He bike poem

The ancient, broken bicycle tilted against the silver birch.

 

The rubber wheels stiff as opening a bottle on lemonade, grains of grass winding up the rotten wheels,

the open wounded punctures not letting any air in.

 

The saddle towering over the pale yellow buttercups.

 

The rotten chains holding the bike together.

 

The copper handle bars stand full of flowers touching the silver birch
