Outside, the autumn leaves swirled through the air, hitting people in the face. Indoors, the many candles flickered in the light breeze flowing through the ancient building. Violet tightened her thin, purple raincoat, as she shifted the bags and boxes, she had to find something, anything, to keep her warm in the creepy, abandoned shack. She had left home without a word, it had seemed hours since then, friends, family, warmth, and now it seemed like she was the most useless person ever…
