The car
The car
The crooked car laid against the
field side bushes.
It’s roof as orange as a forest fire.
show out in the sunlight.
It’s wheels as deflated as a popped balloon.
It’s seats and headlights gone like a lost child.
It’s rusty door beat up like a fight in a boxing match.
and as it opens mysteriously out of nowhere it squeaks
like a little mouse.
It’s bonnet as tilted as a plane doing a loop to loop.
It’s petrol cap no longer useable.
