Chapter 1-The Escape 

As the Gorm attacked the warren,Kip,Kaz and Kue were pushed into the bedroom by auntie foxy.They were terrified.”Why are we here?Are father is dying”exclaimed Kip.The children listened to the chaos downstairs while aunt foxy looked for something wrapped in parchment paper.

Once she found it she gave it to the children and said “Watch carefully”as she took an old,torn book from the book shelf. A tunnel appeared right in front of them.Their eyes like boulders,they stepped inside.Kip and Kaz argued with foxy about how they should be helping their father instead of him dying.Kue whined because he got taken away from his mum.

Aunt Foxy heard the footsteps draw near her and the children.Before they Knew what was going to happen,Aunt foxy fastened the door with a clang and the terrified children listened to their aunt scream in horror.They were alone. No one to call.No one to help.Nothing.”We have to find a way out somehow” Whispered Kaz.

Kip didn’t say a word, he just ran as fast as he could and Kaz soon caught up with him.Although,They were exhausted They still ran until they couldn’t breath.It soon became dark and Kaz and Kue tired to fall asleep while Kip looked after them.They were safe for now…

Chapter 2- The Footprint 

Kip and Kaz woke up and soon began packing for the long journey ahead of them. Kue was still asleep like he would be even if he was in the warren.After Kip helped Kaz he began to search the tunnel “I think we’re ready to go” whispered Kaz as she pick up kue and began to walk,They heard a familiar iron metal scraping against the floor;They froze.

Once they heard the noise back away they crept out of the tunnel as fast as they could. Kip determined he was going to lead them to safety even though Kaz is smarter than him.

As the children started walking,Kue woke up and was starving.Kip and kaz tried to explain that they won’t be having food for a long time.20 minutes later, the children came across Shark-Fin beach “This means it going to take us a hour to reach a safe environment”shrieked Kaz.The children carried on walking yet it became darker and darker and the sound of whistling birds became quieter.

When they grew closer Kip noticed large footprints in the thick mud. But he didn’t think anything of it until he saw it on the grass too.”Kaz looked at this he cried out. When she saw it.It felt like a puzzle. So the children were trying to figure it out yet Kue was so hungry he ended up eating the grass.

He soon dozed-off in Kaz’s lap.While kue was asleep Kip and Kaz came up with many ideas of who the footprints could be.But the only one which stood out was the Gorm.Then it clicked …  

Chapter 3-The Gorm Attack 

Minutes later,The band of rabbits scurried out of the house as quick as cheaters.They were terrified.The rabbits decided to dart to blue water river.

In a flash,Lightning came flooding down and Big,horrifying Gorm teleported in front of them. They froze.Kip then tugged on Kaz as fast as he could and dashed into the old,dark forest.

Within a moment, the children heard the enormous stomping behind them.Kue saw them draw closer;he screamed in horror! Seconds later,the band of rabbits came across and abandoned warren.”Quick get inside!” Kip shouted.

 Once they entered, they sat down and rested.All muscles in their body ached.”Are we safe here?” Whispered Kaz.Kip didn’t say anything he just nodded.But all of a sudden,Kaz saw a larger figure in the window and heard the Gorm say”We’re we taking them”.

In a blink of an eye,they got grabbed and the children couldn’t move an inch.”Take them to hell!”The leader shouted.In a flash,They entered a new world.  

Chapter 4-Going home 

Once the children entered,The smell of rotten rabbit gusted in their faces.It was old and haddend been cleaned in a long time.The floor and walls were red but had a tinge of black.”where are we” Questioned Kaz “I don’t know but keep quiet or they will hear us” replied kip.As kip looked around,while he was in the cage” he saw many entries and exits. The children began to whisper and came up with an idea.

They decided to unwrap the mystery item wrapped in parchment paper.Inside was a dagger”A dagger what’s that going to do”questioned kip.There was a note that said “Hi children i’ve given you this to defend yourself.Also it doesn’t cut iron.

Once they got the dagger;they cut the rope that they were attached to “how are we going to get out?” explained kaz “Didn’t it say it can cut anything but iron”questioned Kip. Kaz nodded and Kip began cutting the brick. It didn’t take long.

They began to run;Kue was still asleep but in a split second they heard a familiar voice.”Did you hear that?” said Kaz “Yes” , explained Kip. They began searching and finally “Dad!” they both yelled in excitement. In a flash Kip sat his dad free and their dad began to call for someone to help.at that moment, a mighty Lion and four badgers appeared and crept behind the large guards.

Once the lion reached the rabbits they climbed his back and they slivered like snakes past the gorm and they blocked all exits and arrived at Grassy Hill “Do you remember” said Kaz sadly “I do”said kip  and 20 minutes later they arrived at the warren and found their mum sitting on the rocking chair and when she saw them she leaped from her chair and asked all of them if they were ok.And once they setted in they lived happily ever after.

Have you been give a baby unicorn to look after?Well your in the right spot.Follow these instructions and you’ll have a well trained unicorn.

