The Dragon
The dragon stops and sniffs the air,
It’s eyes wide and glowing green in the night sky,
A scaled tail swishes in the wind as the dragon moves,
It’s slithery skin glistens in the moonlight,
It opens it’s sharp toothed mouth ready for passers by,
A clawed foot shifts back onto the sandy path,
It’s wings sharp like a knife,
Finally, it takes off and soars into the night sky breathing fire till out of sight.
