chapter 3 of albinos journey

The walls of the cave had a small crack on them and griffins started to pour in through the cracks. Within seconds the wolves were in a deeper part of the cave Albino could see swords everywhere. The Griffins are ready to attack the mountains. Out of nowhere, a figure appeared standing tall straight in front of them. It was Medusa, the monster who had destroyed their cave. Her body was only green. “Going somewhere?” she hissed, “Going nowhere.” she demanded. Within a few minutes the overgrown garden was full of griffins all colours and sizes

When the Griffins had cleared, there was no sign of Medusa. A strange coldness had crept into his soul and clutched at his heart.

By sunrise the next morning, the two brave wolves had left the house behind and by nightfall they had found a cave to take shelter for the night.

Hazel Grove Forest

Chapter 3

With a stomp of hooves, what seems to be horse, looked grand. It was Frank, Yohans half master. He was engulfed by armor from head to hoove, his helmet was made from the lightest ore, grypholite, which is only used by the worthiest armys. In his hand he gripped onto a mighty blade. The blob leader shared a warning and a town of blobs appeared out of the blue: they were all colours and heights.

When the fighting had cleared, blob bodies were scattered throughout the swamp but there was no sing of Frank. Sneakily, Asclepius went back to the base camp, disturbed by what he had seen. His spine tingled with fear. He had come for us.

By sunrise, Achilles and Asclepius had left that wreck far behind and they headed to Hazel Grove Forest. The journey took almost all day and so it was that by nightfall, they found themselves under a small bridge huddled together, seeking warmth. The water rushed down the harsh stream and every couple of seconds the water rumbled when it was blocked by a tree trunk. Achilles was uncertain that they could make it but Asclepius felt that they were going in the correct direction and that they will be there in no time. By midnight, they had reached their destination.

Outside the bridge,  the bitter wind swept the birds nests out of the trees. Inside, the air was warm and the brothers took their first wash. A screech traveled through the air. The moonlight was blocked by an unfamiliar object. Above the bridge the floor boards creaked. Through a crack in the floor, an eye glared.Achilles was scared, Asclepius tried to fight back but didn’t succeed.

Too late! Frank grinned.”Finding hope,”he sneered from behind his inconspicuous mask.”Finding trouble, it seems,” he added wagging his finger. It looked as if they were trying to find, find their one safe place.

With a thump of feet, what seemed to be a dog suddenly became hideous. It had a lion-like head covered in mud and a green tail; it was too dark for Jadey to fully make things out. He spun back behind the shed.Listening to the beast , he heard a deep growl. Jadey threw a stick away from his location quickly its attention changed.

Hearing the sprint of the colossal beast, Jadey slowly appeared from the worn out shed.Without a moment’s thought, he trudged through the tall grass towards the barn.Cautiously, he woke Ashley up and told her to keep quiet. He was sure that thing was after him!

By sunrise, Jadey and Ashley had left the farm and were heading across the great hilly plains towards the Snow-rock mountain. The journey took hours so it was that by the evening, they found themselves sheltering in a cave on the hillside where on the inside there were blue rocks scattered across the ground and they made a clang sound when hitting the ground but on the outside it was calm the wind whistled in the soft breeze and the grass slowly swayed.

Jadey was worried they would be found but Ashley reassured him.

Minute by minute hour by hour they headed through the hot boiling day until they reached a little cottage . Here they stopped.

Heading inside, it was trashed pots, pans, rugs and even books were scattered across the old wooden floor. Suddenly, Jadey noticed a light behind a bookshelf; he then pushed it aside to find stairs. Jadey walked down. Jadey looked around. Jadey saw nothing. Walking deeper into the obis they both screamed. They were trapped “ HELP! ” Jadey screamed. A growl was heard in the distance the creature from earlier ( a chimera)

“ Going somewhere, “ The Creature growled, “ Going nowhere! “ he hissed while clicking his fingers. It was here they were taken deeper into the tunnel. They were locked in separate cells. His ultimate plan was forming together. He was planning to eat them and stop them from reaching the Land Of The Dead.

