Diary Entry

Last night the most incredible thing happened. I was walking along the sea wall of my local fishing town on my normal route along the beach after a long day on my shift at the fish and chip shop. The waves crashed against the sea wall and the tide slowly came in the cold breeze hit my face. I rapped up warm with my scarf , hat and gloves and carried on walking.

All I could smell was the scent of the orchard flowers from the graveyard my dad was buried in on rosemary topping hill that overlooked the bright blue ocean. A sound of a dog caught my attention as I watched it stride across the swell of the one fishing boats heading to sea out of the boat packed harbour.

I sat on the pair eating my last churro from the night beforehand keeping both eyes on the seagulls which were eyeing them. When a slightly big creature emerged from the sea bed stomping on past the smooth but crumbling rocks. It’s claws marked the sand pushing a storm of sand into the gloomy night of the ocean as its eyes daringly glared at my face. Roaring it kept going all the local fishing families where now out of there homes wondering what the sound was but thought nothing of it. Then it ran back into the shallow end of the ocean. I called the police immediately but they just had a laugh. I legged it back to my house it seemed like every living thing had fled.

Had I just seen the mythical creature from all the story books? Were the hundreds of legends true? I would never find out because no one would believe me. I just acted like nothing had ever happened that incredible night.

The Lava Dragon

The Lava Dragon

His skin is as hard as

Bedrock.

His  teeth are as sharp as

Rocks.

His tongue is as hot as fire.

His scales are as hot as lava

And hard as stone.

His claws are as sharp as a

Bone like it is digging into the earth.

His eyes are as hot as hell.

His wings are made out of fluff and stone.

His tail is as long as a train his tail is as big as heaven.

On Monday , I saw a poor tiny  hedgehog with a sore leg slowly

strolling around the Moores of Apple Town, Mexico.

On Tuesday, I walked across the beach of shady a small fishing town off the coast of Scotland looking for hurt  sea creatures and rubbish across the  orange hot sand in Scotland, United Kingdom.

On Wednesday, I found a shivering sloth named Jim  with sun burn deep in the Amazon Rainforest  in a small village called Span.

On Thursday, I heard  a gladiator falling to the ground in the Ancient Colosseum in Rome, screaming out for help.

On Friday, I tasted the scent of lovely gardens in the centre of Japan,Tokyo.

On Saturday, I dreamed of a tropical jungle in the depths of Russia gleaming over the capital city Moscow with a gleam of sunlight bang in the middle.

On Sunday, I touched my home in London, United Kingdom.

Charlie Lloyed and the mysterious clock.

CHAPTER 3

All day, Ben sat moodily staring at the rock floor. However, Charlie used his power round the coal searching for a way out.

He spent some time at the window, checking if he could wriggle through but it was to small. There’s no glass in the window so he was shouting for help. 5 minutes later, Charlie stopped because it was to far from eneything. Then Charlie budged through the bricks but they wouldn’t budge.

Every so often, Charlie snapped at Ben “Instead of watching me why won’t you come and help,”said Charlie

“There’s no way to escape.” Replied Ben. So Charlie walked slowly trapping on the walls until the door. Was there a way of undoing the lock? Charlie spent a long time using the hair clip to undo the door.

Exasperated,he span round and once again he launched his frustration onto Ben,”I cannot do this without you,”said Charlie, shrugged his shoulders.

‘It’s no good. We are trapped good and proper,’ muttered Ben sighing as he spoke.

‘But you’ve just not tried!’ Rotorted Charlie, standing with his hand on his hips and his eyes ablaze with irritation.

The children sat in silence, Charlie folded his hands, trapped his foot impatient and stewed with anger. It was the next day, Inside, the shadow stretched across the coal shed as soon it was pitch black. Outside, stars freckled the night and the crescent moon as the light crossed the gardens of Primrose Lane.

Just as Charlie drifted to sleep and then heard a noise. A whisper in the grass. Something moving. Within a second they both peered out of the ledge. A low squawk two brown eyes shone. Charlie reached out and Callum nuzzled his hand. “I need a wind-up.” He thrummed, laying down Callum     tried to fly up. Callum flew up to the ledge so Charlie could give Callum a wind-up.

As soon as Callum was reenergised his tone changed. He drop a key into Charlie’s palm. “Time to escape.” He whirred stretching his back leg preparing to run.

Slowly, Charlie put the rusted key into the lock nothing happened for minute. Suddenly, a creak happened. Eventually, the door opened. The children peered outside. The conservatory door but the lights remained off and with a miler second they were running across the trimmed lawn. Towards a stone, brick wall. Callum leaded the way.

10 minutes later, Charlie spotted a old mysterious barn. Charlie told Callum what they had found out while Callum was cleaning his paws. He had managed to sneak as carefully as possible to sneak past Docter James. In a moment, Ben made a fire and they all sat in warmth. Where was Charlie’s dads clock? Where was Will Farrell?

Charlie and the mysterious clock by Will

CHAPTER 2

The light of 32 Primrose Lane remained off and the doors were crooked and no one’s opened the doors for some months. Outside, the bricks started to crack like chef copping a fish. Inside, dust settled on the furniture like unwanted snow.

Charlie rustled his money in his pocket and pulled out a single, small brass key. Charlie’s hands was shivering Charlie slowly pushed the key in the keyhole and turned the key clockwise. Nervously, the two friends stepped inside as the floorboards creaked and the door slammed but before it slammed the wind howled inside the house.

Charlie and Ben bounded upstairs and headed to Charlie’s bedroom. Callum sniffed around. Inside Charlie’s bedroom had cobwebs but everything was still the same. Charlie’s wall of adventures was still the same his book. Charlie and Ben both found the same mysterious clock. It was still safe.

Slowly, Ben picked up the clock and opened it. Inside there was the last thing he did. A Blueprint for the mechanical to go evil. “Wow” Ben said in amazed. “This must be why we’re chasing them.” Said Ben. This must be worth a fortune and it will put people out of business too. No wonder he has enimes.’

“Thats the reason why there a lot of fuss” whispered Charlie, staring at the Blueprint.

“Indeed” came a icey voice from them corridor Charlie and Ben froze in shock. It’s Doctor James he work at the university. He put an evil smile on his face with white hair he lacked in warmth “I’ve been waiting for you to lead me to Will’s design.” He said snatching it from Charlie.

A few minutes later, the children were trapped in a old coal bunker. There was a small window. It was dark. Charlie wiped the coal off the sack of coal. “The snake,” Charlie whispered fervently. ‘He’s double-crossed my papa.’ We’ll never escape muttered Ben sitting on the floor. Oh yes we will, said Charlie determined not to be outwitted be such a scoundrel. “We are going to papa.” ‘We’ll never die from that old villain.’ Said Charlie.

‘Good luck with that,’ muttered Ben, so slowly that Charlie could not hear him. Staring at the floor, he could feel only sense of death.
