What is…. By Jake SWW
What is fluffy? The soft hair of a budgie and the tips of a feather.
What is heavy? An iron block and a grandfather clock.
What is tiny? The tip of a nail and an ant on a rail.
What is tall? Big ben and the legs of a hen.
What is fragile? My mums coffee mug and a weak comfy rug.
What is mini? The grains of sand and the glitter in a pop band.
What is shiny? A freshly washed plate and the reflection in the glass.
What is loud? The dustbin man in the morning and a dinosaur roaring.
What is bright? The sun at sunset And the flicker of my light.
What is ripe? An apple from Tesco and a freshly picked cabbage from Mexico.
Great job Jake I really like it
what do you mean when you said glitter in a pop band?
Usually people like to throw glitter out in a band/pop band to catch everyone’s attention.
This is a fantastic poem Jake it has good punctuation and good vocabulary but some lines don’t really make sense such as what is mini? The grains of sand and the glitter in a pop band.
What I meant by that is when sometimes at the end of a pop band in real life or in a movie they throw out glitter.
Jake, I really enjoy when you said about the what is fluffy part. From Seth SWW.
Thank you.