Podkin Story – Chapter 3

                  Chapter 3

With a yawn, off then went. It was early morning and they were exhausted from the journey the previous day. They didn’t have a set destination but all they knew is that they needed to get away from there.

By midday, the couple had left the tavern and were well on their way. The journey took hours and so it was that by nightfall, they arrived at the front door of a well lit, old cabin. Without a moment’s thought they knocked. No answer. They knocked again. No answer. They strolled in; the fire was alight but nobody was to be seen. Lucille was worried that they had taken a wrong turn but when they checked the map  they found their exact location right at the foot of the mountain: Mt. Fuji.

Searching the house, they found: an old stale pizza loaf of bread and a blanket. Lucille busied herself making the cabin feel more homely, laying out a blanket and their bivi bag , making the bed and wiping all cobwebs out of the corners. After she was done Nick felt more comfortable and began to settle down.

chapter 3

With a cry of death, the ground began to shake, the underworld was being awakened  by Hades. Soon an Army of bones and skulls would be rising from the land beneath their feet and would be after the duo of survivors. Albera was ready.Bellerophon was worried. Despite their feelings, they had to push on but they wouldn’t be alone, there would be a Hero, but they didn’t know that yet.

The next day the sky was dark and had red and orange patches dotted in areas. They had set off early to get to the nearest village, it was far through the mountains. Later that day, the Army had risen, the village was in sight, but they were at the top of a mountain, this was a large problem as the Army had risen and had started to head for them, they could hear the thump of footsteps coming up the same mountain as they were on. Half way down a mountain, there was a small block of trees they thought they might be able to hide from the Army in a tree house.(They only knew about the treehouse because it was on their map).

The next thing they knew, something, someone whispered in their ears and BANG! They had not been awake for the next bit but they were being carried in an old potato bag. They heard voices and sounds when they awoke and the bag revealed a flash of light with two dark figures standing in front of them,”Going somewhere” the figure screeched from behind his animal “Going nowhere I believe. But all of a sudden, the sky cracked and rain started to pour, it was Zeus, the god of thunder he was awakening lightning struck the cave and part of hades army burnt to the ground. There was now an escape passage but they were tied in rope and couldn’t get out. This was the end.But no, in a moment’s flash, Zeus swooped in and cut the rope with his golden lightning bolt that he held in his hand, he snagged them both and ran for his hideout in troll marsh there they could be safe for the night.

That night they ate sour dough bread with mushroom soup and drank fresh water from the creek nearby. The trolls were very welcoming and happy to see the two, which helped them to settle for the night. Albera and Bellerophon talked about their journey over warm milk and a slow burning fire. That night they got to sleep in a huge underground safeplace that the trolls had prepared once Hades and Chimera started attacks on villages.

The pear woke up early, some of the young trolls were playing in the safe place. They started to pack.

Chapter 3

With a boom, what appeared to be a Cyclopes, stepped closer. It was Steven, one of Hades’ helpers. His face was covered in old battle scars, his body encased in thick, black armour , bones and skulls hung from his belt. In his giant hand, he clasped a spiky blood-covered bat. A nearby Mountain Troll yelled a warning and soon the tunnels filled with the angry creatures.

Once the battle had finished, there were many dead corpses lying on the ground. Carefully, Lyra picked her way back to her brothers, terrified from what she had just seen. An odd chill crept up her spine. She was sure that Steven had come for them!

By dawn, the three siblings had left Snowdrift Mountains far behind them and were nearing Gloopmarsh swamp. The journey took nearly all day; it was around dusk when they came across a cabin. The moon glowed bright in the inky black sky. Malcom was concerned that they were to near the caves, but Lyra showed him that there was a whole mountain range was between them!

Outside the cabin, fog thickened and loomed closer- it became impossible to see. Lyra decided to wash some swamp berries- they were ripe and edible. She sighed and reached into her bag for blankets but she found something else instead: a sword. It was jagged around the edges and had a strong handle wrapped in leather.  It was perfect for fighting and they coils protect themselves with it. The weather worsened and the room suddenly darkened. Hades was near.