What will you need:A bed,silk blanket,lots of toys,an outside area,a shimmering waterfall,trees,long damp grass,food and water and plenty of love.

First,you want a decent size area for you unicorn to play and sleep.We suggest that you have a tall fence so that it can escape and get into danger.Also, make sure to have an average toy box.

Next,make sure to feed you unicorn twice a day since they get hungry quickly.They will need water from the shimmering waterfall since they can’t have normal water.

Then,give it the attention it needs otherwise it will feel lonely.They like nothing more than human contact.

Also,put it on a set diet because it will end up ill since it doesn’t like food change and will end up having to go to they vet and be put on medication.

After that,make sure to take it on daily walks so that it can get exercise and get to discover the world and town it lives in.

Later on, play with your unicorn.However don’t play with it to much otherwise it will get too hyper.

Finally,stay with your unicorn during thunder and lightning since they can get anxious by them self in the storms.

Be prepared for it to grow out of the house. You can always move it to a stable if you don’t want to see it fly away.

Three days later,Herbie and I are in the cafe drinking tea and eating cake, my favourite desert. Outside,The waves were crashing and in the distance there’s a rumble in the sky.Inside,The heating is on and the steam from the tea floods the room.”Violet,listen,Please i know where it lives…”

It turns out Herbie had decided to carry on searching all across town.He claims he saw web-like footprints on the entrance way to the cave.

I lock all the windows and doors in the cafe and turn the lights off.I grab a scarf,fur coat and gloves to keep me warm.I also packed torches because I knew herbie would forget them.The wind gets stronger and the waves crash against the shore.We walk for miles trying to find the cave but we had no luck.Herbie runs of and shouts”Quick i’ve found it!”I run over to him and there is a sign that says “No one beyond this point!”but that doesn’t stop Herbie.

I hadn’t believed Herbie this whole time till we saw the wed-like feet in the mouth of the dark,damp cave.”Quick” Herbie says in an excited tone.I give her a torch so he doesn’t fall over.But I have a feeling Herbie is leading us into trouble!

The cave is dark.Darker than the night sky.It smells of rotten fish and feels damp. I shine my torch like I’m looking for treasure.My body shakes as we get further into the cave.However,Herbie found sticks,old clothes and feathers.In a nest we have found glowing red scales on a miniature klombomander.We stand there in shock.

In a flash,I feel a stab of guilt.”We shouldn’t be here…let’s go!”I say as I try and find my way to safety.But then we hear The low growl,The rotten fish and see The glowing scales.Herbie steps forward;I step back…

Klombomander invasion 

The Klombomander is a variety of mammal.They are related to the malamander but are different in many ways.Most Klombomanders will turn green if you treat them with respect.

Klombomanders are easy to identify.They have razor sharp teeth to crush the dead animal bones.Also,Klombomanders have glowing spikes on their head to alert humans how they are feeling.However,they have a pointy tail that can inject poison into human and animal bodys.

Klombomanders usually eat old bones to help their body.If these creatures are lucky they will eat skyblue klomberrys.Most Klombomanders live on land but tend to hibernate in the crystal clear sea.It is of considerable concern with the Klombomander invading people’s homes.All humans should evacuate amiantly.Visit www.savetheklombomanders.co.uk to give these creatures an excellent life.

Dear diary,

                  Late at night,I was sitting at the beach with my dog(buddy)watching the sunset fade to darkness.But when I got up to leave I saw a shadow hiding behind a leg of the pier! I carefully walked up to the shadow as silent as a mouse but then black smoke appeared right in front of me.As I try to escape but the creature pulls me back and took me to the pier and at that point I was unconscious 

Sometime later,I was found by the locals and got taken to the Grand Nautilus hotel.I was covered in blood and bruises.Before the light went to darkness someone else was attacked…

It doesn’t have to be the albino deer galloping through the misty forest.

 or the magpie feather balancing like a ballerina on the old,cracked brick wall.

It could be the iced cobwebs hanging from the wooden fence shining like diamonds

 or a snowflake falling from the sky unknown so delicate and fragile

 or even how the glass dazzles the sunlight.

Be perplexed as the squirrel staring into the window looking over all of the children.

Consider now how mundane can become significant,when seen afresh.

Even a piece of flint can glimmer in the sunbeam as smooth as polished wood.

On Monday,I hear the muntjac deer roaming the deep,damp forest.The deer darts as the noise of children echoes around the forest.

On Tuesday,I see the Weeting football club training in the icy,cold weather.The players kick the ice cube into the back of the net.

On Wednesday,I tasted the takeaway chips which burned my mouth.The steam rose to the air like a bonfire and warmed the room.

On Thursday,I touched the sharp flint which scratched my finger.I feel the smooth face that shines in the bright sun.

On Friday,I run the daily mile.Like a cheater I run six laps around the old school building.

On Saturday,I dream about an albino deer galloping through the misty woods.As white as snow it stands out from the rest.

On Sunday,I found a shiny magpie feather.It was as soft as silk.Lost by the thief of the sky.
