Winter haiku – by Kai

Frosted wind bites faces
Howls of cold and old
Frozen breeze slashing

Iced moon up above
Shallow as water, visible tonight
Just there in a hands reach

All is frosted
All the time , day to night
Attached gems not so bright

Snowmen cry in despair
As they melt into somewhere
A blob in a road

A robin’s tweet
Melodie like a place in heaven
chorus of angels

Cars spin in heavy snow
While tracks are left lone in a road
It is now cleared

Christmas tree sparkles
Right outside the window
Santa says ho ho ho