The wooden walls of the cabin creaked and seemed unstable. All too quickly, a griffon charged through the door and cornered them. Lyra gripped the sword and held it out before her. Malcom and Fred shrank back, afraid. At least they had a weapon to protect them.

Too soon! A shadow stretched across the room and the griffin backed down.  Hades stared them in the eye.”Fighting me?” he sneered,”fighting no-one,” he added, smiling evilly. Hades bundles them up onto the griffon and led them further through the swamp. It was here that Hades had been hiding, hing from the world, hatching a plan to attack the one place they thought they would be safe-Zeus’ kingdom!

Chapter 3- Grace

Chapter 3

With a roar, what appeared to be Cyclopes shook the ground. Cyclopes was right outside. His clothes were ripped and grubby, his one eye was red and full of puss and his arms were covered in blood and scars. Before long, people had arrived all different shapes and sizes ready to defeat Cyclopes.

Once the fighting had cleared, there were many bruised people. Cyclopes had gone… Shaken up, hermes and Aphrodite looked at each other. They both knew Cyclopes had been there for them.

By sunrise, Hermes and Aphrodite had left the shed and were traveling to Rainy Rainforest. The journey took all day and so by sunset, they found themselves trudging into the rainforest feeling like they could fall asleep any second. They made a den out of branches leaves and twigs. Aphrodite was worried that they weren’t camouflage enough and Cyclopes would find them. So Hermes covered the den in leaves so his sister would feel safe.

Outside the den, the sun had just gone down. Inside, Hermes and Aphrodite thought about Cyclops. Cautiously, Aphrodite unwrapped an item their Mother had given them before they left. It was a jewel. It was glowing. That meant Cyclopes was near…

Peeking through a whole in the den, Hermes saw Cyclopes and Cyclopes saw them… They made an exit. “Going somewhere?” Cyclopes hissed “Not going anywhere!” he added. He snatched Hermes and his sister and took them to a cavern.

How would they ever escape? They would be there forever.

Chapter 3

With a muffled rumble, the ground began to shake, flowers falling to the ground. Hades was near. Snow began to slide from the mountains. A landslide. Hades and his three headed dog were horrifying. Scars dotted around his face representing each battle he had entered. In his hand wet with blood, was a dead rabbit for his grim dog. Bones falling to the ground.

When the Terrible toads had cleared, the remains of guts were scattered on the ground like jelly worms. Hades was gone. Carefully, Flash crept back to the cottage badly shaken by the gore he had seen. A spine-chilling coldness crept up his back like spiders scuttering away from the warm.

When the sun had risen, Flash, Simba and Dorris had left the abandoned cottage and were making their way towards Mushroom Marsh. The journey took almost 8 hours and so it was that by the time of dusk they found a cave on the verge of the path close to a little oasis. The water shone in the moonlight reflecting the minute stars. Simba was worried that they were too close but Dorris showed him the ancient map and their route took them through Mushroom Marsh.

Outside the cave, the thick fog floated around the dark ink like sky. Inside the cave, Flash busied himself with toasting marshmallows and warming up some hot chocolate. Worried, Simba unravelled the antique. It showed a treasure Map which had directions all over the place which led to ; Hapula! Even Flash knew that this meant the Chimera army would be going there.

The walls of the cave seemed to shudder and bulge as a beam of light and through a hole toads scurried in. Out of the blue, they appear to be trapped in a rusty, vast Cage. Simba had his head in his hands, Flash had tears falling down his face, and Dorris was praying for help hoping to find the saviour that could get them out of the trouble.

Too late! A figure emerged from the shadows and entered the cave, even the toads hurried back. Chuck the Chimera smirked at Simba. “ Escaping from my grasp?” he exclaimed from the front of the crowd. “ I should think not,” he added, popping his pus-filled wart. Hurrying forwards, the toads brought them to a cavern in the mountain to be shown to the whole Chimera army. Terrified, Simba gazed at Chuck. It looked as if the army was hoping, hoping they would make it out alive from their next victims/ battle- could it be the Island Of Hapula…
