellie put the key in the rusted lock. Click. The door swung open and Ellie glanced at the open door.

“Bumpkin, this is AMAZING! Oh my gosh! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I owe you a million clicks!” Ellie exclaimed.

Bumpkin Muttered “Ellie please give me more clicks.”

“Yes of course!” Ellie gave Bumpkin a bunch more clicks until Bumpkin was fully powered. “Sam! Let’s get out, we’ve got no time to waste!”

The Equinemander

We wait quietly sitting on hay-nets. “What did you see?”  I ask her as the salty sea wind beat against the hay barn. Before she even says anything i know what she’s going to say and i was right. She claims to of seen the Equinemander.

Not even 10 minutes  later we are venturing in the darkness, retracing Autumns steps. I know. I should be inside the stables doing haynets and getting the horses ready for turnout. All i can say is Autumn is the most bossiest and persuasive person i have met. The wild wind blows me and Autumn  so we are getting dragged sideways like a paperclip in the wind.

The clouds start to cry as we pass The Premier Inn hotel, Bob and Billy’s fish and chip shop, Ivy’s ice cream parlour and Kats Cafè. All of them are getting beaten by buckets of rain and hail. Only a few cars flash by in a hurry to return to home.

Autumn yanks me towards the peir. The very end of it and then i see it so clearly. So recognisable. You could see its infamous horse hind legs like a centaur, its hundred if not thousand eyes. We edge towards it without thinking, our breath on pause.

A low neighing noise stirs in its throat, it sounds almost like a struggling grumble deeply engraved into its oesophagus

Are we scared? Most definitely. And at this point i’m asking myself. Is it really there?

Silently Autumn shuffles towards it. I lift my hand up to grab her back but i don’t have the courage to do it. I shake and tremble, not just from the cold. Even the shivers in my spine were scared away. I don’t think Autumn noticed it as she crept blankly past it. I can notice its weight shifting to its hind end, prepared to leap. “S-” i open my mouth to yell but the stench of rot and decay fills my nostrils. Suddenly,  Like a raging horse. It goes in for its prey.

Swirling mad hail  fills the sky, cancelling out the rain. Autumn freezes in shock as it decides to bolt past her swiftly diving back into the cover of the raging waves. It excuses itself with a disappointed and starved whinny.

Outside/Inside

Outside, the playful children laughed and skipped along the freshly-cut field as the radiant sun beamed down on them. Inside, the teenagers sat in silence, demanded by Mr Gloom as he handed out the hundred paged homework.

Outside, the abandoned shed stood and stared at the overgrown grass. Inside, the cosy living room warmed up by the hearth of the lighten fireplace.

Outside, the young kids ran around the school play ground as the teachers chatted beneath the beating sun. Inside, the hopeful family of 3 sat around the small, oak dining table, discussing what to eat for dinner.

Outside, the sweet bird song of a bluebird flying to The Big Oak. Inside the deep cave, the monstrous ice giant munched on freezing cold icicles that were attached to the roof of the cave.

Outside the castle of the royal family, the maids began to sweep the muddy floors for the thirty-forth time. Inside the penthouse of a five star apartment, Gordon Ramsy whispered his most famous recipe of his restaurants.

Mr Smiley

As soon as warm-hearted Mr Smiley tip toed into class seven familiar room appeared to beam. He was fit with a friendly look rather like an energetic puppy.

“Good morning children,” the new teacher said softly, “I’m not used to seeing such happy faces!”
