Bat dragons! By: Ruby

Bat Dragons!

There are many species of dragon and one of the most unknown is the Bat dragon. Humans know very little about Bat dragons as they are rarely noticed. Generally, this breed of dragon come out at night, so this may explain why they are rarely spotted.

If you see a Bat dragon, how would you know if it really was one? In fact, Bat dragons look fairly different to normal dragons. However, they still have the typically long tail and wings. Usually, they have a small baby pink nose on the end of their beige snout. Bat dragon’s wings are also shaped like a bat’s but are orange instead of black. Many Bat dragons are beige, orange and black, sometimes even brown! Amazingly, many can leave trails of sweets because their favourite time of year is halloween!

No one actually knows where bat dragons live throughout the year. Some believe that they live in dark caves on top of cliffs, others believe that they live in abandoned houses or schools! However, during Autumn you may see them roaming the streets or alleys. If you dream of seeing a Bat dragon, I would suggest to sit on your roof with a bucket of sweets. They would sniff the sweet scent and get attracted to it. Bat dragons would chase the scent and you will finally meet one. Warning: if you dare touch a Bat dragon, don’t touch the jagged spikes on it’s tail! They are full of poison!
