The lonely, lifeless leaf
Dropped off the colourful tree, it never talked again
Like a dead clam, its veins faded away
Like a piece of bone
Like a lifeless Saturn trying to breathe, and
Its chalky feel made my heart freeze
It was a finger print rotting its way into my body.
