Cold, Icy Dragon
Eyes as white as stars in the night sky,
Glittering brightly,
So bright they are blinding you,
Like the moon up close.
Teeth as shiny as a gold plate,
Like a bolt of lightning striking white,
Ready to slice
at any moment.
Wings like huge palm tree leaves,
cold as ice in the glittering, trembling frost,
Blue as the ocean deep down below depths.
Scales, sharp and spiny slithering slowly,
Slowly thumping at snail speed…
Sliding across the slippery ice like a lost lion.
Nice poem
The best poem i have seen in ages!!
I really enjoyed reading your poem. I especially liked the comparison of the wings being like palm trees.
Dear Georgie,
You have some powerful images here; I think my favourite is the LOST LION.
Well done!
