Just an ordinary day by Frances
Julie was a normal girl, that lived in a normal street, but that was all going to change in one simple day. At school the sunlight beamed onto the clear windows in her favourite class, art. Today was her favourite day and she and her friends were going out to play. On the way out she saw her friends with another girl, but that wasn’t the thing that surprised her, oh no. It was that they were talking about how horrible Julie was. Ginny whispered “ she’s just a lame girl which no one likes.” Gertrude spoke “She’s the one who made us less popular”. Julie wasn’t thinking so she confronted her horrible friends, breaking apart their years of friendship. Now she was alone. With no one to help her. What had she done? The rest of the day was misery. Who knew it would be so hard to have no friends. Finally the day came to an end and she plodded out of the once amazing classroom.
Somehow she took so long to walk to her house that it was now midnight and above her a storm was brewing. On her way home she started to speed up as she knew the storm was coming. But unfortunately that didn’t work as still miles from home, lightning struck. All around her the world became a different place, it was cold, dark and stormy. As she cautiously turned her head her heart jumped into her mouth because slipping into the shadows was someone, something, but what was it?
